Tad came out for a quote the day after I called. Paid exactly what he estimated.

They have been pretty consistent, and their service and my interaction with them have been pretty basic.

Tad was very responsive in returning my initial call and providing me with a bid. It's the busy season in the landscaping business, and I'm also a bit out of their vicinity, but my job was fit into their schedule in 2 weeks. Tad called 3 days in advance to tell me exactly what day they would be at my house. The job was done in just one day, right on schedule. They performed the job expertly and cleaned up after themselves. Also, Tad called me after they completed the job to follow up, and spent some time advising what type of trees would create a privacy barrier. He's very professional and friendly. I would definitely use American Rose Garden again.

I was looking for basic landscape cleanup.Tad walked me around the yard and asked questions and made suggestions. After we scoped out the work he gave me an estimate on the spot. The estimate was competitive or lower than the others I had received. I liked that he didn't try to sell me things I wasn't asking for.

My experience with them has gone well. They have been very prompt and have done a good job. They quality of the work was pretty good.

Tad is punctual, responsive, professional, and has a great sense of humor. He and his crew arrived on the scheduled day and worked almost non stop to complete the job. They were extremely careful to not damage the lawn and bushes in clearing out the existing materials, and bringing in and installing the new ones. Because of the location of the work, most of the materials had to be hand carried in and out. They cleaned up when they were finished doing a really good job.

They are punctual and do the work that I ask them to do. They don't leave a mess. I am satisfied with their customer service.

My call to Tad was returned the same day and the work was scheduled for the following week. I was more than thrilled when I drove up to my house and saw the amazing transformation. It looked even better than I was expecting.

American Rose Garden did an excellent job. They had 5 people here all day. The prices were very reasonable. They cleaned up the mess, and even hauled away some things that were not associated with the yard.

Tad was very friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and prompt - the estimate he gave was what I paid. I was very impressed with him and will be using him again.

They came out when they said they would and removed some small shrub trees and also trimmed some trees and hedges. I would highly recommend them.

Called Tad based on positive Angie's List reviews. Wanted to cleanup our front and back yards to make more presentable and attractive. Tad came to our home within one week of our phone call. He walked through both yards and made suggestions as well as provided a free estimate. His crew was able to start the work within two weeks and spent 2 days on the front and back yards (first day cleanup, second day planting new items and spreading mulch). Tad's crew was incredibly professional and Tad himself was there working with them everyday. We were really impressed with the sweat they were putting into it -- full days both days! When they were done, the yards were immaculate and they had cleared and blown clean everything they had worked on (this was a lot of cleanup with all the pruning and removing of dead growth they had done). When they finished, the estimate was dead-on and we paid exactly what we were quoted. Tad was easy to work with, flexible, friendly and incredibly responsive. Yes, the price was high, but for the amount of labor and materials, it is understandable. I would recommend Tad and his team to ANYONE interested in quality work for a fair price.

We contacted American Rose Garden after checking Angie's List. They called us back shortly after we left a message and we made arrangements for certain work to be observed at a specific time and place. The lead man was right on time and after perusing the proposed project of pruning and shaping ornamental bushes and pine trees, he provided us with a very reasonable estimate. We contracted for the work and the crew showed up on time and proceeded expeditiously with minimal instructions from the lead man. After he got the crew started, including a demonstration of how to prune and shape our Oriental pines, he left to supervise other projects. The crew worked steadily and was close to being finished when the lead man returned. The job was done to our satisfaction including clean up and hauling away the debris.

I met with Tad just over a week ago. We talked in rough terms about what we wanted to do, and he gave me a rough bid. We asked him to do the job, and he showed up Monday morning with his crew and materials ready to work. We weren't exactly sure of the best solution for the drainage issue, but Tad helped us narrow the options and decide on a plan. The crew worked for the better part 4 days, as many as 4 guys at a time. On the last day, we decided we needed to replace just a few rocks, and Tad put in several extra hours to get more rock and make it perfect. He took all of our feedback and got the job done right. His attention to detail was phenomenal. He was careful to leave the dirt around and under the wall carefully groomed, and the deck and pathways clean. He was professional throughout. Considering the work he put in, I think the price was very fair.

They delivered on what they said they would do, they cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. We really liked working with them and would use them again.

I really liked the whole process and communication from start to finish. The initial phone contact was professional and we set a time to meet and review what I wanted done. We discussed the basics of what I knew I wanted done and toyed with ideas on things I wasn't sure about. I felt comfortable with suggestions and ideas provided to me and made the decision to switch to one of the suggestions over what I had originally thought I wanted to do. His idea was better then mine and cost less. The finished product was environmental friendly, clean looking, and easy care. This was better then I expected and I am enjoying the results daily.

Tad far exceeded my expectations for service and the price was just right. He was early to work everyday, his crew worked hard and was clean cut and he kept me apprised of any issues he encountered and had great suggestions. Overall terrific job and I will use him again and again. He made me a believer in Angie's List!

They did a great job. There were several workers there and they finished it in an acceptable time. I will definitely recommend them to others. They were great.

Tad was extremely responsive. He came out to give an estimate right away. His price was more expensive than some other places, but I decided to use him based on the positive reviews I read here. I was not disappointed. The yard looked great and the workers were extremely professional. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

They did a wonderful job! Our backyard has been transformed from a place that we avoided into a wonderful restful retreat. We all can't believe what they were able to accomplish in just two days. The whole experience was first rate. Tad was a bit late for our estimate appointment, but he called to let us know. He also kept us fully informed as to when the work would start and how long it would take. His crew was friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend American Rose Garden!

They did an excellent job. They did exactly what I asked for and more. Some of the rhododendrons were over 20 yrs old and had never been trimmed. The hedges were huge. Everything looks well-tended and orderly.

They are fabulous to work for. Is taking three days to finish the huge project. They have competitive prices with everyone else. It was easy to get an appointment. He showed up when he said he was going to be here. So far I am very happy with the work that has been done. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family. This is the first time I have used him, I would use him again.

He performed everything I asked him to and more. For instance, there was some junk on the side of the house that was not a part of the requested job, but he cleaned it up anyway. He said he simply couldn't leave it as is. I think that says a lot about how much pride he has in his work. It was obvious that Tad knows landscaping, he honestly advised me to perform only those things that were necessary and didn't try to oversell. There's absolutely nothing more I could have expected and highly recommend his services.

I found Tad on Angie's List and he arrived the very next day to give me an estimate. We walked the entire property three times to ensure he completely understood what I wanted. I was quite impressed with his knowledge. The estimate was very detailed and in line with what I was willing to spend. So I accepted it on the spot (a Thursday). Tad informed me that he could work on it the following week and then changed his mind and said Monday. He said since my job was pretty small he would get it done rather than trying to mix it in with his bigger projects because then it could be delayed or not finished in a timely fashion. I couldn't be more pleased with the work the crew did. I was not there while they were working, so I don't know how many were part of the crew. Tad called me once during the morning to verify a few things we had discussed during the estimate. The amount of pruning and tree trimming was much more than I expected (a positive) and I couldn't be more pleased with the work they did. Tad even called me that evening to ask if I were satisfied or had any questions with the work they had done. The final total was a little less than the estimate because the cost of the new shrubs and perennials was less than he had expected. Overall, if I had shopped around with a few other landscapers I could have been charged 10-15% less but my time is money, so having the work done less than a week after my initial contact with Tad was well worth it to me. I will certainly use his services again in the future.

Two of Tad's crew arrived early Monday morning as promised and quickly got to work whipping our yard into shape. The guys were friendly and courteous, and cleaned everything up before they left. They took out more vegetation than I thought we had discussed, so he (Tad) returned the following day to plant some new shrubs and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Overall I'm thrilled with the results, mostly because Tad was so responsive to my wishes.
