Installation was scheduled with our realtor in our absence from WA during the prep for the sale of our condo. Tahir Qureshi handled the sale over the phone and was very helpful and efficient. Sale went well and quickly.

We needed a new dishwasher and had read CU reports on them. We wanted one with a shorter cycle than come have. The salesman we had knew EVERYTHING about each dishwasher they had, and discussed two that he recommended with us. Before we made our selection we felt we knew the pros and cons of the choices. This did not take us very long. The salesman did nothing to push us towards a dishwasher that was more costly or that had features we did not want. We purchased the dishwasher and also paid for its installation. The date for installation was several weeks in the future but the salesman said they could call if an earlier appointment became available. It did --- only out about one week. The dispatch group had called us about the availability of the earlier appointment which we accepted. A day before installation I called and was quickly handed over to the dispatch area and got a time estimate for the arrival (about a 2 hour window). The delivery came exactly when scheduled. The installer placed pads and other protective material on our wood kitchen floor before removing and installing the new dishwasher. Because our home is old its floor and the kitchen counters are close to but not exactly level, which required a bit more work to install a dishwasher than doing it in a new home. The installer did this. Great job. Pleased with the dishwasher we purchased and the installation

STAY AWAY - Damaged my new home and then refused to fully pay for repairs I spent over $20K at Albert Lee furnishing my new home (washer, dryer, range, vent hood, fridge, BBQ) however had the worst experience. The biggest factor was a faulty washer installation where the installer didn't tighten the hoses enough. So the first time I did the wash (first week living in the new home), a leak flooded the back of the laundry room, spread to an adjacent bedroom and also seeped into the ceiling underneath (laundry room on the 2nd floor). I needed to replace and repaint baseboards in the laundry and bedroom and the ceiling below. There were also other issues: - Washer wasn't delivered on time. I needed it to be delivered on time for a $250 rebate that required the serial numbers - Dishwasher handle came scratched then was replaced with one that wasn't the same color as the original - Vent hood lights weren't working. Took about 2 weeks to get a response on when it would be replaced After all this I wasn't going to write a bad review. I'm very sensitive to writing bad reviews since I myself am a small business owner and know how it can affect business. I even was food poisoned at a high-end sushi restaurant once and didn't leave a bad review. The breaking point came when Albert Lee wasn't willing to pay the full bill for my repairs after they had promised to do so. I asked my builder to do the repairs since there was no chance Albert Lee was going to work on my home again. The amount in question was $650, just a tiny amount of what I spent there. The builder whom refers business to Albert Lee was also appalled at this treatment. Albert Lee has integrity and service competency issues, worst thing is that they don't care.

Description of Work: Our salesperson at the Bellevue store was great in helping us pick out all new appliances for our kitchen - very helpful and knowledgeable. The experience started breaking down at the delivery. Our appliances weren't where they were supposed to be when our contractor arrived to pick them up a couple of times in fact, one of our appliances got completely lost in their system. I was told that this had never happened before as if knowing that on its own was supposed to make me feel better. We had to make a number of phone calls and push harder than I would have expected to get the company to act quickly and effectively in addressing the problem. Eventually all appliances arrived, are in good working order and look great, but the delivery experience and customer service associated with that didn't live up to my expectations.

I wish I had the salesperson's name but one of the salespeople (a middle aged man) was unbelieveably rude and unhelpful. Did not listen to any of my questions, sighed and acted like none of the research I had done was worthwhile - that he knew all the answers - and directed his comments to my husband! He clearly did not want anyone - let alone a female - asking any questions. I will never step foot in their store again. We have purchased both appliances from another appliance store.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and decided to go with Albert Lee. Our salesman was professional and we selected very high end appliances totaling over $50,000. The stove was 3 weeks later than promised and was lied to telling me it was in stock. The salesperson "Elizabeth" threatened us when we decided to buy the stove elsewhere with a 35% restocking fee. The manger said that the restocking fee is bogus and felt terrible so he decided to throw in the hood. After installing the hood (floor model) they saw that some pieces were missing. THREE months later and the hood is still NOT complete. We wanted to return our insta-hot and they again wanted to charge us a restocking fee which we were already told was bogus. They came out and installed two Viking refrigerators. Due to a mistake by my contractor, they couldn't anchor the refrigerators. 8 weeks later it is still not anchored. So, when I contacted the manager again, he decided to send out an installer but it would cost us $250.00 per fridge. Since they were coming out to finish the hood I figured they could mend an already poor situation by anchoring the two refrigerators. NOPE!!! The manger said he did not have the authority to waive the install. I replied "then why did your salesperson waive the install of one of the items when we first purchased this package"? Hmmm... Is someone not being truthful??? So my refrigerators are being anchored by my contractor and it took them 5 minutes each. 10 minutes of work and they couldn't throw it in??? So, spending $50,000.00 and taking months to complete??? Then the total runaround and avoiding my phone calls and emails??? Each time there was an issue there wasn't one person at Albert Lee that was proactive and contacted us. So, be careful. They get you in the door and then the games being. Albert Lee!!! I'm embarrassed for you and you should be ashamed.

The showroom is great at Albert Lee. The sale representatives are generally knowledgeable and professional. Their prices are competitive. Everything went great with ordering. However, we were slightly disappointed at delivery. The sale rep promised us to clean the refrigerator inside and out before delivering it to us at the showroom since it was a floor model. We are still seeing stains on the shelves and shelf liners. Also some of the styrofoam crumbs were left in the freezer compartment. It was a rainy day when they delivered. The crew does not have any towels to wipe down the appliances after they moved them in. When they attached the water hose they left some water puddle on the floor. Finally the washer was not tested because the installer found the child proof socket to be too stiff to plug in so he left it unplugged. I appreciate the fact that he does not want to damage the socket, but I expect them to have better knowledge about these things. Our builder just informed us the washer can be plugged in. The crew left the washer and dryer in the middle of laundry room and we still haven't been able to push the washer back into place and level them. We emailed the sale rep that we expected better service from Albert Lee because of the good reputation of the company. He didn't respond to us until we pinged him another time. The response we got was defensive. We don't feel that he acknowledges the customer feedback and we don't see that he want to do anything to make us happy. We are now left with an unhappy feeling in this experience unfortunately. We may still go back to Albert Lee, but will definitely look for another sale rep to work with.

The work was done professionally and without a hitch. Our new instant hot water appliance is perfect. The price was competitive and the people were all sterling to work with.
Description of Work: Our Instant hot water appliance broke and we needed a replacement. Albert Lee had the one we wanted at a competative price. They ordered the item and within a week we were in hot water again! All the people I dealt with were friendly, professional and a joy to deal with. I would recommend them to anybody needing a small appliance.

When they delivered the refrigerator, it stuck out into the walkway about 8-9 inches. I called them to let them know, and they asked if we had given them the dimensions, which I did. We had not measured the depth, but they had not asked for it. In order to get the one that fit, I had pay a 10% restocking fee, plus the smaller refrigerator was $300 more. When they delivered the washer and dryer, I was in the office. I heard a very loud noise coming from the laundry room. It was our washer making that noise. They knew that when they sold it to me, but did not inform me. They took the washer and dryer back because I could not handle the noise. I got a new front-loading washer and dryer, hoping I would be done with them. They delivered those, and when it spun, the clothes were still sopping wet after the spin cycle. They sent someone out to fix the problem and charged a service feee. I found out that they had been having problems with these washers and dryers. I called Albert Lee and told them I did not want them now, and they charged a 15% restocking fee this time. It was a nightmare with them, and they treated me like I was the problem. I then went to Home Depot and got what I wanted!

Everyone recommended this company to us. I felt the person we spoke with heard what we had to say and understood what we wanted. He paid attention to what we needed and didn’t try to up sell us. He sold us the best product within our budget. He gave us good suggestions and recommendations.

We were very pleased with our salesman, Darren Cleveland. He was very patient and helpful to us as we are not experts at all in what we were purchasing. He spent a great deal of time with us and really helped us to make great choices for what we were interested in. We also had some input based on Consumer Reports ratings and recommendations which he was very respectful of and helpful with, which was not our experience at another store. It took us awhile and a few iterations to even decide what appliances we were interested in, and then a lot of time and a couple of visits on top of that to decide which models and brands we wanted. We felt Darren went above and beyond the call to truly make sure we were getting what was best for us and we are so thankful for his assistance. High marks also go to the installation and delivery teams. Albert Lee has a very established and well thought out process and series of controls to make sure everything goes right and the personnel we dealt with were great. We had some issues with the appliances not fitting correctly in the spaces designed, and they were very patient and helpful through each problem. Even though it wasn't their fault and they had to come out more than once to finish everything, there were no unexpected charges or issues. Also, we were very nervous about the refrigerator installation because we had just refinished every floor surface that had to be crossed to get the refrigerator in the kitchen. They were very professional and took great care to make sure there was absolutely no damage to any surface whatsoever. Thank goodness! Initially we had a problem with our cooktop vent which unfortunately took a while to fix. They subcontract this to another service and apparently the part that was required was not in stock and took a while to arrive. However, once it arrived it was installed promptly and now works fine. We are delighted with what was purchased and would highly recommend them to any who are in the appliance market. They work very well and have excellent pricing for people like us who were doing our whole kitchen with a remodeling contractor.

Description of Work: This company is SO worth making the trip from Bellingham, if you are in need of superb appliances and fantastic customer service. We were building a home in Bellingham and had thoroughly researched all - I mean all major appliance dealers from Seattle to Bellingham. Nobody even came close to Albert Lee and our salesperson, Linsey Miguelena. She spent so much time coordinating with our cabinet maker and everything fit like a glove. She is the consumate professional and an absolutely lovely person. When I first met Lindsey, I told her I was so frustrated because I did not want stainless and all other dealers to whom I dared utter those words, looked at me as though I was having a breakdown and told me that stainless was "the in thing". I did not want "the in thing", I wanted what I wanted. Lindsey was the ONLY person, who informed us that Viking ranges were available in 22 colours! I was delighted. We also wanted to build in our refrigerator and dishwasher with matching cabinet panels - done. It was the easiest thing about building our home. The delivery men were so accomodating and neat and clean during installation. I cannot say enough good things about this company; their people;their merchandise and prices. I have even called Lindsey with questions about an appliance and she answers me immediately with a smile in her voice. Try them - you will NOT be sorry! We had been to so many dealers with plans in hand, who totally ignored us as we wandered around their store.

They are very good, very professional, and very responsive. They never made me feel rushed. I feel like they were objective in the information they gave me when comparing brands. Their selection is what I think rates them above anybody else, they have everything, that is why I went with them.

great. Had been researching and looking at appliances. Heart about Albert Lee from colleague and went to the Bellevue location. Lindsay M. was great. I asked her to please let me look around and when I was ready, I would approach her and ask questions. all of the staff respected my request and when I was done, she and I spent some time. She works part time (I think) and is not always there to answer a question but any of the other staff members will do so without issue. She always called back and then I ended up having issues with both of the appliances and she arranged for service quickly and all problems are being resolved - - i actually get a new range due to manufacturing defect. Albert Lee has stood by their products and have been very good to work with. Jeremy in Customer service and Lindsay both checked in to keep me updated. Great place. I would like to add that I have since had other dealings with this company that have changed my oppionion in general. The next stove had the same issue and I was suddenly told it was no longer a problem Frigidaire claimed it wasn't. Lindsay apparently had many interactions with them about my stove. Albert Lee offered me another stove. All of their stoves had the same problem. None of the frigidaires I've looked at at other outlets have this problem. I've had two other stoves at my home (a total of 4, current one included) with the same problem. I've given up. I'm sure they were frustrated with me but it was their repair person who said it was a problem, told me what would happen, and recommended a change or fix - difficult fix, so replacement approved. the last stove (a slide in) was installed on top of my granite. last night the oven fans/motors quit and the oven sounded like a jackhammer and smelled of burnt chemicals. Another repair person is on order but I wasn't given much consideration nor did the sales person want to know what the issue was. I just hope they can fix it. buyer beware.
