I asked them if I could save money by meeting their truck, rather than them coming to my home. They said yes, and I met them in the neighborhood at another call. It took about 20 minutes, and was very easy.

They installed high quality screens on my front door and back French Doors back in 2009. The Fr Doors now have a tool that allows me to open one side with one hand instead of having to set everything (i.e. plates, glasses etc) down to use two hands to open the French door screens. They are installing this new adapter at no charge to me 8 yrs later. Pretty good.

They were right on time, they called before they came. Very professional, polite and friendly. It only took about a half hour and I had a new custom sliding screen door. They're a little pricey, but their work is clearly superior to anything you would buy at a home improvement store. I highly recommend them.

Excellently! The office kept me informed about the time that the team would arrive. When onsite, they asked me a few questions about exactly where and how I wanted the Mirage door installed, fabricated the parts in their truck, and installed the door without a hitch. (They also repaired a small window screen.) Moreover, they noticed that the frame of the screen in a storm door was bowed...so they fixed it on their own initiative--for free.

Hunter and Micah were a little late due to traffic, but called to let me know. When they showed up the were very polite and professional. I showed them the "definite" replacements and asked a couple of questions about a couple of "if's". They got started working on the windows in their mobile truck, and the job went so smoothly. I love the results - it looks like I have entirely new windows! I upgraded the mesh and you can hardly tell there are screens on the windows. They are so bright and airy, I wish I had done this sooner! Thanks Hunter and Micah for a wonderful job well done!

Hunter was scheduled to arrive at 10am and proactively called me at 9:55am to say he'd be about 15 minutes late because of traffic. I appreciated the heads up. He had the work order I had previously communicated via email to the company. We reviewed the work and he went to it, completing the manufacture and installation of all 6 screens in 2 hours. The workmanship was very good, considering he had to work with storm window frames that were a little bowed in places and were not equal in width across the different windows. He installed extra retainer clips because I wanted extra reinforcements to keep the screens in place: we have an indoor cat that likes to lean up against the screens when the windows are open. Hunter was very polite, pleasant, and professional. I would definitely use Screenman again.

Seemed fine, but now the screens are trouble again. We are getting the windows professionally washed for the first time since the new screens were installed on 8/22/2014 (last year, 2015, we had a death in family to deal with, so window cleaning put on hold.). We're now scheduled to have the windows cleaned in July, so I decided to remove the screens and clean them myself since I've had trouble in the past with Professional Window Washers poking holes in screens to get to the windows. Anyway. The one and only screen I have removed was very difficult to re-install and I still have it sitting beneath the kitchen window. The fancy recommended soft plastic lift tabs ....broke. The screen is wonky, bending itself by twisting slightly, and when I started to reinstall, it kept twisting itself rather than staying square and I cannot get it back in. I don't know how to explain it but I'll try. The screen will not stay square.....it keeps snapping, two opposite corners bend inward. Because our kitchen is on the main level of a Daylight basement three story house, I cannot stand outside of the window to try to put it in from the outside, without a tall ladder. When I called Screenman Inc for help last week, they offered to come out for a $69.00 fee (because they were built and installed almost 2 years ago.) I will pay the fee if there is not any defect, of course, and if I did something wrong to break the tabs (which I did not!). I just felt so funny about being charged a service fee for a defective product. They may decide not to charge it when they see what's going on....but I'm not so sure they will. I have not yet scheduled them. This will be the second time they had to re-do this particular screen....I'm hesitating because of the $69. I told them I would wait to schedule them closer to the time the windows will be washed.... Our original screens ( which we still have two of) have lasted 29 years! I've lived here for 27 of those years and those screens have survived me....so I'm just frustrated that the fancy new Screenman Inc. screens are breaking already after less than 2 years. and having not been touched during that time at all, by anyone. If I do have them come in I will update this feedback and let you know how it goes. I would think there is some sort of guarantee on their work, and will read through any paperwork I was given....SO ANYWAY......THANKS FOR LISTENING....just want to help others understand what you may go through with this particular product. I see their ratings are great.....but at first it seems very wonderful.....and a year or two later you start to notice problems that were probably there all along........it's frustrating to have to go online and do another review like this....so I understand and almost didn't myself.....but my conscience got the better of me....people to need to know what they are buying.

Jose and Rich were great! They were punctual, professional and quick. I could not believe how fast they measured, built and hung the new screens. And the quality is great! They rock! I would totally recommend them.

Scott and Hunter were great! Screenman called the day before to remind us of our appointment. Scott called with a 15-minute heads up the day of the appointment and arrived on time. Both Scott and Hunter are upbeat and courteous. The really awesome part is their creative ingenuity. We have four patio doors that weren't made to have screens but they were able to retrofit screens that work beautifully. We have an old jalousie window that opens with a lever which also wasn't made to have a screen. We've had birds fly thru the open jalousie window. They made a small framed screened door within the screen so we can open the door to open/close the jalousie window. Brilliantly and beautifully done. They went above and beyond. Their work ethic is notable and the finished products are beyond my expectations. We would definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them to anyone needing screen repair, replacement or design and construction. Thanks guys. It was a pleasure meeting you.

I normally hate paying for something that can often be done yourself but after two failed attempts at installing a "universal fit" screen door I decided to give these guys a shot. The screen door they installed was perfect. It was very heavy duty but slid effortlessly. It looked much better than even the original I had in there all these years. They took some quick measurements, then went back to the vehicle to custom construct the door which only took about 15 - 20 minutes. The installation probably took about another 10. I was very happy with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

The team were responsive, arrived on time, and were courteous and professional. They also looked to repair existing screens where possible, rather than building new screens, saving me money. I asked for a new screen to be built while they were repairing the others, this was an additional request made while they were on site, and they were able to do this immediately. I will have no hesitation in using Screenman again should the need arise.

Ron and Scott were available ahead of what was scheduled and so they called if they could come in earlier. They called again once they were leaving from their previous customer, letting me know exactly when they would arrive. Once they came, they immediately took their shoes off even without asking and proceeded to scope out the job. Then they went to work to manufacture the screens in their truck parked just outside my house. Overall, they were curious, professional, and quick. I inspected the screens and they look great. I selected the company because of their positive reviews on Angie's List, and Ron and Scott truly delivered. This was an exceptional experience for me as a customer. What a great company! Because of the warmer weather this summer, it took a bit longer to get booked, but it was worth the wait. From the person I spoke with to schedule an appointment, to the man (Hunter) who did the work, everybody was very professional, polite and personable. Hunter was punctual and very knowledgeable about the product & services. Everything is accomplished on-site in a short amount of time. I have used this company before at prior locations and would definitely use them again if the need arises. Highly recommend!

Not well. He made the screens too small. He was supposed to make them to fit and be installed from the inside. Instead they made them to fit and be installed from the outside. They don't fit properly. When I contacted them to let them know they wanted to charge another $65 for them to come back out.

Arrived on time and started working. Turned out that the box labelled "right door" actually contained a second left door. The team left to pick up a "real" right door, and after completing their other appt for the day returned and worked late to get the screens installed. I've been enjoying my new screens all weekend. Justin and Rich did a great job!

I have used Screenman several times and have always been quite pleased, despite their priciness. This time, I had six windows screens and a patio slider that needed new screens, mainly due to cat damage. One screen had to be replaced entirely as the cat had broken the frame trying to get out. As always, Scott arrived on time and worked quickly, and the results were great (but..). I briefly debated getting the heavier pet mesh, but it costs a lot more and really detracts from the view, so I went with the usual mesh. The next day (today), I was cleaning the windows and saw they had installed black pull tabs (handles) on three of them (six tabs total). Argh! My screen frames, window frames, and casings are all white, and the pull tabs have always been clear. I didn't even know there were black tabs, and Scott didn't tell me he used something different. The black tabs are quite noticeable and unsightly. So I called Screenman, and they said they no longer use clear tabs (?!?!?! most window frames are white!), and that Scott said some of my clear tabs were missing (not true!) so he replaced then with black ones. I'm pretty p***** and so far they don't want to do anything about it. If indeed they are only using black tabs going forward, they will no longer have my screening business, esp. as they swapped out my existing clear tabs without my consent. :(
