Visited the showroom and salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. After choosing the doors and openers we wanted they came out and installed them in one day. Doors look great and work great. The whole process was incredibly easy. Definitely recommend them to anyone getting new garage doors.

The whole experience was very good from the moment we went into their showroom in Bellevue to the final installation. The pricing was clear and transparent and the service very straight forward. At no time did I feel under any pressure to buy yet they still managed to remain conciseness in their approach. The installers were excellent and made a point of getting my input on location of the garage opening panels etc and after they were done swept out the garage and left it very clean and tidy.

Friendly, informative and arrived at the beginning of the appointment window rather than the end. Very appreciative of this. Really excellent service and I cannot be anything but completely enthusiastic about recommending this company.

Outstanding service! When I called to schedule the service they extremely friendly and helpful. They had an opening the next day and scheduled a two hour window. The tech showed up promptly at the front of that window did an outstanding installation job. Although I was not home he walk my family through the operation of the opener and assisted them in setting up the phone app that supports the opener. I would use them again. I never knew a garage door could be so quiet!

Very pleased with the company. We had our car with the garage door remote stolen and were worried about our safety. The company was very sympathetic and were able to squeeze us into their schedule. Robert is very knowledgeable and did his work very efficiently. He taught us a number of things about our garage doors that we never knew. Very pleasant to deal with. I had an excellent experience with Rainier Garage Door. All the great reviews that they have received on Angie's List are certainly well deserved. My experience with Rainier Garage Door began with a visit to their showroom in Bellevue. I really appreciated that they had a physical location where I could see their products and talk with someone in person. Jason was great in taking the time to answer all my question about the products and services they offered. There was no sales pressure at all, which I certainly appreciated. But Jason was very informative, and by the time we were done talking, I knew that I had found the right product and installation company. RC, our installation technician, did an outstanding job for us. We had a somewhat challenging installation due to the heavy weight of our wood garage door, which required an unusually strong set of torsion springs. RC took the extra time to make sure that he was using the correctly sized set of torsion springs for our door (something that a different company had previously failed to do). He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. He was patient in answering all of my questions. And he even offered to install an extra set of door handles that my wife wanted to have attached. The LiftMaster Elite that we purchased has worked perfectly for us. It's amazing just how much quieter this device is compared to our old garage door opener. My wife and I are very happy both with the opener itself and the installation service. In my view, Rainier Garage Door is a quality company that offers quality products. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

This is the 3rd time we have used Rainier Garage Doors, and I would not hesitate to call them again. This time I had scheduled a technician because a part had broken. Jason explained the unit was old and the broken part unavailable, but offered me several cost effective solutions. When my husband returned from his business trip, he told me he had spare parts from a kit he had bought many years ago. He and my son got the new part was installed, but I wanted a professional to tweek it correctly. I found a special which was for a tune up and new rollers. The technician came out and did exactly that, explaining he had corrected the J-arm setting to allow the door to fully open, tightened all the bolts on the track, seated the cover over the motor and made sure everything was working correctly. I was extremely impressed with his thoroughness of explanation and with the professionalism of the service.

The installer was able to setup and program the new garage door installer just fine. The garage was pre-wired for the optical sensors, the wall plate, and the garage door unit, but the wiring was not labelled, and the tech indicated that there was no way to wire the system together using the installed wiring (CAT-5). I know, CAT-5 isn't probably standard wiring for garages, but it was a new build and I had just moved in. The tech finished the install with wires taped to the ceiling and the wall. While operational, I did not consider the job complete. After some time considering things, I realized a voltmeter and a battery could trace the wires. Instead of calling the company back, I just finished the install myself since it took less than an hour. The garage unit turns out to have a defective light bulb socket, so only one of the two lights turn on at all.

Excellent service, would use them again but thinking the new system should last us quite a while.

Our garage door openers were 25 years old. The hardware was worn and outdated. Initially we hoped to service the hardware, but it was quickly evident, when the service rep finished his inspection, that we would need to replace all 3 door units. The service rep showed us where our current units were failing and explained our options. He was able to acquire new units and install them the same day. The new openers added new functionality to our garage including automatic lighting, time & temperature readouts, and they were so amazingly quiet. Quite a change from our old, creaky, cranky and unreliable units. The service rep was very knowledgeable, polite and professional.

Repair was fine. Other work was suggested, but we opted not to have it done at this time. The problem came with the bill. I had called to schedule the appointment yesterday, and they did a great job getting us into the schedule quickly. But I asked to confirm the value of the 10% off coupon was for the $259 price quote for a double spring repair. The coupon states "10% off service call" so, I wanted to check and verify what exactly was going to be discounted. The person I talked to on the phone said that it would be off the $259 price. Turns out it wasn't - it was off the $89 portion of that which was the service call. I'm not opposed to working coupons like that, but I'm frustrated that I was misquoted. I was told it was a new person answering the phones, and that's find. But if you're going to advertise that you're on angie's list (and well scored on angie's list), you need to make sure your employees (especially the ones dealing with pricing) are up to date on the procedures and policies of your company.

The service technician was extremely professional and punctual. He came early in the morning with his tools/supplies and finished the job in less than an hour. Also did minor tune-up on door free of charge, and did not try to upsell anything. Other than the cost of the Angie's List voucher, I did not have to pay any extras out of pocket. I'm very satisfied with the company and the technician and would not hesitate to hire them again.

It went great!!They were able to get out very quickly after we purchased the new spring deal. The repaired the screen. We had other concerns about our garage door, it was loud and and was a weak spot of our home. They provided options, and we were able to replace the opener and now have an awesome garage door that we can open with our phones. They even did all of the work that same day. I use to always stress about if the garage door was open. Instead of driving back home, I can now tell if my garage door is open or closed from my phone, and even how long it was open or closed. The total price was much less than we expected. We are delighted and would recommend them to everyone.

The primary spring system snapped on our garage door last night after our cars were pulled in and the door was closed. We couldn't muscle the door up manually, so we were stranded. Called a number of providers in the morning, but no one could get to us until after mid-day of the following day. Rainier was able to give us a same day repair. Hanh (sp?) at the front desk was very responsive and she even called us back to advise that Jason was running early and could be out sooner than promised. She gave us a spot on estimate for a spring repair. We added the cable replacement as they were damaged. Jason was able to get us un-stranded and our door repaired very promptly. The door is even quieter than it was before as Jason tightened up and oiled the chain mechanism on the opener. We were very pleased with the service and would use Rainier Garage Doors again.

After sending photos I was asked to clean track of grease or they would charge me $80.00 per hour to clean before work could be done. Another company said grease won't hurt the rollers and came, performed the work, all for $ 59;00. This company was on time fast and friendly changed the plastic skids for new metal rollers, turned up everything, greased it and now it works MUCH more quieter AND SMOOTH...=-) Thanks

I had a problem with my door, which I've found out that needed to be replaced. I contacted 4 different contractors for quotes. I sent pictures to Rainier Garage Door for the quote and Jason responded back to me with a reasonable pricing. One of other contractors was using the same door and the overall estimate was about the same (the other contractor came out to estimate so that was pretty good). However, I was a bit short on the money because of $20K I spent on the sewer line earlier this year, so I went with a different contractor who provided me the most affordable option. Although I didn't go with Rainier Garage Door, my experience with communicating with Jason was pretty good. He was very professional and punctual. I would definitely keep Rainier Garage Door as my option in the future and would also recommend to my friends. Thanks!

529.34Angie's List Big Deal covered one spring replacement, but there were two on the same door. So I had to pay extra to get them both replaced. Then I paid an hourly rate for the service technician to replace an old opener which could not be repaired (parts not made now -- it was 30 years old). Technician came on time, and he worked past his normal ending time to complete the 2 jobs. Both units work well now. I am satisfied.
