I interacted with Joachim and Tommy pretty much on a daily basis for the 9 months they worked on our project. They picked up where another contractor left off, fixed the problems the other contractor created, and made sure the project got back on track. Joachim and Tommy built a beautiful addition, transformed the basement, worked seamlessly with the architect, engineers, and subcontractors. They installed a new roof, replaced all the windows (there were a lot), replaced siding, leveled concrete floor, installed new bathroom slab, subcontracted installation of new wood floors, built a gorgeous stairway, subcontracted drywall for the whole house, insulated the walls, coordinated with the HVAC sub, installed all the tile in the house, sourced and installed all the millwork, and did a huge number of other things to complete a large project. And aside from being excellent carpenters, they are two just all around GREAT guys. I hope to work with both of them again soon.

Looks lovely! I love it all! When they ripped up the carpet we discovered we had an ant problem! It was gross! I called our exterminator and Tommy, who works with Joachim stayed late to make sure they understood where they needed to go and what they needed to do to fix our problem. It was very kind. Tommy was always on time almost to the exact minute. He is great with my animals and does quality work. Before this renovation he built my husband his dream office and it is better than anything you can buy at the store. Joachim is an honest contractor who has a lovely personality and listens well to all of our needs/wants. We are planning to use them again soon to remodel our kitchen. They will be my go-to contractor as long as they will have us. : )

Our downstairs remodel looks great! We couldn't be happier with it! Joachim is easy to work with, conscientious, punctual and detail-oriented. Tommy, who works for him also has those qualities. Joachim returns phone calls and e-mails promptly and keeps you apprised of any changes. We appreciate how detailed and easy to follow his cost estimate and invoices are to read. The whole project ran smoothly except for a couple of delays which involved a subcontractor and the place we purchased our carpet from. When asked, Joachim stepped in and helped resolve the issue, things were made right in the end. We would use Damstrom Renovation in the future and highly recommend them!
