The response and professionalism we received was fantastic. The painter, Bobby, did a wonderful job. He took his time, secured the area so that no paint got anywhere other than where it was supposed to go. He spend the entire day doing a very professionalism job, and we are very pleased. Would definitely recommend Sound Painting.

After receiving three bids, all which were extremely close in price, I picked Sound Painting (Terry Potter) to do the job. He had painted the house up the street from me about eight years ago and it still looks freshly painted. The owners of that house were very happy with his work and highly recommended him. I have no regrets in my choice. Terry did a fantastic job on my house. He started with a thorough cleaning of the siding consisting of a solution of bleach water to kill the mold. That was followed with pressure washing it all down which made it a visibly cleaner area to paint on. The thing that really sets Terry apart from a lot of other painters is the amount of time he spends prepping the house. Two of my neighbors had their houses painted within the last year and I never saw them spend the time to do what Terry did. He went over all of the siding on my house nailing down any and all loose siding and caulking some areas that couldn't be nailed down. I was amazed how much time it took and how much siding was actually involved. Then he filled cracked siding and the knot holes, caulked all the windows and doors and does it with extreme precision! Once he started painting, Terry was very careful around my plants and surrounding areas. He was thoughtful when it came to my dogs and always tried to keep their area available to them when possible. (He loves dogs, for you dog lovers out there) I was worried about the gates being left open but he was always very thoughtful about that too. Terry takes the time to explain to you what he is doing and will show you his painting methods. I learned a lot about painting from him! In the end, my house is gorgeous! I love the colors and how it all just looks so professionally done. Many neighbors have commented on how beautiful it looks and the great job Terry did! There were several extra things Terry did that he didn't charge me for so that was just a nice bonus to his great work. I would describe Terry as honest, lots of pride in his work, dependable, and pleasant to have around. I highly recommend Sound Painting Company (Terry Potter) for anyone looking for a fantastic painter. His workmanship is impeccable and reflects the many years of experience and knowledge and pride he brings to his work! And as a side note, I would recommend if you have the option, start getting your bids early in the year. I got mine in February and had the house painted in July. If there is a woman involved in paint color selection, then you will need plenty of time to decide on colors!

I was very impressed with the prep work. It was incredible. He did all the scraping and cauking. When the job was finished, it looked great. I didn't think he could save the house after the last paint job, but he did. I would definitiely use him again. I don't recall how much it costs but it was reasonable.

We decided to get a complete interior paint job in preparation for selling our house. We wanted someone who would take a great deal of time doing the job right and would focus on the visual impression that the paint job would provide. Terry answered our request for a quote and came out and spent a great deal of time looking at the nature of the job and asking a lot of questions that other companies that quoted the job did not do. He use a format that was room by room with a detailed description of the job, what was and was not included in each room and our comments on specific items we wanted repaired, etc. It was clear that he was very methodical and process oriented in his business approach to quoting the job--something other vendors clearly did not do. His summary quote was very competitive and we chose him to do the work. He worked alone and spent a lot of time listening to our issues, and concerns and then described in detail how he would work the project. We needed to move a lot of furniture and each day during the entire two weeks it took to perform the job he would keep us informed as to what happened each day and what he was doing to make sure we got a quality job. He was clearly very sensitive to his customers needs and concerns and did a great job in communicating what when and where things would happen during the painting process. The end result is excellent including some really spectacular repairs that made the damaged areas appear as though nothing had happened. Very high quality work. We were delighted with the quality, service, attitude and price. Well done!
