Gordon’s Lock Service

Description of Work: Replaced door handle and added deadbolt to door from house to garage. New door handle for front door.

Description of Work: My husband was trying to re-key the door locks for a friend in Bonney Lake, and had trouble with one of the two locks on one door. He brought it over to Gordon’s Lock Service, which only a few minutes from the house, and Michael, the owner, helped him, plus showed him how to complete the job at the house. I think that cost $15. Then, when my husband tried to do the rest by himself, he couldn’t do it because the lock had issues, probably because of a previous break-in attempt. He brought it back, and Michael fixed it, not charging any more even though it took a lot of effort. Then the next day, we were supposed to go over and finish the re-keying on the other locks, plus let in some workmen for another job, and our friend had accidentally locked the one we had re-keyed (!), but we didn’t have a key yet. We tried the garage door, but it didn’t work, and there was no other way in. So, Michael from Gordon's came over and got us into the house. He came over right away and only charged $30 for the house call (it was close by, so I don’t know if that influenced the price). While he was there he even took a look at the garage door control, which was also having problems (no charge), though he recommended we get a specialist to align the sensors, etc.
