Richard arrived on time for the estimate. Upon agreeing to a price and schedule, the firm arrived 1/2 hour early to start the work. Each day the crew performed the agreed upon tasks and the project was completed exactly on time. The new patio surface matches the old patio surface perfectly. After the job was completed the firm cleaned up everything. There was no damage to the property as a result of the firm's work. This job took 3 days from start to finish. They left the forms on the new concrete for an additional day to allow for the concrete to cure. I highly recommend this firm and will use them again.

Rich was great to work with. When he came out to assess the job and provide an estimate, he brought a picture album of previous work. I found that very helpful as an example of the quality of work, as well as providing ideas for my own workplan. Very likeable personality. He is dead serious about the quality of his work. There was never an instance were he wasn't personally on site, while the work was being done; much of it by him personally. I appreciate his flexibility, as I made changes to the workplan mutiple times; sometimes on the spot while the work was being completed. They dynamics of his team were great. They worked very well together. Very hard workers, with attention to detail, and obvious pride in workmanship. Rich is very much a hands on small business owner, and very reflective of the small businesses that make up the employment backbone of this country. We were so pleased with his work, that we have asked him to provide an estimate for additional walkways.

All Concrete Surfaces was great! Rich came out and give his bi the same day I called and I had the estimate in my hand the next day. We were placed on the schedule and due to some issues on my side, Rich was sill able to squeeze me in. Rich and his crew were great. They answered my 4 yr olds questions with great humor. I will be using this company again when it is time to do the walk ways

I got them from Angie's List. The person who came out was there on the job himself doing the work with a helper. He was very good, and I would recommend him. He did excellent work; he came in exactly what he said he would do, he didn't charge anymore and just did a beautiful job.

WooHoo, a man that communicates! Seriously, from beginning to end, I found Rich & crew to be very pleasant and professional. At the end of each day, I knew what had been done & what would be done on the next day. He was true to his word. The end product is excellent! I have already recommended him to a neighbor and will continue to do so

Rich came out and gave us an estimate for the various costs, depending on what we selected for size, color, etc. Once we decided exactly what we wanted we set up a start date for the work. Everyday that they were working here Rich kept us informed as to what had been done and what would be done next. They arrived when they said they would and worked very h****** whatever they were working on. When the job was complete Rich put up safety cones and yellow tape so no one would use the driveway by accident. Rich told us when we could start using the driveway and would be back to get the cones. His whole crew worked very diligently and didn't leave any mess when they were done. I would definately not hesitate to recommend them.

Rich promptly returned my call and came out the next day to take measurements to replace my old, cracked and ugly driveway. I also wanted to replace the straight walkway from the sidewalk to my front door with a curved walkway connected to the driveway. He emailed me an estimate the next day and I received a written estimate in the mail the day after that. I had also called another highly rated company and left a message asking for an estimate. It took them three days to return my call. By then I figured they weren't interested in my job and had agreed to have All Concrete do the work. I'm glad I did. The first day Rich and his crew did the demolition and removal of the old concrete. The second day they laid the forms. Two days later when the weather allowed they poured the concrete. Throughout the whole process Rich was very helpful and professional. He asked me each day if I had any questions and answered all the questions I did have. He graciously accommodated a few last minute minor changes and made sure I was satisfied with the design. I don't like looking over people's shoulders while they work but when Rich invited me to watch when they were pouring the concrete and doing the finishing work, I took him up on the invitation. Rich and his small crew did an excellent job. I've gotten lots of complements from my neighbors and people walking by. It really transformed the look of my house. The curved walkway adds an elegance that didn't exist previously. I highly recommend All Concrete Surfaces.

Rich's estimate was quite a bit lower than other bids I received, and he was very responsive and professional and seemed very knowledgeable. So I hired him. He and 2 helpers arrived to start the work on the planned day. They were late, but he called to apologize, explain the traffic situation, and give me a new eta which he met. They excavated the site, rolling away the sod and carting off the extra dirt and debris. He put in the frames and then said the cement pour would have to happen the next day. When he left I looked and the slab forms were not quite level. The hot tub company told me it had to be level. The next morning he and his helpers showed up on time and I mentioned about the level. He said it was so water could run off, but he adjusted the forms so they were level anyway, no problem. Rich went to get the cement -- he had it poured in the back of a pickup truck and had to use wheelbarrows to get it to my backyard. They worked pouring the concrete most of the morning and he left to let the concrete cure. His workers stayed behind to clean tools, etc. He came back and they all left for 4 hours while it completed it's curing. He came back right on time and rinsed off the cement for the "exposed aggregate" surface. It looked beautiful. And the entire time, he kept me up-to-date about what they were doing and what was going to happen next. I didn't have to pay until everything was completed. I've already asked him to give me an estimate for another job.

Our experience with Rich and All Concrete Surfaces was totally positive from our first phone call requesting an estimate to the final inspection. I left a voice-mail inquiring about arranging an estimate, and Rich phoned back at the requested time. He arrived promptly for the estimate meeting, and quickly sent us a detailed job cost estimate. We signed and sent back the Acceptance of Proposal and work started within a week. We were very impressed with Rich's professionalism and honesty throughout the entire process and project. Rich and the crew arrived promptly on the start date. Rich worked along side his crew each day, and they all worked very hard during the removal and installation. Everybody was pleasant, professional, and very skilled at their tasks. They were very tidy and no messes were left behind. We were very impressed with the care that was taken to protect our garage doors and newly installed front porch and steps during the removal and replacement installations. There was one minor wrinkle in the project, and Rich quickly came up with a working solution. The original estimate ($4250) was based on being able to tie the new drive-way drain into the existing downspout drainage next to the garage. Rich explained this at our initial meeting. When he tested the down-spout to make sure it could carry off additional water, we all discovered that the builder had installed the wrong type of drainage pipe (perforated), which was just dumping water along the side of our house all these years. Rich explained what the additional cost would be to fix the situation, which involved digging a very long ditch and installing the proper drainage pipes. The additional costs were reasonable, and we gladly gave the go-ahead. Our new driveway, walkway, and back porch are beautiful, and the new channel drain carries off the rain-water flawlessly. No more ponds in front of the garage during periods of heavy and extended rainfall. We are very satisfied customers of Rich Fredrickson and All Concrete Surfaces.

They were really good about getting back to us and giving us a quote. We used Angie's List references and we were glad we did. The company was rated well. We had to pay for the concrete separately. We did the forms and we paid for the concrete. We paid them for just the labor. When the concrete came out, they did the leveling and the sidewalk. They put treatment on the top to make it more slip resistant. They were very professional. When we asked for a quote, the guy actually returned our call and came. We called quite a few companies and some people didn't call back and some people didn't show up. All Concrete Surfaces was very quick to respond to give the quote. They showed up and did the work. They did a good job.

All Concrete Surfaces was the first company to come out and give us an estimate. When Rich came out to look at the project he knew exactly what problems we were having with water pooling on our existing walkway, and that our drain in the driveway wasn't working properly. Rich noticed that the slope of the existing sidewalk was causing some of the problems and had solutions for everything we wanted done. He was very professional, and had photos of other work he had completed to show me on the spot of examples of the new drain. He emailed his estimate to us within 24 hours and sent a hard copy int the mail. We had other companies come out to give us estimates, they were very close in price but they didn't pick up the issues we were currently having and I had to point them out. They also didn't have quick solutions to those problems. The other reason we went with All Concrete Surfaces was the fact that Rich stayed on site with his team and did the work with them rather than give instructions and head out for the day. Rich was great about respecting our time, he was running late on the day they were going to start and called to let us know. They completed the work in the time he estimated, weather wasn't co-operative this spring so we had to wait an extra day or two before the concrete could be poured. Finished up quickly and left the area neat and tidy when finished. His entire team was friendly and worked quickly. It is apparent the entire team takes pride in the work they do. We are very pleased with how everything looks.

Start to finish--from bid to completion of driveway--we were very pleased with Rich and All Concrete Surfaces, LLC. He was very professional and kept us in the loop at all times. Weather does not always cooperate; however, we heard from Rich at every point in the process. He is a true professional in his field. He works with a pleasant and hard-working crew. Our driveway is beautiful.

I ultimately did not go forward with this project as the city dealt with the issue of the water coming off the street down into the garage (from a swale at the top part of the driveway). At some point (though it may be a couple years away) I may need to get the driveway itself replaced and will consider this company at the top of the list for that work at that time, should I take the longer view and replace with concrete instead of asphalt. Rich was prompt, personable and seemed very knowledgeable about both the concrete trade as well as the ins and outs of necessary permitting aspects. I enjoyed working with him (which would be a factor in any contracting situation). He took the time to explain things in detail for me and was willing to answer any questions I had. Since the swale at the top and the parking strip are city right of way, then cannot be concrete (per Rich) and so that part would still be pending after the asphalt work. The quote above is for JUST the concrete part of the driveway and addressing drainage issues at the bottom.

It was a long project. the demolition took the first week and Rich poured the new concrete in 3 pours on 3 different days. Because of the exposed aggregate process, the crew worked very long days. Everybody on the crew was friendly, professional and worked very hard. Rich was great to work with. He was always prompt and kept us well informed of what would be going on. We had one problem with a bad blemish on the front porch directly in front of the door. Rich tried to get it out and when he couldn't, he demo'd that entire segment of porch and repoured to our satisfaction. We were also worried about some other areas where there appeared to be visible swirls in the concrete, but Rich said that acid washing would make the entire surface even-looking and richer. I was a little skeptical, but we paid Rich $700 to acid wash the drive, walk and porch and it came out great. I would definitely recommend getting the acid-washing for a new exposed aggregate surface. The crew did a great job of not disturbing the surrounding lawn and cleaning up the work site every night. The crew was also sensitive to trying to keep the work from bothering the neighbors too much. They cleaned the street in front of the house every night and the inspector from city hall was also impressed by their work.

Rich from All Concrete came out to the job site and gave me an estimate on the spot. I called him back and we found a start date that worked for both of us. The crew came out early to prep the area. They finished that day and cleaned up the area. A lot of concrete guys will leave big piles of extra concete and puddles of slurry from cleaning their tools and the truck chute. These guys cleaned everything up and all that was left were two "shovel sized" lumps of concrete. I could just pick them up and put them in the trash can. Also, the price is great. You don't want to cheap out on concrete work becuase, well, it's cast in concrete.

They did the work on time, and they were there when they said they would be. They were also back when they said they would be. They had done a good job.

We had a very time sensitive project and while Richard was very helpful and sounded like he could accomodate our schedule we ended-up with another contractor that had immediate availability.

Rich followed through the entire project from bidding, planning and executing. He made honest suggesstions in terms of product selection and pricing option. The work was done on time and as expected.

The experience was very pleasant. Rich, the owner, is the one who makes the estimate and heads the actual crew that does the work. His bid was lower than others, they performed the work when promised, and they were very professional in every way, including their interactions with us, their attention to detail, their willingness to help resolve a drainage issue near the driveway, their timeliness, and clean-up. Moreover, the end product looks great.

Rich, Corey, Carey are the absolute best people to work with. Rich Frederickson, the owner, called me within 24 hrs of my email from Angie's List. He came out with a couple of days, got a bid for our work and within the week we were underway. We have an older home built in 1965, the whole street is asphalt so this home has never had an actual driveway. In 2005 we started a massive remodel adding a 2 1/2 car garage, master bedroom, master bath and it has just continued on upgrading everything as we went along. We hadn't considered a driveway, but the bad general contractor and his excavator had torn out the front yard, broke water main and tore out our steps, landscaping and took down our rockeries, all of which we had to replace at our expense. Anyway the driveway & stairs was all we hadn't replaced out front. Then all Concrete Surfaces came and the front of our home has never looked more beautiful. What a transformation!

Rich came to the house and we were considering replacing the old cracked primed concrete with either a deck or another patio. The old patio was sloped toward the house and was in terrible condition. No one wanted to try to over coat it or anything. Rich measured everything, we discussed the option of eliminating the shed and replacing the foundation with a concrete pad and I asked for that to be an 'option' on the bid. He asked me questions about color, finish, curves and answered my questions about sealer and the downspout. He was the most professional of all the very professional contractors I've deal with in the house yet - believe me this is high praise because I've found the best of the best in Angie's List. A couple days later, as he promised, I received a bid in the mail hand written with the most beautiful hand printing I've seen. It was detailed to the most minor of services. The price seemed very reasonable for the services listed and we elected to have the shed pad poured and the old shed and it's foundation removed as well. Rich scheduled to come to do the demo, re do the drain and build the forms and arrived on the day scheduled at the time scheduled. They protected the house with plastic sheets and cleaned up after themselves very well. Once that was done we were second in line for concrete which would be scheduled with Mother Nature. It was about a week or so later that he called me to schedule for the next sunny day which was 2 or 3 days later and lucky for us both Mother Nature stuck with the plan as well. Everyone showed up that morning and although the pumper truck had some blocked hose, Rich and his crew over came all that adversity to get the pad and patio poured and finished beautifully. Had I not been here and heard about the problem with the pumper truck I would have never known. It did not concern me even at the time because Rich seemed to have a solution and I believe that no matter what happened he would have made it right for us. The weather was warm and sunny and the concrete sat up beautifully. We had rain a couple days later which we understand makes the concrete even stronger. The pour was on Friday and on Monday they came to remove the forms and take away the excess concrete that had been poured and allowed to harden. They cleaned up all the chunks that fell off the forms and other than the tiniest little pieces of concrete you wouldn't know that anyone had been here - well, except that a beautiful new patio is there! I couldn't be happier and hope our driveway and front steps hold out for a few more years but we will definitely use Rich and All Concrete Surfaces again.

Rich was awesome to work with, from start to finish. We met on site to do an estimate and discuss the job and he was very helpful in working with me to get a fair price and complete the job. We scheduled the job on the spot after agreeing to the terms. Rich followed up with me a couple times leading up to the job to confirm everything was as agreed and that the prep work was completed. The crew arrived as planned, the mud and pump showed up on time as well, and everything went very smoothly, exactly as discussed. We signed a simple contract that Rich drew up without me even requesting before the job was done, which was great - I'm always happy to see a company that's enthusiastic about standing behind their word and their work. Great job all around and the whole crew was very skilled, professional, and friendly. All Concrete is everything you could hope for. This was a relatively straightforward job except for managing the fact that they had to climb in and out of the hole (with a slab in the bottom) but I also saw some photos of a more involved job they did a couple days ago, which looked great as well.

Rich was one of three contractors from whom I obtained bids. His bid was the lowest, and due to the many positive reports in Angies' Llist, he got the job. Rich and his crew (Dustin and Carrie) jack hammered and removed the existeing driveway. They then removed all roots, laid the forms and rebar, poured the new concrete, leveled and finished it, then cleaned up everything. Job was estimated to take 3 days, but was extended by 1 day due to weather. Rich, Dustin and Carrie were all very professional and obviously knowledgeable about their product.
