Overall good experience. The tank I wanted was available from their stock locally, so this was a quick turnaround. The new plumbing pipe was installed to my satisfaction. The only issue was that the installer mistakenly set the nominal (to code) temperature incorrectly (higher than it should have been). As I looked through the owners manual for the water tank, it was clear that the manufacturer offers a number of different thermostat styles, and for my tank, the nominal position is different than for other tanks. This was an easy fix for me (turned the dial down). I let the company know by way of a mail-in survey card that they sent after the install.

They did the job - augering out the pipe and the next day they came back and changed out metal pipe for plastic.

I called them with a kitchen plumbing emergency and they were there within an hour. The gentleman was friendly, knowledgable and competent. He had all the parts he needed in the truck. Very pleased!

Excellent experience with these guys from calling on the phone and making the appointment to completion of work by Steve. Steve was professional and did quality work. He didn't mind me watching while he did the work so that in the future I should be able to replace a water heater by myself in the future. My only complaint would be the price. They didn't break the bill down that showed just the price of the water heater but over $1100 total including call out fee, labor, tax, and the permit for just a basic replacement with the minimum 6 year warranty seems kind of pricey. I did have a $40 online coupon which the honored.

I was extremely happy with the repairman. He was very friendly and professional. He was also punctual efficient. Your plumbing compny is the only one I will call in the future.

When Jordan the service tech showed up, the first thing he did was remove his shoes at the door so as not to track mud or dirt into my home. He went to the kitchen and quickly determined that the garbage disposal had hole in it which was causing the leak. He was able to replace the disposal with a newer, more powerful, model. Haven't had a problem with it since. Great company!

We have had a problem with a poorly installed sink/disposal/washing machine drain pipe in our home: it gradually clogs up from accumulated buildup of debris and scum because of extraordinary length and inadequate slope plus too many "ells" in the line. It has been worked on before by other, less satisfactory plumbers. This time, based upon Angie's List recommendations, we called Favinger. What a good experience! Person setting appointment was courteous, informed us of preliminary costs. The plumber, Jason, came earlier than appointment after a phone call to see if convenient for us. He examined the situation, explained the problem, quoted the cost, and then promptly did the work after a trip to the shop to get a bigger machine and a helper. They were careful to protect our floors (took off shoes without asking) and he let me be with him as the reamer and then pressure jet did their jobs: You could hear the flow improve dramatically where the drain reaches the city sewer connection. The price was less than his preliminary quote. The work included more steps and more care than either of the prior companies. When it was done, I arranged for an annual, proper cleanout of this pesky pipe (easier to clean than tear up our house to re-install correctly). They will call annually to remind me to schedule. I have dealt with another firm here that is certainly skilled and qualified, but they normally do bigger industrial jobs, and were less caring about carpets and floors, and less thorough. I will use Favinger in the future, and I will ask for Jason! (He told me they have five plumbers and four apprentices plus two in their office.) I am a fairly knowledgable, veteran homeowner, and found this company to be extraordinary.

I am new to Angie's List so was very pleased to have this resource to refer to when our drains throughout the bottom floor of our home began backing up with disgusting water. I read the reviews and called Favinger. They were courteous and sympathetic and able to get someone to my home within 2 hours. I was not home but the serviceman called me and thoroughly described the problem and the solution and various price points of additional treatments I could add or not. I felt informed and well taken care of. They left the work space neat and tidy. I cannot comment as regards the price because I have not had need of a plumber for a few years. I certainly felt it was more than fair.

My wife and I bought our house unseen but recommended to us by relatives. The Favinger office(Ariana) was very helpful and worked with us to set up an appointment (we moved to Bellingham from Maryland) to repair deficiencies noted by the house inspection. Jordan and Travis did the work. They were very personable and professional. For every item needing repair or replacement, they clearly explained our options. We were extremely satisfied with their work and would recommend Favinger to anyone needing plumbing work.

It went great. They sent two technicians, both were professional and polite. They were able to diagnose and repair the problem in just a few minutes. I am very happy and would definitely do business with them again.

They were here on time, very courteous, finished the work in about 1 1/2 hrs. and explained what needed to be done.

We were gardening this weekend and when I went to get water on the back patio - there was none, SO, I called Favinger (the only plumber that anybody should use). I requested Jordan again and he and his assistant were out first thing this morning. He knew immediately what it was and he attempted to fix it from the outside, however, it had split and he had to cut an access entry from the laundry room. It was a very neat and precise job and he put a very nice panel over the space (you do not even notice it). He even vacumed behind the washer - thanks it was needed. When he was done, in less than an hour, he went to the front outlet to check that. He fine tuned that and told me how to prevent damage in the future. It means more than just sticking up a foam cup. Thank you once again Favinger. You are fantastic people with whom to work. To top it off, the bill was much less than I thought it would be - guess I am still used to "plumbers" I used before discovering Favinger. If anybody has noticed that I have written other reviews - NO, I am not a member of the family. They would be a wonderful family to be part of. Their business ethics, professionalism and friendliness are unequaled in any other company with whom I have dealt.

They did a good job. They have responded each time very quickly. They were very prompt. I would recommend them to others. I thought the prices were fair. They charged about $200 on two visits and one was about $300. Plumbers are always expensive.

They were the company that was able to come out the soonest and work around my time schedule. They took care of the problem right away. They were very friendly and knowledgable. I had a problem and called them back out. They problem was not part of what they worked on before and they fixed it for free anyway.

I would recommend them. They actually had the part on the truck and were able to fix it right away.

Very quick installment approximately 2 hours. Works great... Had a follow up visit because we had a few questions. Otherwise we're happy with the installation.

Yes, Iam back again writing about the plumber that ANYBODY should use. We had a rusty pipe that went from my gas meter into our home. We called Cascade Gas, since we assumed they would be of some help or be concerned. Basically, they blew me off indicating that they wanted nothing to do with it and to call a plumber. I would have been angry, however, I knew there was nobody else to call but Favinger. I really like and TRUST them. They have proven so worthy of my TRUST, many times prior to this. They were scheduled for 1:00 PM and they arrived - as always- exactly on time. Jordan went to the side of the house and looked at the pipe and when I arrived he told me that he could cut the current one off and replace with a new one, but that it would get rusty again and there was really nothing wrong with the current one. HOW HONEST IS THAT??!!! Has anybody out there ever experienced this from a plumber/trade person? As I have said before, I have had many experiences with plumbers before Favinger. NONE of them has been pleasant, including the bozo who plumbed this house. I knew nothing about Favinger before moving to Bellingham. If I had, I would have insisted that the contactor hire them. I wish they could be cloned so that more people in other areas could experience their way of doing business or that Art and Polly would write a book on their business ethics. The industry would be a far better place with their influence. In closing, I would like to say, again, THANK YOU JORDAN, once again! Thank you also for your education on water heaters. An exceptional job! Evaluation and estimate done very professionally and he provided good advice during the process. Had some difficulty obtaining the exact fixtures that we wanted for the shower, but finally procured same and kept us closely informed about progress while doing so. The actual work went very smoothly and quickly once materials were procured except for one episode of a large water leak due to failure of a plug (not Favinger's fault) and the water was dealt with effectively with dryers, at no additional cost to us, so that no damage was done. The project has been completed for over 18 months now and we remain delighted with the results, the process of getting it done, the quality of workmanship, the spotless clean-up after the project was completed, and the price. Favinger will be our first choice for any plumbing needs in the future.

Had a bad leak under my kitchen sink. Arriana answered the phone and said someone would be out between 12:30 and 1:30. Told me up front about the $39.50 service call. She called later to let me know the plumber was on his way. Jordan diagnosed the problem right away. A loose spray hose on the faucet. Omar got under the sink to test for leaks. Problem solved in less than 5 minutes. I was charged the service call, which I thought was fair. Fast, fair professional. Will call them again.

They are always on time, clean friendly, courteious and work quickly. My overall experience with them was excellent. I will continue to use them in the future.

Both toilets were functional but some times took too long to flush. The service man who arrived declared that one of the toilets could not be repaired and sold her a toilet he had on his truck. I was not there, but since we had been looking for toilets the previous week, I know what she wanted and the toilet they sold to her was not what she wanted. When asked to replace the toilet, Art Flavinger told me he would sell me another toilet. If you want someone who will take advantage of the elderly, Art Flavinger is your man.

I was very happy with the work. The thing I wasn't happy with that is they wouldn't give me a price on what they charge for labor. They said the man would tell me when they get there but I normally like to compare. They got here and I'm out in the country so it was $100 off the top for travel, they have a $25 off coupon in the paper. When the guy got there he said he's make the estimate and it was $300 more. If I had known in advance then I could compare and I could have gone with another plumbing company. He did a good job and he was nice but they really didn't give me a chance to compare. The reviews on Angie's List said they were reasonable so I was trusting that it was but it wasn't that reasonable. I'd say I'm happy with the quality of work but not happy with the openness of the charge. They could say they are on the high end but make it up in service, but they didn't say that. I think they were about $100 more than another company would charge. I had the parts, it wasn't complicated just replacing a faucet. There was something I asked him to do and he didn't do it, I think he forgot.
