+ -1 moreA friend recommended this company for our alarm system. I called the company and they referred me to a sub-contract vendor to take a look at my current system. The sub-contractor called me from his vacation and said that he would call me again when he returned home. When I did not hear from him, I called the company again. They had the contractor call me. I made an appointment for the sub-contractor to visit my home. He was supposed to come in the day, but could not because he had problems with his babysitter. He showed up after 5:00 PM. He began working to repair and upgrade my current system. Around 6:30 or 7:00 PM, I asked him to leave so that my husband and I could have dinner. He said that he would call me back to schedule a time to return to finish the job. There was no charge for the service. He never called back. When I called the company again, I was told to put my concerns in writing so that the bosses could know what happened. There was no effort on the part of the company to get the sub contractor to return. There was no offer of any kind of follow-up. I had had enough and did not have further contact with the company.
Description of Work: I asked for an estimate for service and for someone to take a look at my current system and determine if it could be used for security purposes.

+ -1 moreThere was a previous alarm system; we didn't know how to use the password or anything. The company came out to reset it; they were very expensive. Puget Sound was also somewhat pricey, but they would waiver it if we signed up with them. We've had them for about two years now.
Description of Work: We use a full monitoring alarm system.

+ -1 moreWe purchased our town home in December of 2006 and it included a security system. We did not have the code to operate the security system and if we did we would want to change it to our own code. I called around to many alarm/security companies to compare price and services. I tripped over Puget Sound Security and I spoke to the owner of the company. I was impressed with his attitude and candor. I felt like he really did care about his customers. The added plus was that Puget Sound Security was also the cheapest for complete service which includes monitoring and contacting the owner before calling the police. Have not regretted my decision one bit. In fact I have referred my sister in law to Puget Sound Security.
Description of Work: Puget Sound Security came in and reset and updated our alarm box. He gave me step by step instructions on the operation of the system. He was courteous, patient, informative and had a great sense of humor. My alarm was reset and working just fine 2 years later. The alarm was set off accidentally once and the service contacted me immediately.
