Description of Work: We began remodeling two bathrooms and wanted ceramic tile. We were referred to this company by another contractor. The staff at the store provided exemplary service, patient, friendly, helpful, never pushy. They had a wonderful selection at their showroom to cover any project or price range. We found out later one of the owners helped us initially! They made some suggestions and provided several samples to take home. Additional followup consultations with other staff about selection, types of tile, installation procedures, requests for bids, etc were handled not only professionally, but very friendly, too. They removed some old tile, some old linoleum, repaired a weak/water damaged spot. They did all preparation, removing toilets and trim. When they put these back, they used quality components and not just cheap ring seals. They hauled off all the removed materials. They offered, prior to the contract, for us to do the prep work or to hire another "handyman", but we felt that if they did the prep work, it would be suited to their needs for the final applications/installations. I am so glad we did, because as the old material came off, we discovered several surprises; such as no backer board on the previous tile installations! The company showed us any concerns, discussed solutions, and did not do any "extra" or billable work without first documenting it in writing...in fact, they generally just went ahead and took care of the issue without any charge to us if it was something minor or inexpensive for them to deal with. Well worth the "extra" money. They covered all carpets outside the bathrooms (hallways/stairs/etc) and work areas where there was any traffic to prevent wear or dirt getting into the carpet. They did all their cutting of tiles outside. They cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. The installer was friendly and was more concerned with the quality of the installation than the time to complete it. He was very careful and his work was meticulous. He offered advise on which way to lay the gain/design of the tile when we asked and was willing to discuss each phase of his work. Prior to actually grouting in the tiles, he had us examine the tiles to see if we approved before he finished grouting them into place. They provided a detailed contract, explained the terms, and included business ID numbers and bonding/insurance documents. I cannot speak highly enough of this company...I was very impressed. I worked some in construction as a young man, so while I may not have the experience or tools to do this type of work, I do know when quality work is being done.
