Description of Work: We purchased new garage doors for all 3 bays. It was expensive but the doors are good quality. We had some issues with the doors after install and Rainier told me to take them up with the manufacturer and asked that I pay the balance due even though there was some issues with the doors and glass. I was not happy about this plus I had to do a lot of back and forth with Rainier to even get the manufacturer to contact me. As the customer, I felt i shouldn't of had to deal with the manufacturer for the issues. i purchased the doors from Rainier and they shoudl have worked with the manufacture to resolve the issues with me. AFter that got taken care of, we had some issues with the garage door trim not matching the white on all 3 bays. some of the trim was a gray/white vs. a white/white. Again Rainier pushed back and told me that they couldn't get any white/white. So I said I would have my contractor who has done some other work on my house remove all of the trim and purchase all white/white and install it and send the bill to Rainier. After I did that, Rainier door magically found some more white/white trim. My customer experience was not a good one. We spend a lot of money on these new doors and I felt like Rainier shoudl have worked with me directly to make sure I was happy. I will not be recommending them to any of my friends after my experience.

Description of Work: Two of our garage doors were having problems: one wouldn't open and the other wouldn't stay closed. The two people who came out here were extremely knowledgeable about garage door mechanics and about the doors and openers that were and are now being sold. We would definitely call them again. The women in their Bellevue office who answered the phone were delightful as well.

Description of Work: My 20 year old garage door opener quit working. Danny arrived on time and advised me that he could fix it but all the parts in it were the same age so I could have a different problem in the near future. He installed a new motor inspected and tightened up everything else. A an Angies list customer he gave me the 5% discount and threw in the remote control pad for outside the door. Then he helped me connect it to my car system. He was very helpful and competent.

Description of Work: I recommend them. I had another problem with the same door springs and they gave me credit for previous work and installed a better solution instead of fixing the previous system.

Description of Work: Called the morning of the 16th -- got a good quote -- and they came out same day. Absolutely perfect. The technician Greg was knowledgeable, helpful, kind and all around great. Did extra work to make the job perfect. Clean and tidy clean up. The garage is so quiet now its almost comical! We kept opening/closing it because we could not believe it. Would recommend them 100% time and time again. We had new springs, new rollers, new lift system and fixed some safety issues from previous install.

Description of Work: I have nothing but good things to say about Rainier Garage! I had bought a coupon to get my garage serviced, but then about a month or two later really needed their help when I mistakenly put something in the way of the garage door while it was opening and it ended up derailing the garage door. They were able to fit me in the day I called and Jason amazingly repaired my error within 30 minutes! I was amazed that my mistake didn't cost me more than $89!!! Thank you Rainier Garage!

Description of Work: These guys are great. They came exactly when promised. I have 3 garage doors. I thought I needed 3 new motors and all the cables serviced. They recommended that I only replace 1 motor and service the cables on the other 2 doors. Our garage doors used to rumble and squeak. You could hear all over the house if someone was coming home. Now everything is so smooth and quiet. They were courteous, professional, punctual, honest and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon for garage door tune-up. Appointment was set up for my convenience. The technician arrived on time and tightened loose bolts, lubed the hinges, checked the overall workings. The door dates to 1977/was noisy and sometimes the motor kept running after closing. It's so much quieter now/no motor running after closing. Know I will eventually need a replacement and will contact Rainier when that time comes. Professional technician and great service.

Description of Work: Garage door built 35 years ago came off the track and flipped hardware all over the garage, leaving the door half open and inoperable. Called Rainier first thing in the morning, truck was here by 11, and despite having to wrestle with screwed up spring, cables, etc etc, the door was fixed, perfectly aligned, Angie's discount given, and done by 1pm. Hard to do better.

Angie's List offered a "Big Deal" but I was out-of-town and didn't receive the email until after the offer had expired. I called Rainier Door and they agreed to honor the Big Deal price. Jason, the Door Technician, was great. He called me twice to update his arrival time, arrived within the agreed upon time window, identified my problem, and recommended a solution. My garage doors and related equipment are all 25 years old. The doors had started to close part way, then reverse direction and re-open. Jason explained this was caused by worn bearings in the door rollers and cable pulleys, which put additional friction on the drive motor. He showed me the wear marks in the door tracks. I was most pleased with Jason's work for the following reasons: 1. He clearly and patiently explained the problem. 2. He didn't pressure me to pick any particular solution. 3. He had the tools and equipment necessary to fix my problem. 4. He offered suggestions on how to keep my garage doors in good working condition. I would highly recommend Jason at Rainier Garage Door.

Description of Work: I called just after 9:00 and Doug was here just after 11:00. Great response time! He replaced the springs and pointed out other issues for the garage door, giving me options of what else I wanted to fix.

Description of Work: Showed up on time, was polite and did a wonderful job. Spent more $ than on a Home Depot garage opener but the belt version is very quiet and guaranteed to last. We love it!

Description of Work: The line that operates the automatic garage door became disengaged. I had to open the door manually. I called Rainier on Friday around 12:30 p.m. and they sent Doug that same day about 4:00 p.m. He immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it. He also showed me what to do if it happened again. He then proceeded to check both doors, tuned everything up and oiled all the parts. I couldn 't have been more pleased with their service. My garage doors were installed in l990 so will need to be replaced before long. I will surely call Rainier when I decided to do this.

Description of Work: My garage door would not work and it was SUNDAY. I called Rainier (which I found on Angei's List) and they showed up within a couple of hours, just as they said they would. The problem was resoloved and all work notes for adjustments were written down and explained as well as explained to me verballyl. I am most grateful they worked on Sunday and did not even charge me a premium. I will happily recommend them to my friends and neighbors without hesitation. Description of Work: Jason was prompt and professional. He came out to fix the garage door opener which was almost falling off of the ceiling. Previous contractor did a sloppy job and bolted it to the dry wall. It should have been bolted to the joist. I would recommend him to anybody.
