Benaimin Is a consummate professional and artist. He did everything in a timely manner from arriving on time to providing a bid. If he got stuck in our horrible regional traffic, he texted to give his estimated time of arrival. When he left every day, everything was clean from the bathroom he was working in, to the garage he used as a work area, and everything in between. He even dusted the top of the bathroom tansu cabinet at the end of the project! Throughout the project it was clear that Benaimin has an artist’s eye and has incredibly high standards for his work. Because he was renovating an existing shower he had to deal with walls that weren’t plumb, a little water damage, and clients who added a shampoo cutout the first day. Benaimin took whatever happened in stride and immediately went into problem solving mode. It was clear that he was always looking for solutions that would result in great outcomes not what would be the easiest and quickest. He often ran possible solutions past us to see what we preferred. While it is clear that Benaimin has a lot of knowledge, skill, and experience he appears to get a lot of pleasure out of learning from issues that arise consequently he continues to learn. When a plumbing fixture was configured differently than any he had run into before and required a tile cut change, he immediately came over an hour after he received my text to determine what needed to be changed. He scans other tile professionals’ postings to see the work of those he admires. Our final product is beautiful because Benaimin saw to the details. He meticulously placed individual stones around the drain rather than just placing the sheets of stones and leaving an opening around the drain. He cut a row of tiles that were placed around the outside of the shower so that they would better tie in with the alignment of the tiles that are on the adjacent wall. He procured quartz and schluter for the shampoo cutout that we added at the last minute to make a beautiful opening. If we weren’t going to put products on the shelves we would have wanted it to be a something everyone sees. For us another important factor to consider when hiring someone to work in our home is whether we would feel comfortable having this person in our home and Benaimin passes this with flying colors. While we will be happy to have our shower project complete, we will miss having him in our home.
