Arrived on time, great quality and professional workers. Great attention to detail. Cleaned up during and after the job.

While resourcing painters in the area I paid close attention to reviews. Reviews just don't always tell the whole story. What stood out about American Home Painting is they tell you things about their company that underline the words, integrity and pride in workmanship. This first sentence hooked me; "Our crew has been with me for many years. They are all kind, courteous, drug-free and family oriented. We take great pride in providing a top quality paint job while making it an easy experience for you.". It hooked me because it lays the foundation for solid business expectancies, like punctuality, exemplary work ethic and efficiency in completing work in a timely manner. This company has a high bar for a job well done and in our case they exceeded that by noticing & correcting,flaws that we wouldn't have noticed. They stayed within the bid parameters and were impeccably clean. This is the company you want to hire if you want to avoid disappointments. They really are the god guys in business.

It went really well. Erin painted our new home before we moved in. She did a lot in such a short time frame. We are very pleased. We will call them again soon to do other painting projects in our home.

Though the bid was not the lowest we went with American Home Painting for several reasons. From the start Damon was very easy and pleasant to work with and excellent in communication with us and with his crew. He gave a clear and confident response to how they were going to treat the mold areas which was a concern of ours. We are very pleased with the results and with the professional ways of Damon and his crew from start to finish.

They showed up every day and did everything we wanted. Damon helped us think of ways to reduce the cost. His team was polite, efficient, sociable (but not too chatty) and cleaned up after themselves every day. No spills and no ragged edges.

They did a great job painting my bedroom. The wall patches were done great, can't see them at all. Used a good quantity of paint and did the job quick and neat. I would definitely call them for my next paint job.

We found Damon very professional and ready to work to solve our problems. He responded quickly to provide an estimate for the required work. Jason was the employee that accomplished our work. Jason was very pleasant to work with and he worked very hard to finish our job. If you ever use American Home Painting you can not go wrong with Jason.

Damon is great to work with. His team completed the job very independently and with high quality. The estimate process and discussion went very well and he was very helpful in determining how to approach the job. Once the job started, he made suggestions on about additional work that needed to be done and talked me through the changes. While I was very interested in completing the job quickly, Damon stuck with the original time estimate (four days) as a target, but then the team did finish in two and 1/2 days. Damon ensured that the job was done with high quality, yet understood where we needed to work to keep costs down. I will use this company again.

From the very beginning, Damon was very professional. He arrived promptly to our first estimate appointment and subsequent visits. There was no time window of ETA. This is almost unheard of. I wish I could give Damon and his employees 10 stars. The workmanship could not be better. They use only quality paint. We visited the Benjamin Moore paint showroom to select the colors. Each employee we spoke with raved about Damon. Mind you, he is not an employee of Benjamin Moore. We plan to request that he returns to complete the first level of our house on the next month. Thanks Damon!!!!

Our home needed a full interior paint job. We turned to Angie?s List to find a local painting company that had a good reputation for quality work at a price we could afford. Both the reviews and business detail provided on Angie?s List by the company itself helped us select AMERICAN HOME PAINTING. Damon Thompson, the owner, was very responsive in coming out to the house to walk through each room in order to prepare a detailed estimate that gave us the flexibility to stay within budget. Damon offered suggestions on how to minimize cost (i.e. We elected not to paint certain closet interiors and doors.) As the job progressed, he called to let us know that he didn?t think a second coat was needed, a further cost savings. The crew worked hard. They were focused, efficient and responsive to our questions. Very professional, polite and considerate of both the premises and of us. During the final walk thru, they quickly took care of a couple of minor issues. The entire process went smoothly and we are very happy with the whole experience. The new paint job really brightens the place up. You can tell that it was professionally done, all within a week! There was no spraying involved (all hand rolling and brush work), using good quality paint with minimal odor. The work involved patching a number of problem areas on walls, baseboards and ceilings. We decided to stick with our old color scheme and the new paint matched spot on. For any future painting projects, we would definitely hire AMERICAN HOME PAINTING again and recommend them highly. Another great find on Angie?s List!

It went very well. Job started on 1/14/15 and ended on 1/20/15. Workers were professional and friendly. This was a large job so the house was rearranged to empty (as much as possible) the areas being painted. At the end of each work day, they cleaned up to allow our ease of movement thru the work areas. I was very pleased at the quality of the painting. It looks great!

Damon and his crew were very professional, on time, and very careful. The results were everything we wanted and then some! We will have more painting projects and we plan on using American Home Painting again.

The service provided by Damon was courteous, punctual and professional. He completely explained the process and what to expect. The project was completed on the dates requested and the painters were efficient and detailed with a full clean up at the finish. Absolutely satisfied with the outcome and would use this contractor again for any future painting.

Damon's crew, especially Jason, did a fantastic job! First of all, the quality of the painting was excellent, but we were also very impressed with their professionalism, including how well they accommodated us while doing the job. They were careful to plan with us so that we could get stuff out of the way, but we could use our home during the time the job was being done. They were very careful to cover anything that might get paint on it. Jason, the main painter had a great combination of speed and meticulousness. We had many different color selections in different rooms, and Damon and Jason gave us good advice about paint quality, sheens and colors. They also checked several times during the job to be sure no errors were made in which paint went where. Overall, we were very impressed. We are not sure how to compare prices. We did not get any firm bids from other contractors, but one other person gave a ballpark figure that was comparable. The job took more than a week, mostly with one person here, and two people on several days. Paint was included in the price. We would definitely use this company again, and would recommend them to others.

Damon (business side person) met initially with my wife to get all the details of the quote correct. They also worked with us on scheduling and came out exactly on time, and were on time every day after that. Jason (the actual painter) did a great job prepping our room, which had exposed beams and other tricky bits in the way. The quality of the work was superb, way above what I could do and worth the cost. Jason was so quiet we didn't even notice he was there and he was very respectful of our home. It was also done faster than we expected. Highly recommended and we will re-hire for any future painting jobs.

Jason was awesome! The room was initially red and really needed a rework. Jason did an amazing job and I am very pleased with the result. He was quiet, professional and courteous and we didn't even know he was at the house most of the time. The rest of the house needs some paint work so I will be looking at Damon and his team down the road for some help. GREAT job Jason. Thank you!!!

Damon was incredibly responsive and fun to work with. He was always on time or was proactive in letting me know if other issues came up that would prevent him from being punctual (telling me in advance that any engagements he had prior to meeting with me could possibly cause him to be a little late, which I appreciated). He also was incredibly patient! We went through a very long quote and decision-making process due to the fact that we had so much work we wanted to get done. Damon always made us feel like valued customers that he wanted to do business with. He had a team of 3 people work on our job for about a week and a half, and they were all very professional as well. There were a few instances where there were unexpected issues that arose with the work, and the team was generally good at keeping me informed regularly of any issues, possible options, and the resulting price change. They did paint the ceiling of a small half bathroom which had not been previously agreed upon, but after explaining the issue to me, I would have agreed to it anyways. It did not seem to me that this was Damon's normal way of running things and that this was a one-off mistake. From a quality perspective, we are very happy with the cleanliness of the lines and corners as well as the way the colors turned out. We have since the painting noticed two small areas where the second coat of paint doesn't seem to have been applied fully, but these are in fairly out of the way places and can only be seen when light hits the wall a certain way. Also - there is a little bit of residue from the paint on a number of our light switches which I think can be easily cleaned off. To be fair, I never did a full and thorough review of the paint job before signing off on everything and making my final payment, so it wasn't as if the issue was addressed and unresolved. All in all, we are very happy with the quality and would use Damon's team again. In addition to this, Damon was very fair regarding pricing. There was quite a bit of miscellaneous work that needed to be done and multiple coats of paint in certain rooms. Damon did not try to penny pinch me, and I felt the resulting price was very fair.

I have always had excellent service from American Home Painting. They are very professional, very accommodating, and very honest and trustworthy. I value their suggestions for ways to improve the appearance of the home in ways that provide a lot of value for the money. They are friendly, careful and courteous, and I will continue to use their services this year (2014) and in the future.

Damon was wonderful to work with. He and his 2 co-workers were punctual and very professional. The trim/casing/door painting required special attention due to areas of damage from a previously owned dog. Others that we received bids from told us we had no choice but to replace the deeply scratched doors and casings. The woodwork and doors looked BRAND NEW after extra sanding and bondo/spackling to help smooth. All woodwork was primed followed by full and even paint coverage. Damon also chose to do extra sanding in the bathroom because of previously painted artwork on the walls and he didn't like the look of the walls when the initial painting was done. He was very meticulous in his work, all areas were thoroughly masked and cleanup was exceptional. All work was completed on schedule as promised. We look forward to using Damon again on our next project.

We were extremely pleased with the performance of his company. They were extremely professional, were on time, arrived when they said the would, and were done on schedule. To my husband the most important point was that he liked both of the painters and felt comfortable having them in our home. The work was extremely professional. They did all the prep work and cleaning and cleaned up everything when they were done. I cannot give them enough praise.

Damon was very flexible about schedule due to medical issues that came up after we had set the original schedule. Working with his paint rep, Damon made an extra effort to make sure I had the right color. Also, his team did an incredible job repairing baseboards that my puppy had chewed on: there is no evidence that it ever happened! He and his team were friendly and professional. My place looks fantastic!

Damon showed up on time for the consultation and we discussed what needed to be done and he gave me a few color options. I knew what color I wanted and he brought samples for me to look at, we kept in touch until all colors were finalized. Damon and his team of 5 friendly guys showed up on the agreed date and on time. They were ready to work, first Damon walked the crew through the house and showed them what was needed to be done, so everyone was on the same page. When I left for work the guys were laying plastic and tarp down and taping off the area that needed it. The goal was ceiling and first coat on the walls. When I got home from work the ceiling and 80% of the walls were done and everything was taped off. I knew prep work probable took a good part of the morning, so I was impressed on how far they got. The next day they completed the first coat on all the surfaces, also it was Labor day weekend. I was heading out of town, but I left a key with Damon. So I expected they would take time off or do a little painting if any at all. On returning on Monday they showed up and continued when left off. Second coat went up fast and they were done by that afternoon, that evening when I returned home. The house was clean of the plastic covers, tarp and tape, and there equipment was left in a pile waiting to be pick up the next day. I did a walk through that night and again in the morning to see thing in different light and found two missed spots. But overall the colors matched on what I wanted and it was better then I expected it to be. I gave Damon a call about the missed spots and said he would take care of that when he returned the next day to pick up the equipment. Which worked out perfectly, the rollers he needed were there in pile of equipment. After about 5 min of touch up the house was perfect and left the house clean. They did a great job!! I would use Damon and his crew again.
