Steve was very professional, very quick, and as a new home owner, he gave me info that I would need. He was great.

It was great. My garage door works perfectly. He could have sold a new garage door to me, but he fixed it and it is perfect. I would use him again. I think the price was reasonable.

very difficult to get ahold of. recoommended I come into the store to look at garage doors instead of offering to come to the home. i played phone tag with them for several days.

They were professional and did the job well. He did have to purchase an additional part, but he left the unit in excellent working order.

The garage door was inspected thoroughly. Rollers were replaced and it was recommended I buy new pulleys for an additional $17.50 apiece, which I did. The technician lubed the door and showed me how to do it myself. The garage door has worked smoothly ever since. I'm a happy customer!

They were professional and installed new rollers on my garage door. Several weeks after the work was completed the door developed a very loud squeek when it closes. I did not request them to return and fix the issue.

Replaced weather stripping at the bottom of the door.

Called for service on 12/26/2013. First availability was the following day in the early afternoon. Told I would be called before the service person arrived. Becky called about 20 minutes before the person arrived. Shelby arrived on time. He assessed the situation and replaced the springs. He asked if I wanted the bearing brackets replaces. I agreed to it. He asked if I wanted the rollers replaced. I agreed to it. I figured I might as well get everything updated rather than face another service charge sometime in the future.

Rainier was the third garage door company I have dealt with in the past several weeks and the 3rd time proved to be the charm. Stay away from the non-local companies whose technicians work on commission. The technician, "Yuma" was friendly, didn't try to sell me things I didn't need, and performed the service all for the minimum service call charge. The door is working great again.

Initially pleased, prices were in line with other businesses and they seemed responsive. I ordered a highly insulated door and was assured it would close properly and snugly using a wider bottom seal. Door arrived and was installed but came with white weather stripping for a brown door. (strike 1). Door was installed w/o the wider seal, was told that it might impact door opening, since it was a low install. (no mention of this was made when the guy came out to measure and told me they'd put wide weather strip on it.) Installer said the door might settle and cover the crack. (strike 2). Called to get brown weather stripping and wider bottom piece. Was told it needed to be ordered. They came to install but only had the weather stripping and not the bottom piece. The installer didn't know anything about it. Called to ask about bottom seal. Was told they'd look into it and call back that day. No call, so I called. Was told she'd have to check (again). The conversation regressed as I pressed the issue, having been told it would be ordered and should have arrived. Then she suddenly realizes it'd have to be special ordered and wouldn't be available until Jan 9. I say I'm not trying to be a b****, but why the h*** didn't she tell me this to begin with? She gets her knickers in a bunch and says she's going to have to ask me not to speak to her like that. She's incompetent and/or duplicitous and *she's* upset? Just do what you say you're going to do and give me a straight answer. If there was a screw up, own it. Can't stand people or companies like this. Hope it's an anomaly. Will update if resolved. I'm thus far happy with the door ,opener , and install otherwise but can't stand being jerked around so probably would not use them again.

I was very pleased. My automatic garage door, now glides open and closed very smoothly, without clinking and clanking. Also, the motor was making a lot of noise, and now it does not. (though it is old, and it could conk out at any time) My garage door is over 30 years old, and I was very pleased with the knowledge, clear communication, and capability of the worker. Also, the receptionist setting up the appointment, was professional, friendly, and easy to deal with.

Prompt and courteous. I bought a big deal at a very good price. He did additional work at very reasonable per hour cost. He worked fast and kept the cost to a minimun.

They did an excellent job. He was a very nice guy to work with. He was very honest and he let me know that one of the doors really did not need additional work as I have two garage doors. He was very professional and easy to work with, he was not trying to sell me anything. He called me as he was running a little behind due to traffic and it was not his fault at all.

INVOLUNTARY OPENING OF DOOR CONTINUED. DEFECTIVE CIRCUIT BOARD

I would hire this company again as I didn't have a clue what was wrong. The tech that came out explained everything he was doing and told me what options would be good for me without breaking the bank. With the coupon and some additional things that needed to be done, I saved and I have a good understanding of how it works. He gave me two options to what needed to be done and explained that the more expencive one was one that had to be offered and the benefits of it, but said the lesser is about the same for what I had. I really appreciated his honesty and would HIGHLY recommend this company. I just wish I had remembered his name.

It was excellent. They were here a couple of weeks ago. They installed 2 garage doors for me: one double door and one single door as well as a garage door opener. This costed me about $2600.

the Service Provider was prompt, curteous and very efficient. He explained to me just what he did to the door. I will use his service again as needed.

Rainier Garage installed 2 doors (one single width, one double width) 4 years ago. Last week the garage door opener for the larger door failed, and we called Rainier to have them assess if it was the door itself. The chap, Shelby, who came over spent most of his time trying to sell us that the 5 year old Craftsman garage door opener?s idler pulley was to blame, that the Liftmaster brand Rainier carries is better, and did not closely inspect the door itself. (In reality, Liftmaster and Craftsman both made by Chamberlain.) He then indicated that the bottom seal of weather stripping was in poor shape because the garage door opening is angled on the corners and proceeded to cut away parts of the weather stripping. In truth, it was Rainier who installed the weather stripping 4 years ago ? they should havemade adjustments as needed during the initial installation. Now the weather stripping is no longer making a good seal at each end. A few days later we had a Sears technician come over to install a new garage door opener (we went and purchased a new Craftsman product). He made three observations: 1. The original door opener could be completely fixed just by replacing the idler pulley ? only costing ~$10 2. In lifting the door up and down, he noted the tension springs on the garage door itself should have been adjusted. That way, the door opener simply is moving the door open / close, not straining from physically lifting it. 3. The door has a different tension spring installed on one side vs the other; which is odd. Items 2 and 3 are the ?job? of the Rainier technician as part of his assessment, and were missed. Given that neither was accomplished, that the weather stripping is now compromised, and that we are past customers, at the least, we would like the bottom seal of the weather stripping replaced at no charge and a 100% refund of the service call fee.
