Description of Work: The gentleman who came out to our house had some good ideas, but he was obviously overwhelmed with work and was very challenged to get us a mapped out plan. If we'd had a better experience, I would have considered hiring him to do the actual work.

Description of Work: I received a bid to restore our lawn, which included De-thatching, aerating, fertilizing, reseeding, and edging. We have between 10-15K sq ft of lawn. Tad was courteous and took the time to walk our property with us. He did not measure anything out like other landscapers before giving us an estimate. He just eyeballed it and gave us some numbers. In the end, he wanted $5,900 to do the work, which is significantly higher than anyone else we received a bid from. it would cost less than a fifth of that just to have the lawn completely re-hydro seeded.

Description of Work: I have used this company for many jobs at my personal residence and my rental apartments. They are always ontime, do what we agreed upon, and do a good job. Their prices are reasonable, although not cheap. The owner takes good care of his employees who have been with him for a while. I have had hedges trimmed, large rows of bushy trees, bark and stone delivered and spread, yard landscape cleanup. The prices for tree topping are a little higher than some due to the county dumping fees they must charge to dispose of waste.

Description of Work: had emailed for an estimate on lawnmowing, edging, and weeding. The company CALLED me back with just an estimate for mowing, which was much higher than anyone I'd ever talked to. I asked if that included edging and weeding and he said no. I asked him to email me with the full price. He CALLED me once again (I specifically want quotes in writing, thus requested email). Again the price was way too high. I wouldn't use this company, either for their responsiveness or pricing.

Description of Work: We purchased the Big Deal $99.00 for Landscaping Design. First of all Tad made it clear he did not like coming over to Shoreline because his business was in Bellevue. (Did not indicate that on the deal.) This made scheduling a hassle as he could only come on the weekend "after work". Secondly, we were looking for expert advise from an experienced designer/landscaper. Tad described a rather "pat" plan for the front of our house, but did not seem to have a lot of experience in design. He struggled with English names for plants and did not seem to know many varieties to offer. He did not know the names of some plants and called an azalea a rhodie. He seems like a nice man, but more of a hands on yard man than a landscaper/designer. We finally asked if we were going to get a design drawing of his ideas for the front. Expecting some type of architectural type drawing, we were surprised when he went to this truck and proceeded to hand draw a design on some graph paper. Perhaps we were expecting too much, but we were disappointed in his abilities and professionalism.

Description of Work: They spread bark around the shrubs and plantings.

Description of Work: Did not hire him, because another vendor provided more services for comparable price. Asked him to trim laurel hedges, the other vendor offered the same service and grinding of roots for similar price.
