Rainier Garage Door

I was in need of the tune up and the Big Deal drew me to this company. I wound up getting a great service for a good deal. They were prompt and professional and the service went very well.

Great service, on time, fair price.

They came out and examined what repair I need to have done. They said I should get a whole new door. I really would like to just keep my door and get it fixed. I will contact them again to fix this later. They are good to work with. The owner has even given me advice about my situation.

Everything went well, and I was mostly happy with the service. The work was done well, scheduling was easy, and the technician arrived on time. The only issue was that he didn't notice a malfunctioning light on the opener and neglected to repair it.

They were really good. He was meticulous with the installation and the price. They were consistent from beginning to end. Everything was as they said it would be. The price seemed reasonable.

This company does good work. The person I spoke with on the phone to schedule the appointment was polite and professional, as was the technician who showed up to do the work. I give the company an A rating in every category except price and quality (see below for my reasoning). The only issue I have is that they replaced the existing rollers with cheap plastic rollers. I used a different company to replace the rollers on my larger garage door about a year ago, and they replaced the rollers with super-quiet high-load nylon rollers with ball bearings. That was the reason I decided to do the same with the smaller door recently, which was actually functioning perfectly well. I was hoping to quiet it down a bit with better quality rollers. I asked on the phone what type of rollers these were, and asked for nylon rollers, but I think I wasn't very clear about what I wanted, and they didn't give me a choice. They just said the rollers were made from plastic, which I wrongfully assumed meant nylon. When the technician showed up and started to install the rollers, I was disappointed with their build quality of the rollers he was installing and showed him the rollers I had installed on the other garage door. He said that he carried those but that that package would cost me an extra $50. Had I known that beforehand, I wouldn't have even bothered with the service, so I'm giving them a B on price and quality, given that I had paid the same amount and got far better quality rollers on my other garage door with a competing company. I don't see why they even bother carrying anything but high-quality nylon rollers. They're available online for about a dollar or two each, and they make all the difference in the world.

The spring on our old 1950 garage door broke and we quickly discovered that the part is no longer manufactured. Replacement seemed complicated because an old remodel of the formerly two-car, two-door garage had made half of it into part of our master bedroom, connected internally into the house, but the garage door on this half.had been retained. So we would need to replace both doors to maintain the outdoor appearance. We requested quotes from Rainier and one other company, also highly rated on Anglie's List.. Rainier's Jason Rudzinski came the next day and made an innovative suggestion that we not REPLACE the non-operating door but simply cover it with a door matching the operating one. The quote was much lower than that the first company, and Rainier did not charge extra for raising the existing opener and track to accommodate the new door. Three days later, the new doors were brought and installed, and all the old material was removed. The extra framing around the non-operating door to keep it in place looked great - like it had always been there. Everything was finished on one day, and the new doors are beautiful. We are very pleased with the doors and with the professionalism and attention to detail by Rainier's personnel.

The appointment went very well. The service technician was very friendly and knowledgable. I needed adjustments to make the garage door quieter and he was able to make the adjustments to make the garage door quieter.

Prompt and efficient. I had been quoted a much higher price based on needed service. Technician said doors and openers were fine and rollers are now warranted for 10 years.

I didnt use the deal because I didnt end up needing it. The provider reattached a roller and rebalanced my door for me. One of my cables had come loose. Jay, who was the technician, was prompt and on time, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We called Rainier and they came out the next day to see what the problem was. My husband Roger tried to recreate the problem, and although they tried about 14 times, the problem did not re-occur. So the repair person did a complete lube of the wheels and track, checked and aligned all the sensors.

The service man indicates that my garage door is a single panel door which cannot be serviced as the big deal described. Therefore, I should get a refund from the Angie's list. Very friendly service man, polite and honest.

Had Jason come give me a quote after stopping in the showroom in Bellevue and getting a price sheet from the woman working and looking at examples (She was very helpful and very informative, had answers for all my questions). Jason explained the difficulty with reinstalling one of our openers (it was offset) and recommended the side mount opener - which, including installation, was very reasonably priced. Shelby did an awesome job with the installation of the new doors and opener. We are so pleased with the new doors and know they will last a LOT longer than our old wooden doors. They installed flashing on the edges as well to help with insulation. The new doors are beautiful, and we love the new side mount opener! I'd highly recommend Rainier Garage Door!

I had purchased the Garage door Tune-up Roller Replacement service, but found out after talking with the customer rep that my doors and assembly were too OLD. They could do only a lube job on my rollers,but couldn't replace the 4 metal springs that my type of doors needed. Big disappointment to me! But it wasn't the company's fault. AND they could not refer me to a another company that could do it.

When the garage door gave out on an extremely hectic morning, I immediately checked Angie's List and called Rainier Garage. The person who answered was polite, professional, and very efficient. She offered me an appointment for the next morning. The repair technician called ahead and showed up right on time, knew exactly what the problem was, and how much it would cost to repair. The door works like new, and he even swept out the garage stall...!

It went ok and they just did the tune-up.

We had a garage door spring break at 8AM on a Saturday. Due to the timing, I fully expected this meant that we would be without use of our garage until Monday at the earliest. One phone call later, Rainier Garage Door was scheduled to come out that evening to replace our broken door spring. The technician was prompt, professional, and did great work. We ended up having the other spring replaced as well to avoid another "surprise" from the 20 year old door mechanism. I would highly recommend Rainier Garage Door!

The service turned out well. They did exactly what the deal stated. They did a good job and I had no complaints.

The service went pretty good. They offered a little help and charge us a little more but I think it's worth it. They are came on time, they offered help and they fixed the stuff in a short amount of time. After all the garage door is fixed. I'm pretty happy about it.

The doors were delivered on time with zero drama. Installation was quick and professional. Overall a good experience.
