Rainier Garage Door

Everything went great and as planned.

They did a perfect job. They got the parts and notified us when they would be coming. Got it installed. Educated us and even programmed one of the cars--whoohoo!

I worked with the owners (Jason and his wife - I completely forgot her name already and that's terrible as she was great) to find the right door for my application. I wanted the best door they could get with tons of insulated windows for my garage ->shop conversion. We had a few good conversations on the phone with advice offered and appreciated (I am insulating the shop). I then went to their display showroom in Bellevue and had a look at the doors they carried and the various options. They were friendly, frank and honest with what they could deliver. I had already researched doors and wanted the brand they sold (Amarr). I paid 50% when I placed the order for the door and 50% after delivery. When install time came another Jason came out to the house with a coworker to tear out the old and install the new. They were prompt, friendly and courteous. Good advice for maintenance and the fit and finish was excellent. They cleaned up everything but forgot to wash my truck (joke). These guys were pros.

Job was done well and as scheduled. Only minor problem was that I made the appointment, I told them that I wanted the seals replaced on the bottoms of 3 9-foot garage doors and they only brought 16 feet with them so we had to schedule a second appointment to complete the job. Technician was very friendly and explained everything he would be doing.

Be upfront with customers please. Expect more than this especially based on the past companies I have used on Angie's list. My feedback stands - you need to be honest and advertise for in-person estimate, there is a $49 fee, returnable to your bill if you use us. You did not do this... By the way two other companies coming out for in-person no fee.

Went well. Not sure if it actually made the door any quieter.

S Star service! JW came out and had my garage taken care of in 20 minutes. He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Garage door works perfectly again. I will always call them for any work I need done.

Angie's list lube and tube roller replacement to be refunded because rollers are out of date and could not be replaced.

I was very impressed. Dave arrived within the timeframe promised and the office called when he was within 30 minutes of my house. He was efficient and did exactly what was promised for the exact cost quoted and even adjusted my two garage door openers for no additional charge. I would definitely call them again.

They were prompt, courteous, efficient and excellent communicators. Our tenant was pleased with the service and the contractor. No more complaints about the garage door which operates efficiently.

I was pleasantly shocked when Rainier Garage Door was able to schedule someone for the same day to come out and look at my broken garage door. Shelby arrived promptly, and despite the fact that I couldn't get the garage door open, he was able to open it and view the problems with the device. He then let me know he could fix it on the spot for $180. This was precisely 10% of the cost the last garage door person who came to look at the broken door quoted me. I agreed and Shelby not only fixed the problem (broken spring) but let me know one of the causes of the problem (wiggly runner) and fixed it as well. I would recommend these folks to anyone and everyone, and I'll definitely be calling them the next time I need work done on my garage door.

The person who came was very knowledgeable and had the job done (even though it was more than he thought he would encounter) in a short period of time.

Shelby did a great job. I called and was scheduled the same day. Shelby called me when he was heading over, as promised. He arrived and although I had a coupon mix-up (which I corrected afterwards) he still went ahead and did both garage door maintenances as requested. He was able to change the rollers and perform all maintenance on both doors in under 1/2 hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and happy to answer our questions. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The experience was good. They returned the $99 of the big deal, and charged me $700 for all the work. After they did the work, there were some issues, and I called them, and they came and did it.

They talked to me a little bit more about the garage doors, when maybe I would expect another repair but they didn't try to sell anything. They were very honest. I like it when I can trust people. I have no complaints. They did everything really well.

It's a big deal purchase for garage door tune-up. It was really good. Knowledgeable, answered your questions and they did a quick and thorough job. That was long time ago and I do not remember how much it cost and whatever the big deal was it’s what I paid. As far as I can remember they are good. Whatever comes up on the big deal yeah.

It went fine. They looked it over and lubricated everything. They adjusted the chain and tested everything. It all ended up well, I was very impressed with the company.

David did an excellent job. He replaced all of the rollers, straightened one bent joint, lengthened both coiled springs (they were binding) and lubricated the joints and springs. He also pointed out where there was interference which was making the doors jump/lurch and indicated how the problem could be corrected. (I performed the task later and it worked.) He was very experienced, friendly and did a great job. I would certaintly use Rainier again.

We called Rainier by mistake thinking they were another company we had a quote from for a garage door opener. They were able to schedule us two days later and were even able to change the time at the last minute when something came up. The serviceman who arrived at our house was on time and very courteous. I asked for a quote before he started and explained the mix up. He made a phone call and undercut the other bid by five dollars. Work was done very well and my husband decided to also have our rollers replaced after the opener was installed .

They were recommended by a friend. They did a very good job of explaining their products and what they did. We took bids from other companies and theirs was good, or better than anybody else's, so their price was very good. They had this particular garage door opener and we've never seen it before, and they had it in their showroom on a garage door. They were very prompt and they were there when they said they would be. The young man who came and did the job was very professional. We've never had any trouble with the doors and it has been four years. It is a company that I believe is a husband and wife team. He has been in business a long time and they were very professional. Their set-up to go look at their product is very good. Their explanation of the differences in what you can get in a door is good. You can get a basic faced steel door with no insulation to a door with just insulation, and then there is the door like we've got that is also covered on the inside, so it is steel on the outside and steel on the inside with insulation in between. This is a company I would recommend to other people. These doors look great. We got both of them with openers at the same time. If we do want to get another opener put in, we will go to them. Their prices were significantly better than anybody else. They are just a good company that did good work. The young man who did the installation brought his own stereo to listen to while he was doing it and I went out to see how it was going and he was embarrassed, he thought I was out to complain about the music. And I literally was sitting in our family room where the east wall is the wall of the garage and I couldn't hear it. He did a very nice job and he was a nice young man. He made sure that everything was done correctly.
