Mr. Handyman of SE Bellevue

He was very professional and very friendly. He came exactly on time. I spoke with the technician who came to my house prior to the work and he gave me a very good estimate. He really took the time to explain everything to me. I learnt a thing or two about house maintenance and it was pretty useful. I searched on Angies List and this handyman was the cheapest. They finished all the work on time. The quality of work was great and the price was the cheapest.

It was fine. They were very prompt. I had used them before. They were pretty reliable. I didn't use them for anything major and they did fine. I thought their prices were a bit high.

The job Vic did was excellent overall and he did it in the time agreed upon. The whole process went smoothly from the time I phoned the company to completion of the job. They were a little pricey but well worth it when considering the outcome.

We were very pleased with Mr Handyman. We had used them before, though the details escape me, but I remembered that they had done a good job. The dispatcher was very helpful, and he arranged for the small load to be transferred to the dump by one of their trucks/vans the same day as the handyman service. Randy, the technician who came to our home, did a great job. I was at work, but my husband, who works part-time, was able to be there to give him instructions. My husband got mixed up regarding the robe hook installation. I'd bought a simple, cheapo brushed-nickel hook to replace the old brass hook that had been there before the new shower was put in, but Husband thought that I'd bought a fancy one and that he couldn't find it. Randy drove to the nearby hardware store and selected a gorgeous decorative hook that goes perfectly with the new towel rack style. I just love it. I thought that my husband was surprising me with a gift when I saw it. The replacement vanity lights over the double sink in the dressing room look fine. They weren't expensive; we just wanted to get rid of all the old-fashioned brass accents in the dressing room, and these were approximately the same size. We stared at the installation instructions a few times and decided that we needed an expert. Randy spent close to an hour on it, so we're glad we didn't try to do any electrical work ourselves. My husband followed Randy's instructions and put the articles for the dump outside the garage doors. They were taken away within the time frame (a couple of hours) promised, for a reasonable fee ($60). We will use Mr Handyman again because they made it so easy for us to get those pesky chores done, and they do quality work.

They were reliable, did a great job, and their craftsmanship was excellent. I couldn't say enough good things about them.

They were the most professional that they could have been. They were punctual and responsive. The bid was clear and detailed, sent over email.

The project went very well. Mr. Handyman (Terry) did an excellent job and we would not hesitate to have them out again to do just about any job like this. The result looked good as new. They offered lots of good advice on care and maintenance as well.

Mr. Handymand was on time and very friendly and easy to have around. He cleaned up the sight each day, as much as possible, and upon completion the site looked wonderful!. We have used them in the past and will call them, again.

They were right on time. The guy did a great job repairing the damage. My only complaint was with their minimum charge. They told my one thing on the phone and charged more when they got done.

The tech who did the work, Brian, did and excellent job on all the tasks I needed done. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. And he wasn't a jerk -- which seems like a back-handed compliment -- but I get so tired of having service people of the male variety who talk to me like I'm an idiot. (OK, so I may well be an idiot. Brian just didn't make me feel like one.) I definitely would hire Mr. Handyman again.

These guys did a very good job overall. In particular, the communication was excellent. We know what to expect and when to expect it. They showed up on time, did the job on budget and left a clean workspace. Very professional overall. Noticed that some screws weren't quite tight and a couple of small gaps here and there but nothing huge. We had other bids for this job that were 2x as much. Recommended.

Brian arrived 10 minutes late. He had to go to the hardware store twice due to lack of supplies (once for electrical wire and the the other for an electrical box). The ceiling light is not hung because he didn't look at the fixture to realise that he needed an additional part to be able to hang it. He has an inquisitive personality and likes to ask personal questions which slows him down considerably. To sum it up gently, he is not a fast worker, he came unprepared for the job,and he asks too many questions. He decided to take an hour off the bill for going back and forth to the hardware store twice. I still think I paid too much and I was inconvenienced.

In making the appointment I received a prompt reply to my email. Lauri at the office was very courteous -even when I couldn?t make up my mind about an appointment time. On the day of the visit the office called to let me know that Brian was running late and gave me a new arrival time (which he still missed by 15 mins.) But when he arrived he got right to work after I let him know what I needed. I had a couple of additional tasks ? one that I didn't have all the parts for and another that Brian didn't have time for that day. We discussed what was the best timing for fixing the floor before the d/w delivery and told me a good place to get the blind parts I needed and gave me time estimates for the other tasks. I will have Mr. Handyman of SE Bellevue come back to trim out a window, mount some blinds, and fix the floor under the d/w and maybe install the new d/w when I get it.

Had lots of little jobs done (7). Each were performed in a professional manner with valuable recommendations. Was very responsive and punctual. I will use them again.

The experience was excellent. He was punctual and courteous. He even went above and beyond by doing a couple of extras, such as replacing the grout.

We had water damage in our master bath, which leaked into the kitchen directly below. We needed the carpet, drywall, and cracks/sealing in the shower repaired, which was the source of the leak. In addition, we added some other minor projects that we never quite got around to completing (install lighting, large mirror to hang, door hinges to fix). From beginning to completion of the work, the customer service was impeccable. Bob was the primary point of contact and was courteous, answered every question, and incredibly prompt whenever I had an inquiry. Even when there were some challenges working through the insurance costs due to a disconnect with the insurance adjustor, Bob was accomodating and worked through all the billing revisions needed. He made sure that every detail was accounted for and everything was clarified. I was very appreciative of the reliability and attention to detail. The handymen that worked on the repairs were prompt. The work took 3 days to complete, and each day they arrived on time. They were courteous and answered questions clearly. They were very thorough and exceeded my expectations. I would use Mr. Handymen again, specifically this location.

He is doing great on our deck. He has proven to be punctual and responsive. His price was reasonable and we appreciated his hard work. We will use him again for future projects.

I have a favorite technician, Brian, and if I can't have him, I'm not sure I'd go with the company because he is superb. I have a bubble window that didn't have good enough flashing but when the technician was done replacing the siding, you couldn't even see where he had worked; he's more of an artist than a handyman. He is very neat and you can hardly tell where he's been. I've had a real jerk come in before, but Brian came in and cleaned up the job and I've been calling him back ever since.

The gentleman was very prompt, appeared professional, was courteous and completed the job in a timely manner. Since one has to pay for a minimum of two hours and he had finished his work with about 20 minutes remaining, he asked if there was anything else he could do or check for me. I asked him to check an outlet and and he also addressed a couple of other questions I had.

I have been very pleased. They have done minor jobs for me like changing lights and fixing my fence. They are on time and reputable.

It went well, one job had to have more work, and one job did not stay fixed.

Scott (the handyman) arrived exactly on time, 8 AM. We discussed the work that needed to get done, as well as the priorities since I wanted to keep the service visit under six hours. Scott went right to work on replacing the disposal and the kitchen faucet. Once that was done (this took approximately 2.5 hours), I decided to have him stay and replace 5 ceiling lights I had purchased six months ago but never got around to installing them. It is worth noting that Scott realized some of the electrical boxes were a bit loose and he took a couple of extra steps to make sure the new lights were secured properly. So by the end of the morning I was able to cross a few lines through my honey-do list. The Mr. Handyman service is a bit expensive, but overall I think it is a fair price ($248 for the first two hours, plus $98 for each additional hour). But as I mentioned above, after our 5-7 minute discussion when he arrive he worked continuously. My advice is that if you know something needs to be purchased then you should purchase everything in advance. So I knew I wanted a new faucet, and I wasn't sure how or if the disposal leak could be fixed, so I bought a new one anyway since the labor rate is still the same even if they go the home improvement store to buy components.
