My pregnant wife was out of town this week and I wanted her to come home to a clean house. I called May Day Cleaners and they were great about fitting me into their schedule on short notice. Even though my house was in a state of semi mild chaos, they did a great job of cleaning the place and making it look inviting for my wife's return. They even made it smell clean when we walked in the door.

She comes every two weeks and takes about 4 hours. Here are the things I like most about Rachel, aside from the fact that she is a very good cleaner.
*She is extremely reliable; over the years, she has been ill twice and had to cancel for other reasons maybe three times; in all cases, she arranged to come in within a few days, rather than making me wait for my next regular appt.
*She is happy to take on extra projects when asked.
*She takes criticism extremely well, thanking me for letting her know if she's missed something.
*She's proactive: she notes household problems that I haven't and suggests solutions.
*She's a delight to deal with, a very sweet, sympathetic person--she doesn't stand around talkling about her problems (a very refreshing change from some previous cleaners) but is charming when I initiate conversation.
