CARPET TO GO

We had the work completed about 4 weeks ago. We had number of bids obtained, Carpet to Go (through Costco) was by far the best deal for the quality of work offered. Che was our salesperson. The estimate was scheduled within a week, and Che came to our place with number of samples for hardwood and carpet and was not pushy, allowed us ample of time to make decision, and he met us again at the Bellevue showroom. Two separate teams came to do our work, one for the hardwood and one for carpet. Both were very professional and did the work sooner than we expected. Every step of the way, the Carpet To Go staff (Che and Liz) checked on us and made sure that the work was being completed to our satisfaction. I definitely would hire them again. So far, 4 weeks on, we are extremely happy with the outstanding work done.

Carpet To Go handled our carpet selection and installation, through the Costco program. We were extremely pleased with the entire process, from selecting the carpet, to the fast scheduling, and excellent installation which was completed in less than 2 days. The price was very competitive, and the installers were professional, clean and courteous. We would not hesitate to recommend Carpet To Go.

They are on it. I recommend them. They are very prompt and clean. They take good care.

Sales people were very helpful with making the appropriate carpet choice and expediting the delivery and installation in just 3 days. Installed was experienced, competent and pleasant and went beyond the scope of the job in include the hallway with leftover carpet. Very satisfied and will use their services again.

Terrible. I've called three times in the last month. The first time a guy answered and said it was his first day and someone would call me back. Didn't happen. The next time I called I was met with a rude female after j told her no one called me back. She told me she would have samples send to my house and she would check with her rep and get back to me - never happened. Called back two weeks later - a very apologetic female answered and said that the carpet samples were on their way. It's been 3 weeks. Sorry, can't do business with a company that doesn't respect my time or follow up on what they say they are going to do.

Carpet To Go was contracted via CostCo to do the vinyl floors in our bathrooms. we wanted newer model vinyl that had the effect of wood but waterproof and maintenance free. they came on the scheduled time, did the work , cleaned up after wards and did a fine job

Overall great experience, the ladies at the help desk are very good returning calls and answering questions. Because of Costco this was a great deal price wise compared with what you get directly from other Bellevue vendors. Project was done in time and it looks great.

Worked a lot with Laura and some with Tiffany at the Bel-Red location. Both were terrific. Laura is especially good with colors. Everyone I dealt with was quite pleasant. Purchase and install went well. The planning and on site measure for vinyl did seem rather wasteful--we have a LOT left over--and installers figured out a better way to lay the carpet even though the Install Manager was out twice to determine "the best way" to do things. We have a lot of carpet left over, too. Since price of material and install is based on total amount purchased, there was spending that seems unnecessary. Quality of install appears to be great, and the installers were calm, confident, and skillful. Cant comment on product durability yet. I would use Carpet To Go again but would challenge the on-site measure portion more than I did.

They were great, both the store and service personnel were fantastic! The quality is excellent.

The woman that I worked with there was just excellent. I really though she knew everything that I wanted to know about carpets and she was very helpful. The only trouble was that the carpet sample I like best was at a big box store so I ended up getting the carpet at that store. But, Carpet To Go I thought was excellent and if they have had this carpet sample there, I would have gone with them for sure. Their quote was excellent. The person I talked to just knew everything about carpets and she was definitely helpful and wanted to help me get what I was looking for. She was just terrific. They have a wide selection of carpeting. I just think they're great.

The carpet and pad are as expected. The installation seemed to go well and was accomplished in one day. However, there were some installation issues which required the installers to rerun and correct. They responded in a timely manner. All the personnel we dealt were polite and professional.

Having recently completed a major 5-month long remodel, I can attest that working with Carpet to Go was the least stressful part of the job. They made selecting carpet and scheduling install so easy! I learned so much about how carpet is made and wears over time that it really helped me to select the right product for our family and lifestyle. The carpet was expertly installed and on time. It is so soft - I make guests take off their shoes and walk up the stairs just to experience it when they come over. Everyone agrees it is the softest carpet they have ever felt. I would go back to Carpet to Go in a heartbeat and I can now understand why my parents (who were rental property owners for decades) were also loyal customers.

Everything went as scheduled, except carpet manufacturer took a long time to ship our carpet, so we had to reschedule. Betsy was great & everyone there very helpful. Installers were professional and polite. I made them lunch :), always a nice gesture.

Customer service was spotty & it took a little longer than expected. The first time I went in they were friendly and let me take home samples. They were unable to give me an exact price for the rug I was interested in, so I left my phone number and e-mail address so that they could get me a quote. When I called back a week later, they couldn't even find me in the system, so they gave me an over-the-phone quote of ~$700 which was much lower than expected. When I went back in to the store to make the order, the price was back up in the expected range of $1300. They couldn't figure out the price for the "special" whip-stitch binding I wanted, so we left this TBD. I expected it to be ~3 weeks until I got the rug, but when I called back after 2 1/2 weeks they informed me that the carpet was on back-order and wouldn't be in for another 3-4 weeks. Funny enough, I got a call a week later saying that my rug was in, giving me their store hours for pickup. When I went in, it turned out to not be cut or bound yet, so a wasted trip. They blamed it on the warehouse guy for the false alarm. Final pickup was OK & the price totaled ~1800 after binding, tax and a rug pad were added in. They didn't keep the small remnant (~1" x 8") which I wanted so I could take it to stores to find coordinating items. This was ultimately blamed on the binder they subcontract to & the binder is now sending it to me. So, I have the rug in hand 1 month after ordering, which isn't too bad. Rug & binding look great, but dealing with the team in the store was stressful & getting it done took some proactivity on my part. I was unimpressed with their ability to give me exact prices on rugs & services and the ability to do so seemed to depend on who I talked to. Communication with their distributors, warehouse and subcontractors appears to be sketchy.

Installation was very fast. They showed up on time, were friendly, didn't waste any time, were careful not to get house dirty, and did a good job.

We were involved in a 2 month project to remodel and recarpet one room in our house. During that 2 month period we had to deal with three differedn people due to personnel changes. Once selection of the carpet was made an appointment was set for the final measurement and ordering. The measurer failed to contact us in the time the sales person said they would. All follow-up was initiated by us. After three different times, we finally got an appointment for the measurer to come out to measure the room. After the measurer was out and we ordered the carpet, a date for installation was given us by the store representative. When that date arrived without hearing from Carpet 2 Go we contacted the store only to be told we were on the schedule for the next day. Again , we had to deal with a new person since the sales person who we place the order with and arranged the schedule was no longer employed. The installers came and installed the new carpet. Unfortunately, they damaged the paint on the newly painted walls in the process. This required touch up painting by us. The overall customer service experience was terrible. No one at the store took responsibility and we were not offered any consideration for the inconvenience of missed schedules and damages. We will never use Carpets to Go again. The 5% on the price of the carpet is so not worth it.

Overall process went pretty well. Besty is very friendly and helped me pick up the right carpet and placed order. The installation went good as well. Carpet To Go has much faster turn around time than HomeDepot.

They mean well, but they are not always careful. They weren't good about ordering the right color all at once and had to have 2 areas completely recarpeting (including stairs) because of errors on there part. They have a hard time with their crews. Do not do berber with them because the crews said that this was terrible carpet to lay for them. Plush carpet it fine. Be careful that the send out a crew and not just a single guy, the work is more than only one person can handle. Their vinyl guy, is still learning.

Called to get information on getting some carpet stretched. They were nice enough but nothing special. Ended up deciding to schedule with them. During the scheduling they wanted payment in advance. There was no budging on this and I wasn't comfortable with the arrangement, especially since I've never used them before, so decided not to use them. In the end they were 3 times more expensive than who I ended up using, so very happy it didn't work out.

We had our paint/flooring contractor find a carpet vendor/installer for us. We got nothing but delays and excuses from Carpet to Go. We set up on a Monday to install the carpet, then after having 3 weeks to get the carpet, they said they could not get it in time, they wanted us to put a more expensive carpet in which I said if they ate the difference which they would not. Then we decided on a lesser carpet and set the install date as the original date. They cam back a few days and said they had a conflict, in other words someone else got priority after we were scheduled. Going back and forth on this for awhile, I just told them they must not want our business and went out and contracted the carpets myself. I would not recommend this firm for any work.

The contractor was on time and did a good job of doing the installation. They had to come back for two things: a) Caulking around the installed area in the bathroom - apparently that's not part of standard service. Not sure why, since water will seep in into the walls otherwise. b) They had put in huge nails to fix the baseboard back into the walls - these totally scratched up a sliding door when we tried to push it. They had to come back to remove the nails and put in some glue. c) Now 6 months down the road, I don't the work was done very well - I can see spots in the floor that seem to be a little broken - from the subflooring not being smooth enough and punching a hole through the marmoleum floors. It is for c) that I think I should've gotten someone else.

We're new to the area. Carpet to Go was referred to us by our realtor. We contacted them and were put in touch with Tommy at the Bellevue location, and he was great in leading us through our choices and getting us through installation. We inherited stained terra cotta under the fireplace, and we chose a dark, non staining tile to replace it. We have white walls, and he helped us find a neutral color carpet to complement them. For the stairs to the basement and the basement rooms, he helped us find an industrial-strength solution-dyed nylon carpet that color-complemented the upstairs softer-colored carpet but provides wear strength on the stairs and hard-use areas. They sent their estimator in to evaluate the job, and gave us a price for the whole job. We accepted, and that's all they charged us. We REALLY appreciated their installation crew. Slavik came in to install the tile, and recommended a different configuration from the original that worked so much better with the tile we'd ordered. No extra charge. The original tile was glued to the floorboards. He removed the tile, cleaned up the floorboards, installed the 'concrete' baseboard, and added a bronze-edge metal support to surround the tile. We really like the professional installation. It looks great! The carpet crew came in when scheduled, put the carpet in, and no problems two months later. My only complaint would be that they didn't clean the driveway of some fibers afterwards, but that's a really minor issue. So now we get into 'customer service'. Two weeks later, a wooden stair-nose they put in broke loose. I called Tommy and he had someone by the next day to re-glue it. Two weeks later it broke loose again. I called, and he had his crew by after the weekend to fix it. Again, no extra charge. Tommy called the day after they fixed it this last time to make sure that if anything was amiss, just call him again. It's been two weeks now, and it looks like it's going to hold. I highly recommend Tommy and Carpet to Go.

Overall, I am totally happy with the excellent customer service, the professional work and the great value I received. The next time I need any type of floor covering I will be sure and call Carpet to go!!
