Sims Masonry

Matt did a great job on the rebuild of our brick pillar - in fact it looks better than it's mate on the opposite side of the driveway. If someone hits the other one with their commercial van, I'll definitely give Matt a call! He was very nice, professional, and once he started the project he did not leave until it was finished. I highly recommend Sims Masonry for any masonry work!

I talked to a few masonry companies and either no one showed up or one guy just didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Matt at Sims was the opposite of all of that: an honest guy doing an honest job in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. He was communicative and friendly--this shouldn't be an exception, but for some reason it is!

I had about six different masonry people come and look at our chimney, which was leaking. Sims Masonry did a beautiful job, because he had to remove bricks, which most of the masonry companies I talked to said, "Oh no, you can't remove any bricks. You're going to have to tear down the whole thing." One company said I would have to rip it down and rebuild it for $10,000.00. We could not afford that. Other companies said they couldn't do it, because the fireplace would just all fall apart. Sims was the only one that was reasonable, spent a lot of time talking about it and the options. And the beauty of it was he broke everything down, so I could make my choices about what to do first and then maybe wait to do something else, when we could afford the next step. He did just a bang up job on it. He made it secure. He put the sealer on after matching the bricks. He sent for the matching bricks, which were from the 1970's. So, they were very hard to get. They just paid a lot of attention to detail.
