Description of Work: Installed new gutters on the residence

Description of Work: I had seamless gutters and two downspouts installed on the ends of my A-frame cabin. They also spread moss-killer on my roof to prep the roof for spraying. They came back in March and sprayed the roof.

Description of Work: Contacted A-1 Gutters (Michael Bruneau, owner) in early October 2010 regarding gutter replacement and cleaning, and roof cleaning services for my home in Bellingham, WA. Owner visited on schedule to provide a comprehensive estimate, and appeared enthusiastic and prepared to perform the work requested. I received reasonable written estimates within a few days, and contacted the owner to confirm my request to contract for the work described. At this point, my experience was extremely disappointing. I received no reply from the owner, either in person, by phone, or by email to my request to proceed with the work, so I contacted him by phone, He did not provide an explanation for his non-responsiveness, but promised to set-up a service date several weeks later, in early November. Once again, despite attempts to contact the owner regarding starting the job, I received no response from him, so I abandoned attempts to do business with the company. I am at a loss to explain why the owner appeared promptly for the initial consultation and provided written estimates, yet never followed through or provided an explanation for his unwillingness to proceed with the work as stated in the written estimate.
