Decor Carpet One Floor & Home (Bellevue) replaced my second floor's carpet last October. It looks fine, but it still has some odors after almost 6 months and we did 3 times of deep clean as well as opened windows every day (yes, we let the furnace running and kept the windows open for the whole winter). My wife hates the carpet odor and we don't live in these rooms in the past months. You may think that odors might not be measurable and it might be related with individual's feeling. But here are some solid facts:1. The whole carpet does NOT have any brand, material tag or manufacturing info in any place, it does NOT have info on when and where it was made either, but the old carpet i removed did have labels every several feets. I noticed the problem the day when it was installed, but i didn't take it seriously. Also, the sales documented the name as CARPET TIGRESSA VETNOR initially. I found that the brand was different from what I saw in the store (i took a picture). So, she changed to CARPET LEES VETNOR. Still, we cannot find either of the names anywhere in today's internet.2. I keep several pieces in my garage. we can clearly feel that the surface has some wax and not seems to be dry when you touch it with hand (after deep cleans, you can't feel the problem of the surface). I asked them to refund and they returned me with a pdf file named "mohawk warranty.pdf", which is for mohawk carpet. "mohawk" has never appeared in any our orignal communication at all and you cannot find the LEES VETNOR or TIGRESSA VETNOR in mohawk warranty or its web site either. I cannot find anyway to associate LEES VETNOR with mohawk. The sales Oriana also blamed me because i didn't contact her earlier. It's true that i should probably contact her earlier, I just wanted to give the carpet some more time to emit the odors and hope it will be fine after few months so that there's no trouble for anyone. But based on the complaining experience, I doubt whether there would be any difference even if i contacted her earlier. Anyway, I will still have to remove the carpet, even though they don't want to refund and it's only installed about 6 months. I will never choose carpet one again.
