I called to set up an appointmentk letf a meesage at the store number and at Devin's cell phone, No response so I called the next day and set up an appointment for the following day with Devin (the owner). The next day he missed appointment entirely and when I called he appologigez and rescheduled. He made it on time the next time. I then went and picked out the stone I wanted, and went into the store to sign the contract for fabrication and installation. Devin wasn't around and so his partner (Frank I believe) set it up and we made our down payment. Fortunatly he wrote the cell phone number of the installer on the back of his business cards, and told us that the installer woudl come and make templates the following Monday. Monday came and went with no installer showing up. Several more calls to Devin and the store, leaving messages. No return calls. Monday late morning I called the installer and he said he never got the information from Devin and would have make it on Tuesday. Tuesday the installer (Tom) came and made the templates and promised delivery on Thursday. Devin never called to see why I had left messages or to see how things were going. Apparantly I had been handed off to the installer. Wednesday Tom the installer called and said that the Thursday installation date would need slipped to Friday. When I asked when he said early afternoon around 12n-1pm, and then added it would only take a couple of hours and he would be done by 5pm. Sure enough he came in around 2pm and was done by 4pm. He didn't want the remainder of the money, saying Devin would stop by. This is Sunday and still no Devin to come and get the check. On one hand, the installation was excellant and quick and we've very happy with our new countertops. On the other hand I don't know how a business keeps going with such lousy communication. Be prepared to make numerous phone calls to keep abrest of what's going to happen.

We were very happy with the pricing, the quality of work, and the overall customer service. They were really nice to work with. They came in at a better price than a quote from another company. We also wanted to stay local. They referred us to another company for the sinks and the faucets.
Description of Work: We went through Affordable Flooring for new countertops in our kitchen and our bathroom. They subcontracted the installation out with another company.
