Rainier Garage Door

Slightly late but explainable and he called. Quick, within the 30 minutes included in a service call fee.

It was 9 in the morning and my garage door wouldn't close and after inspecting it, found out the bracket was tearing away from the door. I couldn't wait to get it fixed as the damage would have been more costly and to make matters worse, I was leaving for a long weekend the next morning. I called Rainier, was given an estimate over the phone and the repairman (Doug) was here by noon. He made some recommendations on my other garage door opener (which had also been acting up) but I never felt like I was being 'sold' or pressured to buy more services. I was very pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and thorough work. I even received a 10% Angie's List member discount. Rainier had the top rating in this category, and I can certainly see why. This was my first experience as a new Angie's List member and I'm very pleased. I won't hesitate to use Angie's List again =)

It was awesome. I called about the problem yesterday, and Jason was out on time today to fix it. That in itself is impressive! When he got here and assessed the situation and it turnd out that my garage door from 1984 is eventually going to need to be replaced. He simply pointed out the condition of each part, explained in detail how stuff was probably going to start to deteriorate, and then offered me options. There was no upsell, he just did what we needed to do to get it working again. When the door finally does give out, Rainier will be on the top of my list for repairs.

My garage door wouldn't open on a Sunday afternoon about 4 PM. I called Rainier not expecting them to be answering on a Sunday, but they did. By 6 PM or shortly thereafter, my spring had been replaced and parts oiled and door ready to go! I was thrilled with the service. I strongly recommend this company.

They were real good. They were very informative and came when they said they were going to come. They did a good job.

I called on Friday morning and was told their basic charge was $79 for a service call, which includes 30 minutes work time, and that most problems could be resolved in that time. They had an appointment available that afternoon. The technician arrived on time and went to work. When finished he showed me that the original installer had failed to disable the door locking mechanism (unnecessary with an electric garage door opener), and attempts to open the garage door with the lock half engaged had caused the cable to jump its track. He showed me how he had disabled the lock mechanism, and how I could re-enable it if the garage door opener develops a problem and the lock is needed. The work was accomplished within the 30 minute minimum service call period. Technician was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I was very happy with the work, and will definitely call Rainier again should any other garage door problems occur.

GREAT! From the initial phone call (fabulous lady, sorry I don't remember her name (Becky??) - she was so friendly & knowledgeable it was absolutely refreshing!) I received service the next day. Doug arrived on time with the exact product I needed and tools to complete the job beyond my satisfaction. He also extended me a 10% discount as an Angie's List member, although that is supposed to apply to cash/check payments only and I used my credit card. The policy was overlooked during my initial phone conversation but he didn't question it which was nice.

Doug was there within 2 hours of the time I first called to make an appointment--now that's fast service! He arrived within the time window I was given, replaced the roller into the track, bent the track to prevent it from popping out again, and then lubricated all the rollers and tightened all screws on the door. There is a second garage door on the property, and so while he was there he checked it out as well for proper functioning, lubricating and tightening screws. I received a 10% angieslist discount, and the cost was exactly what I had been told upon calling and making the appointment. I was quite satisfied with the service and would most certainly recommend this company.

Called on a Monday morning and a service provider was at my house within three hours (and within the one-hour window I was told to expect). The technician was named Doug (to give credit where credit is due). He quickly made the repair - and was kind enough to explain why my attempts to fix it myself were doomed. Not much else to say: he was professional and did a good job.

Very well. Jason provided us a detailed estimate and showed us our options and made it easy to understand. When we decided to go with Rainier Jason was able to schedule us in the same week. Juan showed up promptly at 9:00 in the morning and was busy installing our doors and openers until almost 6:00. He was very courteous and did a great job overall. The area was very clean when he left and the garage doors looked great. He explained to us how to use the keyless entry and other openers. He was cheerful and nice to have on the job but more importantly he did a great job installing our doors. I will recommend this company in the future.

Got them to come out the next day to give me a good quote. No hard sales pitch- very informative with good explanation and options. I chose the Amarr fully steel enclosed doors and the Liftmaster Elite (battery abckup) openers. I got similar quotes from 2 other places but felt most comfortable with this company. The installer took all day to install it- did a great job- and cleaned up well after. Taught us how to use the system. Doors working great- looking great. Would highly recommend them

The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He took time to diagnose the problem and then fixed the garage opener's gear box. In addition, the technician adjusted the the door alignment and replaced a few parts, which were causing the door to malfunction.

Perfectly. Called them Saturday morning to look at door that hadn't worked in months. Previously told both doors had to be rebuilt at a cost of $1,000 plus from one of their competitors. Had been shopping for new doors and decided to give Rainier a call. They diagnosed the problem as bearings in the pulleys right away and quoted a more than reasonable price. They replaced all four pulleys (two doors), adjusted the door openers, repaired the chain drive rail, tested and inspected both doors and were done in about 1 hour. Jason was very thorough and professional and provided me with a lot of basic info on garage doors. We recently moved into the house from one that didn't have a garage so I didn't have a great deal of knowledge. I will be calling them from now on.

With in two and a half hours after my initial call, the work had been completed! This company does everything right! I have never had better service from any company. They offer first class service in all respects. Jason asked me where I had heard about his company. I mentioned Angie's List and he volunteered that I was eligible for a 10% discount. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a refreshing experience.

Jason came out just to replace a broken spring. However, after performing a thorough inspection of the springs and door tracks he found several deficiencies with the biggest being undersized springs for the weight of the door (a solid wood custom door). Jason provided a quote ($500) to replace the broken spring and add an additional spring to ensure enough tension to properly raise and lower the door. This quote also included re-greasing the bearings on the rollers and testing the tracks for alignment and clearance. Once the work on the springs was complete (which took longer to complete due to the door being a custom width and height providing minimal clearance for the spring bar), Jason set upon the rollers. As he started to pull the rollers and test the bearings he found several with loose or even missing bearings which was creating additional stress on the springs (and the opener). He also found found loose lag bolts on the tracks creating alignment issues. Jason fixed all the issues with the tracks and rollers and even waited for me to finish hooking up the new garage door opener to ensure everything worked properly. The biggest surprise (and delight) in performing all this work, was Jason's commitment to his original cost estimate even though he ended spending almost three hours more to perform all the work than he initially figured. Needless to say, I am totally satisfied with not only his work, but his word, which in this day of shoddy service means even more. The bottom line is that I can confidently recommend Rainier Garage Door - and especially Jason - to not only do the job right, but stand by their word for both cost and quality.

I called Rainier Garage Door on Monday a.m., figuring it would be a couple of days before anybody could get back to me. Becky (office manager) assured me they did not want me to be inconvenienced for long and scheduled Jason for Monday evening. His arrival was on-time, he explained our options in detail, and he completed the work we authorized within an incredibly short period of time.

Awesome. I called on Friday at 5:30pm and he was at my house the next day at 1:30. Very prompt. Very quick at his work. Jason is a very nice guy and responsive.

When I called, the office was very helpful. They fully explained what a service call included, what I should expect and the pricing. I even got a same day appointment! Rainier was very thorough and detailed in their visit. Not being a garage door expert, they really spent the time to show me the good and the bad of what we had. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any product from these guys. They were very knowledgeable, cleaned up after themselves, did exactly what I wanted and all for the price they quoted me on the phone - there were no unpleasant surprises!

We called at ~12:30 PM and they were at the house by 2PM (having committed to arriving sometime between 2-3:30 PM). When Jason arrived, he conscientiously explained his approach and how long it would take. He was done within 40 minutes and tested the door to show that all was working properly. The job was completed within the promised time frame and estimate, and Jason was knowledgeable, professional and personable. We highly recommend Rainier Garage Door.

I called Jason at the office and he had a technician, Doug, available within 1 - 2 hours. Doug arrived on time, did his work, showed me how things worked, explained different things about garage doors (I'm thinking about replacing the existing one), and left in just over 1/2 hour.

We gave them a call and they were able to come out in an hours time. After looking at the hardware, he suggested that we save time and money and have both of the sets of hardware replaced. I didn't expect that, but I appreciated saving money down the road.

My boyfriend was at home during the service call. He let me know the service technician arrived promptly and removed the old door, tracks and springs. The job lasted about 7 hours. After he was done the service technician left the space immaculate. I would definitely use this company again.

They were prompt, they did the work quickly, they were pleasant and I would recommend them to others. We plan to use them again in the future.

It went well - I'm pleased with the door and its operation. My only concern is that I wasn't told in advance that they charge an additional 2% for payments made with a credit card, nor was that indicated on the estimate.
