Our expectations were surpassed by our new, upgraded deck. Even though I'm a finicky customer, the entire procedure from start to finish was smooth, and the quality is excellent. Exceptional professionalism. I advise using Deck Guru to anyone who wants a deck, and I will do so in the future

They completed a full deck renovation for me and found that the frame was in good shape. They advised adding joist tape on the current joists to increase their longevity. The modern equivalent of wood is composite. My wife is pleased with the result. Wife contented, life happy. We appreciate Deck Guru's efforts to meet our needs and for making it happen. Excellent work, from Yegor's initial consultation to completion. I've already told my friends and neighbors about it.

We replaced the 20-year-old surface with fresh TRex planks. We simply opted to replace the floor with composite flooring and keep our painted and in good condition wooden rails since we were getting ready to sell our house. Since the first meeting, Deck Guru has been excellent, fitting our wants and timetables and providing the finest solutions for our budget. I'm delighted with the procedure and the entire experience, with the exception of the crew construction staff's failure to clean up after themselves one day. I can't remember the last company I worked with that showed up EVERY time they said they would be there, had no surprises and really took care of us as the customer. We never felt "in the dark," and Sia was communicative and one step ahead throughout the whole process. We're so happy that we used Deck Guru! Throughout our deck extension project, Gerorge and his team were fantastic. Almost daily, he would phone to give me an update on the tasks that would be completed that day and the time his crew would leave. He completed the job on schedule, and his workers were courteous, tidy, and professional. They also always cleaned up after themselves. He even collaborated with our cement contractor because we were building a deck and a cement pad at the same time. They returned one final time to make sure that all the details were to our taste and that all the scuffs on the house had been mended or corrected to seem brand new. The project came out beautifully and of the highest quality. I would definitely utilize them.

Deck Guru's team ( Alex, Sia, Yegor , Jason and Max) amazing people to work with . A complete deck design from the ground up. Once the project was started it took approximately two weeks for completion. We went with composite decking and the quality is excellent with a warranty that will outlive us. Communication was important to us and they made sure we were in the loop at all times. We requested some design changes during the project and the team was more then willing to accommodate. Deck Guru promptly provided a deck design and quote for our large deck project that included a deck under cover system under the deck . There was a great deal of attention given to the design with fully wrapped support posts, a staircase with two landings and lights for safety.The finished product is so nice that my neighbors had Deck Guru build a similar deck for them. They were reliable and professional throughout the process - I highly recommend this decking contractor

We had an old worn out wooden deck , and it was time for upgrade. We chose Deck Guru for this project. They advised that frame was still in good shape and could be saved which saved us quite a bit of money and they re did everything with new synthetic materials that doesnt require any painting . We enjoy our newly upgraded deck. Thank you Deck Guru for making it effortless for us .

We had 2 decks replaced by the team at Deck Guru's last spring, including one quite high off of the ground. The workmanship was great, and the decks look gorgeous! The workers were always kind and courteous, and were quick to remedy some difficult challenges that came up in the course of the work. Once they began our project, the work was done in a timely manner, and all of our questions and changes in plans were addressed as we went along, with excellent communication amongst everyone involved. We enjoyed our new decks all summer and fall, and received many compliments on the decks and workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for your upcoming deck projects!

I recently hired Deck Guru's to replace our back deck, which was in poor condition. They weren't the low bidder, but I had hired them for another job a few years ago and knew they would do an outstanding job, which they did. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Alex , Yegor and their's crew were easy to work with, did everything that I asked them to do, and the job was done quickly and on budget.

They replaced my front porch with composite materials , and added low voltage neat led lights to the risers . It looks great and and very useful at night . Love it

We got bids from three deck companies and Deck Guru was the most careful and thoughtful in proposing how to accomplish what we wanted. The other companies focused too much on the money and not enough on the quality. Yegor's bid came in mid-range between the two others, but it was also his expertise in assessing the situation that prompted us to choose his company. He also gave us a 10% discount for doing the work in the middle of winter, and we were very happy about that ( off season pricing ). They started during the last week in February and ended 2 weeks later. Their work and their behavior was professional at all times. Josh, the lead on the job, and Alex , the project manager, walked us through everything, and explained construction problems clearly so that we were satisfied we were getting the best we could. They gave us plenty of opportunity to choose which deck materials and railing materials, and delivered samples of different colors multiple times. We chose Timbertech Legacy for the floor boards and Black aluminum rails , neither of which require much maintenance. The crew was so efficient and competent I asked them to add on a few others tasks, like building a new gate to the back yard. They did a beautiful job. I am thrilled with the new deck. It looks beautiful, is very solidly built and I would use Deck Guru again for any other outdoor construction project. They honored their bid, and when a few minor things were inadvertently damaged (like the Y connector on my hose bib) they repaired it and absorbed the cost. I'm very impressed with their competence and professionalism and also fair financial practices. Great job!

Deck Guru did an amazing job on our deck and we absolutely love it!. We would highly recommend them! Everyone we dealt with was very nice, and they kept us informed throughout the process. We are very pleased with the end result.

Our experience with Deck Guru was a good one. We contacted three different companies for estimates on replacing our old wooden deck with composite. Deck Guru was not the lowest estimate, but they were close - and compared to the cheaper bid, Deck Guru's representative had significantly more expertise and examples of prior work the company had completed. None of the companies we contacted were available until several months out (I guess it was the busy season), but we knew about that upfront. Deck Guru did manage to fit us in several weeks earlier than they originally estimated, though. The builders who came out were lovely people and did a fantastic job despite challenges - the old deck had a hot tub that needed removed, and that was quite an effort. They did a fine job cleaning up the yard afterwards. There were a couple of missing rail clips when I walked through the finished deck, but Deck Guru took care of ordering the parts and delivering them once available. Overall they did a great job and I have recommended them to friends who are looking to have decks redone.

Deck Guru came highly recommend by a co-worker, so I decided to contact them. I found them to be extremely easy to work with. They were very responsive to my phone calls and emails. They also came out multiple times to our property to go over questions related to our project. Best of all, they worked with me to price out a deck restoration that fit within our budget. I also liked how they didn't pressure us into more expensive options but rather talked through what would work best for us. I stuck around for the first few days to view the tear down/reframing. The team sent to do the work answered all of my questions and didn't seem to mind me hovering around. It didn't take long for me to gain confidence in their work. The final product looks great and is much sturdier than our previous deck. There was a small issue after completion but Deck Guru quickly sent out a team to address the problem. So I'm confident that should any other issues arise the they'll be there to support me. One small con was that during demolition the team sent to clean up didn't come as frequently as I would have expected. So debris lingered around the work site for a few extra days. I attribute this to the popularity of Deck Guru and them being stretched a bit thin. Everything was eventually cleaned up and I know have a great deck and backyard to enjoy it in.

Deck Guru demonstrated a sincere commitment to excellence from my first meeting with Yegor to completion. Their work far exceeded my expectations in both the final product and the entire process. My deck could have been a winner in a “Makeover” competition when it was completed! I absolutely love the new deck and beautiful railings. Remodeling the upper patio deck, staircase, and a lower deck seemed daunting. My old decks had mismatched materials and were weathered and peeling, and the deck railings were rotted. Some companies encouraged me to tear the old decks down and start from scratch. Deck Guru let me know from the get-go that my project was a great case for “refacing”, with the hope that the underlying structure would be in good shape after stripping off the top layer. Yegor listened to what I hoped my deck could look like and explained what Deck Guru’s team could do. He took extensive measurements of all widths and heights and angles (unlike others who estimated quickly). He showed me options for products and colors which he brought on site (unlike others who said to look online or visit a showroom). The detailed bid included very specific numbers for materials as well as disclosures about additional costs that might be incurred if any rotten wood was discovered underneath during construction. There were some support boards which needed replacing, triggering a change order for additional materials and time, which I felt prepared for because of the disclosure in the bid. The demo of the top layer involved painstakingly ripping off the old impervious surface, done completely by hand. I was impressed at how thorough their cleanup was each day. Then the team attached a huge tarp to cover the exposed upper deck supports to protect them from January rains and to allow them to fully dry. The lower deck was complicated with tricky angles and corners. Levcleverly arranged the border pieces to compensate for the original deck’s strange shape. I was amazed at how creative Levi was and how perfectly he measured and cut each Trex board to fit. He also came up with brilliant solutions to widen the staircase while retaining the bones of the original structure. Each element turned out beautifully, as if it had been designed for a new install rather than a reface. Not only was their work fabulous, but Levi and Rhianna were terrific to have around. Extremely kind and thoughtful toward my large family with four generations in the home (even being respectful of my grandbaby’s nap times!). As the project neared completion, owner Alex and craftsman Levi took great care to put final touches on areas where the old railing had been. They clearly cared a lot about attention to detail and even waterproofed a few small exposed areas. I highly recommend Deck Guru. Beyond professional. Extremely talented. And fantastic results.

Our project was recently finished and I must say we could not be more pleased. Levi and his crew were pleasant, professional and attentive to every detail. Our project required some creativity which was no problem. It was so easy to do business with Deck Guru and the entire team. Deck Guru removed an old deck and built a new larger deck for us. They built a wood deck floor ( Ipe) with Black aluminum railings. They built it according to code King county codes and manufacturer specifications . It is very solid and looks great ! We would definitely hire them again.

We are so happy with our new deck and pergola.
