DG Landcare Services

DG Landcare Service was responsible for monthly yard maintenance. (e.g. mowing, trimming, fertilizing and shrub maintenance). DG failed to perform these functions on the weekly schedule they established and at times left our yard after performing only partial service. This is a terrible company that seems to have no pride in their workmanship and very little in the way of customer service.

I met with Bel and Jason to review my desires for both my front and back yard. Based on our discussions, they put together sketches. It was an iterative process. They really matched my vision but also were able to provide new ideas and specifics (my visions are very high level). The two other landscape companies would not provide me anything other than a quote so I went with DG. They really put in a lot of effort to document what they were going to do without any cost to me. The price quoted was double what I initially wanted to spend but based on their designs, I knew I was going to get exactly what I had envisioned. Because of other work I am doing on the house, we agreed we should do the project in two phases. The cost above and description refers to phase I only. Two workers did most of the work and near the end a couple of additional helped finish the job. They were supervised by Tony and Jason one was out at least once a week and more near the end. In addition, if I had a question or concern, I would email or call and one of them would come out to the house and discuss it. Overall, it went very smoothly without incident. Everyone at the company was professional and responsive. The amount of work involved for demo and drainage explains the cost. They stayed within the fixed proposal budget with one change order for lighting. I am going to hire them for phase two and really look forward to that!
