The service guys were fabulous, on time, clean and even took of their shoes without having to be asked! They were very careful of everything they did and answered the many questions we had. We ended up spending double what we had planned but that is because we asked them to help us figure out and make sense of the many game players, DVR, DVD and VCR players that we have; it was always a nightmare for us to figure out how to hook them up and make sense of them and for us it was well worth the extra time it took to have the pros do it. We loved the guys who did the work and would recommend this business to everyone.

I was extremely impressed David was able to troubleshoot a surround system audio surround system delay issue for me that three other experts were unable to figure out. He was very thorough and prompt in his follow up communications (e-mails/phone calls). He patiently explained my current media system and how I could improve my HD media experience in the most cost effective way. Based on the quality of their customer service, expertise, and competitive price quote, I will definitely hire Wipliance to perform my future audio video equipment/install needs.

I thought they were very courteous, and they were on time. I did not go with them because I ended up getting a recommendation on another company from a friend.

I worked with Dave to determine my needs for a security and sound system for my home. He was very patient in generating multiple quotes as the intended scope of the work changed. Pete and his team performed the install. They were very pleasant work with, very knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure the work was complete and high quality. Would recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Wipliance was very mixed. The main thing I was looking for was for someone to help me put together a system for home theater and hifi music listening. The advice I got was not very good: the rep kept trying to sell me higher priced components and worst of all, when I researched the recommended components I repeatedly found that they lacked features that I had specifically requested. For example, the recommended projection screen was 4x3 aspect ratio instead of 16x9, and the disc player did not support SACD playback. In the end I lost confidence in him and ended up buying only the speakers from Wipliance---I chose and bought the rest of the components myself elsewhere. The two techs who came to install the speakers were quite different. They listened carefully to me, asked the right questions, and did a great job. For example, they understood that I had specifically used low-gauge wiring for the best audio signal and that I didn't want any wires spliced. When one speaker was not working, someone else came to fix it. He was less competent, and disingenuous to boot. He told me the speaker wasn't working because "they put in some crazy thick wires there that didn't fit in the speaker connector, so I spliced on a higher gauge one" (never mind that the wires were fine in all the other speakers). I asked him a question about wiring the subwoofer, and he gave me the wrong answer (as I found out by reading the manual later). Overall a pretty bad experience and I wouldn't use them again.

This company is the real deal..... no doubt about it! My wife and I have had several experiences with audio/video companies over the last ten years and Wipliance is by far the most professional, knowledgeable, and personable company we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The entire experience went smooth as silk from beginning to end. David Averill was the consultant that helped us with our challenge and he took care of all of our wants and concerns. He knows this industry and we were thrilled with his recommendations. The installation technicians, Pete & Tyler, arrived on the scheduled day on time and spent two days getting everything up and running smoothly. They were friendly, outgoing and definitely know their business. We had them mount two 50" plasmas, a 42" plasma and the 15" HD, plus wire everything to our the stereo and internet. The pricing was better than our other bids and they even did some extra touches for no charge. We recently had them come back to wire our TV remote to our lighting, so I can control everything from my easy chair. We happily refer them wherever possible. Do yourself a favor and have them show you what they do. It's nice to know there are companies like them around to help with this hi-tech equipment. They know their business and above all..... they care! Thanks for everything Wipliance.... Keep up the good work.

Day 1: late start and come home to a mess. Nothing works. No TV. No explanation. Day 2: come home to multiple access holes cut into walls and ceiling; holes cut at 90 degree angle so difficult to patch. Also drilled hole through side of house by accident. Nothing works. Day 3: new guy comes out. Fixes most mistakes of days 1 & 2. Finally, sound. Day 4: call Wipliance about sound transfer from 1st floor to 2nd floor from ceiling speakers. Transfer is astounding due to lack of speaker baffles that should have been recommended by a professional in the first place. Day 6: speaker baffles installed. Sound transfer fixed. During installation of baffles, come to find out center channel speaker is in wrong spot by 3 feet. Cut new hole to move center channel to proper location. Day 9: lip sync issues require yet another visit along with trying to fix miswire of outdoor speaker wires. Installer fixes lip sync but fails to fix outdoor wires. Day 15. All still doesn't work properly. Remote does not control TV. Outdoor speakers don't work. Blarg! Overall, one of the worst experiences I've with a contractor. None of this takes into account the constant upselling by the salesman. Do not recommend use of this company.

Wipliance did a great job planning, estimating and scheduling and completing the work. We wanted the work to be completed by a certain date and they went out of their way just before a holiday to complete everything in a very professional way. They gave us expert advice about equipment purchases and firm estimates. They listened well, understood exactly what we wanted and answered our many questions. Their service was terrific. They stayed within our budget, explained everything thoroughly and made sure all the equipment worked well and looked attractive. Their construction work was quick and very neat. They responded promptly to calls and service checks. We would use them again!

From the start to the end, I was very pleased on the overall service and price. I first found them on Angie's List and decided to call to get an estimate. The service was to be performed at my 2nd home in Seattle and most of the time I live in Shanghai. Wipliance for being open at 7AM worked for me since I am 15 hours ahead in a different time zone. When I called, my call was directed to David Averill. He listened to my request and went out to my home to look and submitted a proposal for a comprehensive system with TV, surround speakers etc... This being my second home, I decided to do the just the speakers for now for music and delay the rest of the system. Doing business over the phone and email was easy and responses are always prompt if I am not able to reach David directly. Since I was going to be in Seattle for only 10 days on this trip, I wanted to the work to be done on the day I arrived. I coordinated with David on the install schedule with no issues despite it was very close to Christmas time. Since I know how services could sometimes go over the initial estimate, so I wanted David to provide a max on the labor portion. On the day of install, the installer Ryan was a bit delayed on another project, but David called me to let me know of the delay which was not a problem. I really appreciated the call so I wasn't sitting around wondering what happened. Ryan showed up with one other person and installed the in-ceiling speakers and set up my remaining equipment in a 2nd room with no issues. They were very neat and did an excellent job to keep the wires straight and used velcro to tie up loose cables. They also cleaned up after themselves so the place was not left in a mess for me to clean up. The system worked perfectly with Sonos running Internet music in my living room and everything neatly stacked on my AV rack. The labor did not take as long as expected and when I brought up the issue with David (since I pre-paid with a credit card early), he credited me the difference immediately. Wipliance is wonderful to work with and when I decide to finish out the remaining system, I will definitely use them again.

Initially things went very well but a month later the customer support follow up has been terrible. I guess once they have your money they don't really need to support their product anymore. In addition, I asked them to quote some stereo/tv work and they tried to sneak things into the qoute that we had not even discussed, call it a bait and switch. Think twice before you hire these people.

They showed up right on time. It went well and I would rate them highly across the board.

Partnership! That is how I would sum up my experience with WiPliance. I am by no means a big job, but I felt like a valued customer every step of the way. I am very pleased with WiPliance, especially Dave and Pete. Great guys who are committed to ensuring you have the right system at a very competitive price with unbeatable installation and technical knowledge.

Outstanding customer service! Lee, Grant and Tyler will very punctual and on time during the entire process. Craftsmanship was excellent. Clean and efficient.

I was very pleased with the mounting of the TV and the installation of the conduit. I did have a problem with the TV being mounted to close to the ceiling that it would not kick out at the bottom allowing me to hook-up additional cables. I contacted my salesman and explained the problem I was having, and he made arangements to come out a couple days latter. As it turns out he was able to make a minor adjustmant to where the TV attached to the mount, effectively lowereing it and solving the problem.

Awesome. This guy is quick. No wasted time. Jerry-rigged a workable ceiling mount when I didn't have just the right one.

The project was in our bedroom and included pulling wire in a ceiling that does not have an attic. The installers were prompt, courteous and neat. We did not have to move out of the bedroom during the project, which took four full days. The install is incredibly clean and all the components interface and work perfectly. Equipment recommendations were right on. They were responsive and scheduled the install to meet my schedule.

Awesome. These guys are some of the best vendors I've ever worked with. They know their stuff, do high quality work, and make it painless. And they are efficient, I think they did it as fast as it could have been done and even came in under estimate. Top notch.

We have not selected a vendor for this project yet but we will not use them as the bid was outrageously high.

I cannot say enough about this company. I discovered them on Angie's List and called them on a Monday or even Tuesday for a "Quatro de Mayo" party on Sunday. They were always prompt, friendly and professional. They encouraged questions (weren't condescending in any way) and made excellent recommendations (e.g. size of flat screen TV, built-in locations, style of tower speakers, etc. They came back twice and got the job done in record time for my party (which was very successful).

I met Lee at the Seattle Home Show. This was the first competent-feeling company I had found that was willing to do low-voltage wiring in an existing finished condo. As I talked with Lee, I realized home many of my problems I could solve with these guys, and I added more and more to the tasks. Lee and his associates, Ryan and Dominic, were smart, courteous, neat, prompt, and provided good communications and recommendations. Scheduling for me was very flexible and, to get on the calendar sooner. I was willing to be a "fill-in" job for them during quiet weeks. I do realize this means my experience schedule-wise may not be typical. They are very busy. Even so, I was impressed that they were always able to come once they'd committed to a given day.

They did a good job and were very professional. Everything is working just fine. I have just one complaint and that is the charges. I understood what the hourly fee would be and they charged me accordingly for that. They charged me an extra $75 charge for their traveling fee. I don't think I should have to pay for that. I wasn't told about that fee up front and did not know that was what my money was paying for. I'm totally satisfied except for that. They did call and ask if everything was satisfactory, however, at that point I had not received the bill. I wouldn't hire them again with their trip charge still in place, however if they loose that, I would use them again. I called Wipliance LLC on 12/11/2007 and they were understanding and very nice about removing the $75.00 trip charge.

They did a great job. They didn't leave any holes at all in my wall, and the quality of the work they did was simply spectacular. They did so much work, and it was done fast and in a very professional way.
