We just bought our first house and had no furniture. The house has an open floor plan with some challenging structural elements. We went to the Seattle location and met with a designer there. He came up with a great plan and color scheme. The furniture was delivered in the quoted time frame. We love the look of our furniture and more important, it is comfortable! We are very happy.

I went to the Bellevue location of this store 2 or three times before someone actually attempted to help me. She said she was a "designer" and when I requested a floor plan for the living room, she agreed to do one. After 2 weeks and several phone calls, she acknowledged that she didn't know how to do one! At that point, I decided to go to other stores for our furniture. About a year later, I still needed some pieces for my home and because I liked the furniture I had seen there, I returned to the store. This time, I approached a different designer for help. Initially, she was helpful, however, when I attempted to express my opinions about her suggestions she was rudely dismissive, so much so that my spouse called her a bully. We switched sales people and proceeded to place a large order with a different sales person. The first 2 pieces came but with the wrong finish. They fixed the finish and we are pleased with the pieces. When the next piece came, it was the wrong size so we did not accept delivery. When it became apparent that the store would not fix their error, we requested a refund. During a phone call about the situation, the owner of the store was insulting and demeaning and demonstrated no sense of customer service. It took a threat to avail ourselves of all the consumer protections available to us in the state before the owner was willing to refund our money. We will never shop there again.

AFTER AN ONSITE VISIT AT OUR HOUSE AND NUMEROUS CONSULTATION SESSIONS AT SCHOENFELDS OUR DESIGNER WORKED UP A LAYOUT FOR THE LIVING ROOM, AND PROVIDED A PALETTE OF COMPLIMENTARY WOODTONES, FABRICS AND COLORS. WE SELECTED OUR FURNITURE AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE LAYOUT AND LOOK.
