ceramic tile, flooring contractor
+ 0 moreAlex's name was given to us as referral. From the first meeting I was encouraged that Alex knew what he was doing so we contracted Apex Stone to tile our Master Bathroom. The scope of his work included ALL the underlayment work (but that amount is not included in the sq. ft. price of the tiling listed on this report but is included in the final $4,000) and a full shower w/pan construction & with Smart Panel Shower from Costco online (which is excellent!). They also installed an under tile heating system throughout the Master Bathroom and even in the shower floor (WONDERFUL). Our photo is prior to installing shower doors. Alex told me prior to the project that his brother Igor would be the main person working on my project. They began the work together then Igor was the tile layer from then on. Igor is VERY young and that concerned me in the beginning (because of that last tiling ordeal we had experienced). But Igor is an EXCELLENT tile craftsman/artist.
Description of Work: The workmanship is EXCELLENT. They completed their work on the TIME FRAME and within the original detailed ESTIMATE. And they were not wasteful of our tiles. They were RELIABLE and true to the schedule they had given us and their promises of quality!!! Master Bathroom TILING of floor & complete shower at $7.50 per sq. ft. for the labor (not included are the materials or Extras). Charges for our Extras: The Under tile floor HEATING Decorative features of Niches and Picture Frame Panels. The Prep work (underlayment). The total contracted price of the labor INCLUDING all the EXTRAS was around $4,000. FYI - We bought our own tile from a home improvement store - their Rialto 'travertine look'. They are the most realistic looking of the tile travertines we have seen.
