Description of Work: This is what happened when I called Handyman for a quote (Jan 2012). I was not going to be at home that day, so I specifically asked that they NOT send anyone till the FOLLOWING DAY. I was away from the property for a few hours. Later that day I learned that their employee did enter the property and I received a quote via email. I received 4 quotes, ranging from $680 to $1259. The highest bid - $1259 plus tax - came from Handyman. Please feel free to enter a review for me based on the information above. I would give them an F based on their inability to follow instructions, and based on their quote which was way out of line.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the entire experience, from the initial phone call until the handyman left. He was professional, prompt, thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and a very hard worker. He fixed a door that would not close or lock without excessive force, adjusted a gutter that constantly cascaded water in a heavy rain ( I guess I won't really know if that worked until the next heavy rain) and pressure washed the front of my home in preparation for paint. He took due care and caution when washing and did such a good job that I don't need to paint. I had another "handyman" (from a different company) in last year to do the same pressure washing and he did a horrible job. My "initial instinct" was that Mr. Handyman might be a bit overpriced however, I am very satisfied with the quality of workmanship and feel that the fee was "in line" with the quality of service provided. I have asked for an estimate on a new shower with some minor underlying dry rot so I will let the Angie's list subscribers know how that goes should I decide to proceed after seeing the estimate.OVERALL, FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT AND I WOULD DEFINITELY WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.
