CRYSTAL CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION INC

I contacted the owner, who had come to our home to clean our carpet on two other occasions, about removing a red dye stain on our carpet. I had been happy with his work in the past, and I kind of expected that he would be coming out again. However, another technician came for the job. He tried to remove the red dye stain, and there really was no improvement in the stain. While he was at our home, the technician did clean some other stains on our carpet. I thought it was expensive for the hour of service that was provided and not a good value. The owner did let me know in advance that the red dye stain may not come out completely, but he said they had special solutions and techniques for removing red dye that are usually successful. I thought there would be at least some improvement, but there was none. At that point, I was disappointed with the service, but I did not say anything, and I was going to move on and forget about the whole thing. A couple weeks after the service, I received a follow-up e-mail from the owner thanking me for being a customer and asking me to contact him if I was for "any reason whatsoever" not satisfied with their work. I thought that was a nice touch so I e-mailed him, and I let him know about my experience. I did not receive a response for about a week-and-a-half, and I only heard back from him after I followed up. Once I did hear back, I felt that the response that I received from the owner was not helpful. From the follow-up e-mail after the service, I got the sense that the owner was open to feedback, but I felt that he was more defensive than anything else. In the end, he basically said that he was not God, and that he cannot remove every stain. I responded by saying that I did not expect him to be God and to remove every stain, but I felt that perhaps he should not be asking customers to contact him if they are for "any reason whatsoever" not satisfied with his company's work because doing so sets up the expectation that something could be done if the customer is not satisfied. For instance, I would have greatly appreciated if the owner himself could have come out and tried to remove the stain, but that was not offered as an option. Overall, this was not a good experience, which makes me sad because I have had good experiences with this company in the past.

This was the second time we used Crystal Carpet, we are very satisfied. We learned of Crystal Carpet through Angie's List and got a special last year. We decided this was the best our carpet looked after using two other cleaners, so we called again. Kevin was the person that we asked for since he came out last year, he was right on time and finished in a short time. The carpet end up clean and barely wet, which is a plus for us.

John provided a great service as usual. He was prompt, responsive, helpful, and courteous. I call Crystal Carpet Cleaning back every year. I wish all companies were this responsible and easy to deal with!

Hands down the best cleaning we've had done and we've had several carpet cleaners work on these high traffic carpets. Excellent job.

Provider did a great, thorough job of removing stains, dirt, cat hair, etc. Also provided useful advice and supplies to prevent or clean potential stains, as well as advice and recommendations to prevent allergy and asthma symptoms.

I highly recommend Crystal. John the owner came himself and was very attentive to my needs of getting the sofa back to new----saved me thousands in having to replace it! They also took my Oriental rugs back to the plant and did an amazing job in cleaning them. They look like new....truly I couldn't believe what a great job they did.

The workers arrived on time and were professional and courteous. My furniture hadn't been cleaned since purchase ten years ago other than some vacuuming and spot cleaning efforts. Two large dogs had slept on the sofa periodically for ten years, so the furniture definitely needed cleaning. There were some large spots that I had not been able to get out. The men from Crystal cleaned the three pieces so they look almost new.

John's experience and knowledge are so helpful. I am confident he will use the right cleaning agents or additives without any damage. He is punctual and professional. Did a great job as always. I valued his advising me to keep the blinds, as mold loves the dark. Likewise, he advised use to keep a fan going down there in the winter to increase air circulation to r***** mold growth. Everyhting very logical and clearly stated.

They are really, really good with us. We have a baby in the house. They move furniture. I’ve had them various times. It was a fair price. It wasn’t any more than anybody else. They were super good. I had them do the whole house and this time, I just had them do the basement. I like them. They are on my speed dial. I’m just going to use them if I need carpets cleaned.

John did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and professional. Price was reasonable. Will definitely use again.

John was prompt, professional, and capable. He did a fine job with everything. He got all the stains removed from my white carpet. He was not able to outthe nail polish in the bedroom carpet, out but it was my fault. I had gone on the internet and using the advice there rubbed the polish into the carpet. But he did make it better, tried many chemicals to remove the stain, and refused to charge me for his time for that stain, even though I wanted to pay. I would have him back in an instant.

Excellent job! We were out of the house for the cleaning, but, by peering into each room from the doorway or a window I can see that the carpets look magnificently clean. Spots are gone, and the rooms look fresh and clean. $

This is the second time I have hired Crystal Carpet Cleaning to clean my carpets. Each time they were extremely professional and on time. They took extra time on high traffic areas to get all the dirt out. I would highly recommend them. Eileen

Crystal Carpet Cleaners sent Matt to clean our carpets in the high traffic areas of our home--this service was LONG overdue and we were sure that many of the stains and dark spots could not be removed. We also asked about cleaning the white upholstery on our family room sofa. Matt examined the sofa and advised us that cleaning was not the answer because of the fabric type. He showed us how to spot clean the areas ourselves, saving us the cost of commercial cleaning. He worked diligently to insure that the job was very well done to our satisfaction. I truly can't believe how great the carpet looks now :) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are so nice and professional. Their prices are great and I am always amazed at what a beautiful job they do on carpets I was sure would otherwise need to be replaced. I highly recommend them!!

Crystal Carpet Cleaning did excellent work on my condo's carpets. I had used other carpet cleaning services (national chain) in the past, and the other companies did not do good work. Crystal Carpet gets my carpets looking almost new - which is great considering how old my carpets are. I've been able to delay getting new carpets because I just have my carpets professionally cleaned by Crystal Carpet every 2 - 3 years.

The provider called ahead to say he could arrive a bit early if that was okay, which it was. He was very professional, worked hard, and did a good job. The carpet looks great!

Superb service. Noticed we had a stair riser loose and he reattached it for no fees. Punctual, personable, excellent results on high traffic areas and stairs.
