We've been in our house since 1989 - it had been a rental.. The driveway was there then. Over time, various bumps and cracks occured due to the weather. Now that I have to take my husband out to our vehicle in his wheelchair, I was not comfortable with the condition of the driveway. Roads Paving was redoing our neighbor's driveway and gave us an estimate for ours on Wednesday. Today, Nov. 1st, they came and removed the old material and redid our driveway. It is such an improvement and adds to the value of our home. I know that it is a safe surface when we have to transport my husband.. Very professional crew and they did a beautiful job!!!

I called for an estimate and they were able to set one up right away. Owner came out and was very detailed with me, suggesting ways to make it aesthetically appealing. He then provided me with an estimate. My husband wasn't home at the time, so when I showed the estimate my husband had questions. We called and the owner got right back with us (even though it was a Sunday) and explained everything to my husband. We called to schedule the job and they were able to get us in within 2 weeks. Although late because of an issue with keys, they all arrived and went right to work. The driveway looks fantastic and we are extremely pleased. I would recommend Roads Paving to anyone who wants a professional job done at a very reasonable price.

Best part about this company is that they were responsive. Someone was always in the office to answer the phone. The onsite estimate was done quickly and the work was able to be scheduled in a couple weeks. Price was comparable with other estimates. The work was done on time and per our contract. A large team of about 12 guys showed up with lots of equipment. They worked hard and got the job done in about 4-5 hours. Very good clean up. Supervisor on site had helpful suggestions on how to maintain the new asphalt and also the newer sections of my driveway that didn't need repair at this time. I will probably have them come back next year and seal the entire driveway.

I called 5 different companies for bids to seal our driveway. Thomas was the fist person to call me back. He came out the next day for a bid and we decided to have it done the following day. It went great and the driveway looked very good. Then.......the next afternoon we had unexpected torrential rains and it literally washed it all away. Our neighbor had his done at the same time. We both called Tom and told him what happened. He said he would try and get out to re-do them when he was in our area again. It was a week before the sun came back to dry things out, but he called and was back to reseal it. Now........it was not done quite the same as the first time,, but it looked good and we were happy to have it redone. Tom did not have to come back, but he did. It created a lot of good will for this company to hav ethis done, and I want to thank Tom for his efforts.

He was very personable. We had a lot of questions and he explained things well. We decided since the weather wasn't on our side and we want to pay cash we are going to wait until next year.

The work accomplished was outstanding!. The estimator came out and gave me an estimate that was fair. The crew showed up on time, the job was outstanding and very professional. I would hire them any time. The crew were friendly.

Went great overall. These guys beat other estimates I had by about $400, and the quality was superb. Not only was the price much better, but Roads' estimate included 1" thicker asphalt than the others had. They were able to do an estimate the day after I called, and scheduled an appointment for completing the work about 1 week later. They had all of the best heavy equipment brought out for paving, the same type of machines you see doing highway work - not to mention a fleet of workers. Norm had detailed estimates and recommendations when he initially came out, including printed information going over facts about asphalt and what the best process is for caring for it when it is new, etc. The city was in the process of repairing sidewalks at the same time, and Roads was able to work around that. They took care of the job while I was away at work. When I got home, I was surprised to find that 4 of my neighbors had seen the work going on and decided on the spur of the moment to have Roads replace their driveways the same day! The excellent pricing no doubt contributed to that.

This was a big job for our home. We needed new driveways on two sides of our house. Both were wide enough for two cars plus work space and went from the house to the street. I got four bids. Norm's bid from Roads Paving was both the lowest and provided the most service. He also gave me the best information about what he would do and what to expect. He was also the only one who said I should remove the old asphalt rather than repairing parts of it. The crew showed up at the agreed upon time, removed the old asphalt, and applied the new asphalt. The crew was very efficient and the forman was great about keeping me informed about what they were doing. The new driveways are beautiful and well done. I have heard many compliments on our new driveways and two people have asked for recommendations. I love our new driveways and am grateful for them every time I get out of my car after returning home.

They were fast with a quote, came out the day after we scheduled (had to bump to do weather) and did a great job. Even helped out with some landscaping tips! Very nice, professional crew. Have one more area we plan to pave and we will definitely call them again.

They were very good and it went well very well. They did a good job. I thought he handled the bid professionally and when it came in doing the job, he came the day he said he would and got it done. I worked with them and from the estimating through the completion and everything, they were very good.

Great job. The crew came on time, performed exactly what we discussed and contoured the driveway perfect for drainage. Couldn't of asked for more from a contractor. Good honest folks.

As is evident from my ratings, this is a mixed review. On the upside, I was pleased with the resulting driveway, the speed with which the work was completed, and the price. So pleased, in fact, that I gave the crew a $100 tip for a "burger and six-pak" each. Now for the downside... This company installed 30 or more driveways in our development in a relatively short period of time during the summer of 2011. Their sales technique to myself and three neighbors who also used their services was not that of a reputable firm: door to door solicitation; offering a low price claiming leftover materials from another job; indication that work must be completed today, etc. But, I went with them anyway based on the number of other folks in the development already sporting a new driveway from them. Now the primary reason for the "F" ratings... At the time of installation, I and my neighbors were told by Roads that they would return in the future - I assumed after all the driveways in the development they had scheduled were completed - and provide the seal between the new driveway and the street at the same time for all the driveways they had installed. Nine months passed without Roads honoring this committment. In early May 2012, I contacted Roads to complain on behalf of myself and my neighbors. Norm - the owner - agreed that he owed us the seal to the street. He was in the field and requested I call his office and place myself on his schedule. He would then arrive when scheduled and provide the seal for myself and my neighbors. I called his office that day and received an email confirmation on May 9th that the work was scheduled for May 30th. Roads did not show up on May 30th and no further communication from them has been received to date. As a result, it is my opinion that the Roads does good work, but is unreliable. Therefore, I would not be able to recommend them to others.

They did ok. They had to dig out the old asphalt and then installed the berm. It works, but pieces of it came up later, and they did leave a little bit of a mess that I had to clean up. For the amount of money I feel it should have been closer to perfect.

I was able to ascertain if they understood how to do the job properly and buy the materials. They were pleasant and not pushy.

They seem to be pretty forward. They were very prompt and did a good job. I did not make any price comparisons but I thought their prices were fair.

It went outstanding! They did a great job and showed up on time. They cleaned up after wards, as well. There were no surprises!
