 + 3 moreKiwi Custom Construction have very good attention to detail. It's a husband and wife team and I literally would trust them to do any kind of normal home remodel. Before I had the kitchen done, there was a water leak in the shower and I had them completely rebuild the shower, they put in new tile and everything else. There were some studs in the wall that dry rotted from the moisture and they replaced those. They do very, very fine work. They do painting for sure. When I had my kitchen done, they actually repainted the entire interior of the house and they installed new LED lighting in the kitchen. I talk to Leslie Fork who is the husband, I talked to him just last week about possibly doing a project. I sent him an email, I was at the house and he just popped in just to see, I didn't ask him for any appointment or anything, he just popped over and he's very professional. I will absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: I had them completely remodel a kitchen. I also own a house that they built. For the kitchen remodel, I think it was about $26,000, I remember and that was all new cabinets, new granite countertops, new sinks and new faucets. The only thing that we didn't replace was the appliances because they were in good shape. New lighting and new paint.

 + 5 moreI hired them for the job after an estimate, and then was out of state attending the birth of my twin grandchildren. When I returned about a month later the job was almost complete, except for a cabinet that needed me to choose the glass for the front.The kitchen looks entirely new, it is a beautiful addition to the house.
Description of Work: Leslie and Tabitha Thorpe recently finished a complete remodel of the kitchen in my house, they repainted the entire interior, and repaired a multitude of nail holes in the walls. In the kitchen they ripped out the old counters and cabinets and replaced them with solid wood cabinets, and granite counter tops. The new cabinets are about a foot taller than the original ones, and all have the soft close feature. The granite is a black speckled white and is just beautiful. The painting made the entire house look almost brand new, in addition to matching some of the existing colors Tabitha added accent colors to the kitchen which along with the new LED lighting make the entire room just pop.

 + -1 moreThe work was quickly done in a very professional manner. My tenants never had to move out, and quickly they had the shower back again.
Description of Work: I called Leslie Thorpe to look into a leak in the shower of a house that i had rented. Originally we thought that the sill and floor of the shower needed to be repaired to stop the leak. As Leslie was removing a piece of tile in order to get tile to match,a large chunk of the wall came away. A previous owner of the house had patched up the wall in the adjoining closet when the leak first was noticed. To keep the new drywall from being damaged again they stapled dry cleaning bags under the sheetrock, and didn't repair the problem at all. Leslie suggested that the entire shower needed to be rebuilt, and I gave the go ahead. As he peeled the sheetrock of it became apparent that the studs were completely rotted, and needed to be replaced. About three weeks later the work was completed, and now there is a perfect brand new shower with two interior shelves for shampoo and the like, and a foot step to put your foot on for shaving or washing. The new shower is all tile with a pebble shower floor. it is beautiful.

 + -1 moreHe did extras at no additional cost. Like adding gravel to the drive area, planting grass around the building, coming back when the door openers would not work and fixing them, putting in a water line at cost, digging addition holes by hand in the dark for the power company to be able to install the power line. The list is endless. I could not be more pleased. We have had him remodel a laundry room and bathroom since. Same results- outstanding work and promptness.
Description of Work: They built a 40' by 60' storage building.
