I worked with Julie. Delightful, intelligent, and kind. That being said, I've had several issues, and feel she was in it for the commission. She neglected to order the wires to connect the blinds to an A/C power source. It takes twelve AA batteries for each blind. I have three. The wired connection was a must. When she came to measure my windows for the blinds, she wore heavy, clunky boots inside. Shoes are not allowed. I just decided to suck it up. However, the second time she came into my house, Wally was here installing the blinds, she again wore her boots inside. Walking past everyone else's shoes for a second time. She lacked the courtesy to remove her shoes. I have hardwood floors and hate the dents left by her footwear. Inconsiderate. Jean Luc is the savior. His professionalism is amazing. The blinds themselves, well two have been replaced due to poor manufacturing. A third one is not good and Jean Luc is coming tomorrow to check what is the best way to remedy the issue. I am sure there are people here who are excellent at what they do. I read reviews about Julie and they are amazing. My experience with her was bad. I feel Lorraine's Window Coverings is a great place. I wish I had the experience others did. Lorraine has not reached out once. I spoke to her briefly on the phone during the installation. I asked for her to call me back, but she had Julie reach out. Probably hoping Julie could make it better. Julie was unable to smooth it over. In my opinion. Lorraine should have followed up personally. Because she has not, the 2-star review I would give becomes a one-star.

Excellent advice and installations. Original installations were in 2005. Rita has been a wonderful contact and enthusiastic consultant in follow-up over the years.

Lorraine and her assistant came to our home and did a fabulous job of helping us pick out just the right shades.

They did a great job! They were very professional and accurate in their measurings. I thought they were easy to work with and overall a good company.

I have worked with Rita, the rep for Lorraine's, before, so I was aware of her expertise, and the product quality. We moved to a new home, needed window treatments, and called Rita. I will not use anyone else after working with Rita before. She set up an appointment with us ( and it wasn't a long wait). She listened to what I thought we needed and she looked around the house. Along with her she always brings product books so we narrowed the choices down to three and I picked out my choices of fabric and color for the shades, and slat width and color for the shutters. Rita's recommendations made all the difference in the world. The finished look is so much better than anything I imagined. The products were ordered, and I was given a date of completion and approximate date for install. These dates were right on! The installer was professional and efficient. You won't go wrong with the combination of Lorraine's Window treatments with Rita Gray as your rep. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I had asked that they wait till I called them before they came as the farmers were plowing the fields and the air was very dirty. They came anyway and I was not home. I called and they very willingly agreed to come and wash the windows again when the plowing was done.

Before I discovered Lorraine's I looked at window coverings at Lowe's and Home Depot. I brought home some sample books and became frustrated - especially with tiny little fabric samples which weren't even detachable from the pages. Also, I was afraid my window measurements might be off and any error would have been costly! Rita expertly used a laser measuring device...Installer Tom had all the blinds up within two hours and took the time to be sure I knew how to and quot;operateand quot; them. I chose Honeycomb shades with the top-down and bottom-up feature.

Excellent service. Lorraine is great at what she does and very patient to boot.
