They did an excellent job. Gordon and his team of carpenters are very competent, and they maintain a very high standard of workmanship. 2nd Story Construction performed a major remodeling of my house last year, which transformed it into a beautiful, spacious residence. I was delighted to have them install a new patio door and install/replace the insulation on the front of my house.

They were terrific from start to finish. Gordon developed a beautiful design for the remodel, and Rory, the chief carpenter, and Brandon, his assistant, did an outstanding job in their execution of the plan. Throughout the remodel, they were conscientious, hardworking, meticulous, and attentive to detail. My house is over 100 years old, and when, in the process of their work, they came upon structural problems, they always showed me what they had uncovered and explained the options available to me for addressing the issues. In addition, they made the house as livable as possible during the three-month project. All three were courteous and gracious.

Work done was great, very professional, and done in a timely manner. They are great at cleaning up too.

I was very pleased with the work performed. Gordon made suggestions and recommendations but I still felt very much in control of the design decisions - he just made sure that what I wanted was feasible. He helped me work within my budget for choices on fixtures, tile, etc. I have a very old house so a few strange surprises along the way needed to be solved/worked around. The new parts of the bathroom were seamlessly blended with the old. The work was done pretty efficiently. The final product definitely met my expectations. I just wish I had hired them two years earlier instead of living with my dysfunctional bathroom for so long!
