Description of Work: Rainer showed up on time as promised and replaced the overhead door spring that had broken in two. They installed a new center bearing plate and lift cables. I thought the price was reasonable. I thought the price was very reasonable for the amount of time required and new parts. Robert was friendly, professional and did the work perfectly. I've used other garage door companies in the past but will only call Rainier Garage Door the next time I need any kind of repair or replacement parts. They were great!

Description of Work: Rainier was very prompt in making appt and the technician was courteous and professional for this garage door tuneup. He tightened hardware and replaced rollers exactly as described in the offer. Garage door was amazingly smooth and quiet afterwards -- for about a week. Then suddenly started making clanking noises again. I intended to contact Rainier about it, but was sidetracked by some critical family issues, and after a few months, felt I had waited too long to expect them to do anything about it. Door still works -- just sounds as cranky as it was before the service was done!

They said I didn't need to make an appointment, that I could just call and they would come the next day, which they did. They work neatly and professionally. They explained the operation of the doors. It was a good experience.

I called Rainier Garage Door when they opened and Jason was able to come out at 1:00pm that day. Jason was right on time and it took him about 40 minutes to do the job. Professional and honest.

 + -1 moreOverall this was a good experience. I was not happy with some of the pricing surprises though. I had warned them when they estimated the job that we were having work done and the ceiling would be lowered. They didn't seem to think that was a problem. But, when they came out to do the job, they said it was and had to charge an additional amount to cover the special demands of the low ceiling. Although this way a little aggravating, I would still use them again, since they did quality work and they were punctual and professional.
Description of Work: Ranier installed a 2 car, automatic steel garage door for me. They removed my old wooden doors.
