He came out same day, on-time, and got the job done quickly (about 1/2 hour).

He spent most of his time trying to remove the doorknob. Replacement was done in minutes. His work is excellent. His bill showed a $75 trip charge which he did disclose and on site labor charge of $150. He mentioned he does not charge by the instead by degree of difficulty but gave no explanation except that it was hard work. The new doorknob he selected is of excellent quality.

Very prompt and professional, but price seemed a bit high for the 2 minutes it took to open the door.

I decided to postpone this project. So far, I feel that all electrical is a bit overpriced. I had them come in for another job for a fan. They were to bring me and install a cover plate and they never returned.

Steve came on time and fixed the lock for a reasonable price.

When I first contacted the locksmith, I was impressed with the questions he asked me about the door. He thought he could fix it. He arrived promptly and willingly worked with my husband on trying to get the door open. Since my husband is also a contractor, he was interested in learning what else he could have done. By working together and hearing his explanations of what was going on with the lock system, they figured out what to do. Two of the 3 locking points are now disabled (so not stuck closed), but one lock still works. Because he thought he really hadn't "fixed" anything, he charged us $0. We were happy to pay for just coming over, but he insisted that he didn't want to be paid. Would definitely call him again with our next lock issues! And we will never buy a door with a 3-point lock system.

It went extremely well. Much better than expected. I placed the call to the Lock Patrol at 1:30 PM expecting to have a date set in the future. However they were at my home for a non-emergent call within the hour and completed all work to my satisfaction in less than an hour. I am very pleased with the work performed, would not hesitate to use them again and highly reccommend them to anyone needing locksmith services.

I called at around 10:30 am and ask to have someone meet me at my property at 12. They confirmed that this time worked for them. At 12:20 I called and they said that they only said after 12, not at 12. This wasn't the commitment we had. In the end they didn't show up until a few minutes after 1 pm. When they did show up the work was performed very quickly and there were no issues. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked.

I called Lock Patrol after finding them on Craigslist. It was a little hard to understand the operator on the phone but I set up an appointment to have one of their providers come unlock my car for me. The operator was very nice and patient with me and told me it would take about 30 minutes for them to arrive. After about 90 minutes, I called again to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. He said they were busy but they would be there soon. After a total of about 2 1/2 hours of waiting, the service provider arrived. He used a few different 'wires' to try and unlock my car door. It took about 10 minutes or less for him to get my car door open. I was quoted a price of $29 for him to come out to me and then $50 for him to get the door open. I was told because the car had electronic locks, the service would cost extra. I thought $124 was a lot of money to open a car door with a wire, but I think its about the going rate for that kind of service. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. However, if I had been in a hurry, I would have been a bit bothered by how long it took.

They did the work okay but we don't remember a lot about it. We would possibly use them again.

My husbands car was broken into while he was running in Seattle. They got several items, including his wallet and house keys. After canceling all of the credit/debit cards while he waited for the police, I then had to find someone to change the locks on a Friday evening around 8pm. You can imagine how frantic it can be anytime you have to change all of the locks on your home. The first company I called - they just had a voicemail where you had to leave a message and then the after hours/on call person would then call you back. After about 20 mins I decided it was time to start finding another local locksmiths. My google search brought up Lock Patrol and they had a local Kirkland number. I called and within 20mins he was at our home changing the locks before my husband had even gotten home. It took him less than an hour to change the 6 locks (door & deadbolt) and make new keys for us. The gentleman that came out was very nice and was empathic to our emergency. I would definitely use them again....I just hope we don't have to. btw - the other Kirkland Locksmith - never called back.
