My contact was very responsive and helpful. I was able to get boxes, tape, and packing paper at their location. The three movers were professional, prompt, and very friendly. They were diligent, talking with each other as they moved things and using all the best practices. They handled my grandfather clock with exquisite care. Their price was reasonable. They came in under their estimated price. There were no problems and the movers asked at the end if everything was all right and if I needed anything further. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Swan's is the class of Bellingham: honest, friendly, punctual and hard-working. Among other hard-to-move objects, they carted a grand piano out of an upstairs condo and into the second story of a house without a scratch. I can't recommend them more highly.

Communicated very well with us. They let us know when they picked up our property. They did a thorough inventory before transporting. They held in storage for a couple weeks while we were closing on our new home. They worked well with our timeline to make us happy. This move was the best job we've ever had. They were very respectful of our property. they made sure everything was protected and nothing was damaged - we were extremely happy with them. I have been in the military for almost 30 years and this is by far the easiest that I've experienced.

We have used Swan's Moving once before for a minor job of bringing a heavy sofa into our house from a moving van. They were quick and efficient as well as reasonably priced. When we planned a full house move a year later, they were our only call. The cost came in just under the estimated bid due to the non-stop efforts of the team, Nate and Grant. They took apart beds and loaded boxes, furniture, and garage items quickly. When they arrived at the new home, they set up every piece of furniture wherever we wanted it to be. They reassembled all beds and couches so we had only to put on sheets and blankets before retiring after the long day. The job that was performed was well done and the team obviously had good rapport with each other as well as with us as the clients. We highly recommend Swan's for any job, large or small. They will not disappoint you.

We were very well prepared with everything packed and ready to go. Our understanding was that insurance would cover only those things which were not packed but handled by Swan's....so we understood that anything we had packed and/or boxed was not covered. Otherwise, our stuff was ready. They took about a day to load the truck which included dismantling beds and other furniture. The movers were careful although they did damage the hardwood flooring in one room while moving a heavy piece. The problem began when we were contacted by the driver of our truck, three days into the trip, to tell us that he had broken down and was waiting for parts. From that moment on, we had to chase for information. It very much seemed to us that all responsibility for communication rested with the driver. The people at Swan's in Bellingham did not seem to know what was going on any more than we did. In the end, our goods were kept in the trailer in an un-cooled warehouse in Las Vegas for several days until they finally made their way to Arizona and delivery one full week beyond the original estimate. Most of the boxes had sort of collapsed from the extended time in the desert heat. We had two pieces of furniture damaged during the move. One teak chair was shattered into pieces and an antique planter was broken in four places. Since the insurance only covers at a rate of $0.65 a pound, when the adjuster called I told them not to bother coming out. To be told they would cover $35.00 of a $500 repair would just add insult to injury. This is the second time in four years I have used an Allied agent, including an international move from Europe to the U.S.. I will never use them again.

My experience with them was good. Nothing in particular stands out.

They were pretty nice, but the driver unloaded my belongings and mixed them all up into the two different locations. It was very annoying. It took over two days to resolve, and he did not handle it professionally. I am not displeased with Swan's, but rather the driver that they hired.

The movers were punctual and pleasant to work with. We ask them to move a very heavy cabinet upstairs after they were done and they did it without questioning the change. I would recommend them to anyone.

They had good communication in regards to keeping in touch.

They did very well. They were very professional and it was a very good crew. They actually moved some of our belongings to one location and some of our belongings to a different storage unit, not one of theirs. Now they are going to move it from the storage unit to another home. We like them very much.
