Fat guy came out and replaced an igniter and charged me $240. Furnace went out again the next winter and it was the pressure switch. Guy jiggled the stuff around and it started without him replacing or cleaning anything, just jiggling and banging. That was another $200 and a promise that since he didn't really do anything that if the furnace went down again in the next 6 months he'd diagnose for free. Sure enough, it went out again 6 weeks later and he reneged on his deal. Said he'd come out and replace a blower for $390 even though that might not be the problem and he'd work his way up via process of elimination and if the $390 service didn't fix it he'd do a $700 service and if that didn't fix it then ... he'd take the rest of my money. When I heard this I looked up the price of a new furnace and it was $500. I told the guy jump in a lake. These guys are gypsies. Stay away, far away.

My 3 year furnace quit working. I call Dynamic, they were not the original installers. They were there when they promised, quickly identified the problem and found that the part was still under warrantee. The part arrived the next day. They scheduled a time to reinstall the part and were there as promised. The technicians were friendly and identified the costs upfront

This company originally wanted to sell me a $1200 service contract and install a top-of-the-line plumbing fixture in a 20-year-old manufactured home. Then the tech decided that, due to the configuration of my plumbing, he couldn't install that fixture anyway. If I bought a fixture myself and asked them to install it, the price was $1800. They doubted the fixture was made anymore. The problem was a dripping tub faucet. Most of the discussion centered around a complete remodel of my bathroom because mobile home fixtures are cheap and made of plastic (duh-h-h). I found an excellent local young man through calling mobile home manufacturers, who was able to do the job for less than $500 (as all my advisors said it should). And he fixed it today.
Description of Work: I called, a tech came promptly, acted professionally, charged a fee to show up (pretty typical), and I sent them away because the price to fix a dripping faucet was outrageous.

There was an urgency of work done. After she ran it under her insurance company it took over a year. They were wanting three times what the insurance company would cover but also what average plumber would have done. It turned out to be quite a fiasco. There was a major mess financially. They did the work, they were responsive, quick, and on the job but were very elusive as far as their pricing.
Description of Work: I used Martin Plumbing & Heating for plumbing service. They took care of a pipe leak for a girl that I take care.

I believe that we were overcharged, and the plumber should never have left the mess under the house. The advertise that decontamination is one of their services. They created contamination! The plumber was not prepared with a flashlight, nor bucket for waste water. Yes, the pipe is clean and we can flush our toilet, but I bet there are other companies who would be much more professional for the money.
Description of Work: A plumber who works for Martin Plumbing and Heating came to unplug our drains. He investigated the problem and gave us a quote of $450 to complete the job. He said this was the minimal charge. We agreed thinking there was a big plug in the line. The plumber completed his task, but didn't even bring a flash light or bucket with him, which left the sewage water and toilet paper laying under the house in the crawl space in two spots; one where he cut the line and the other where he pulled the plug out. This took him less than an hour. Our final bill which includes a response fee and tax was $487.44. We will not be using this company's services again.
