Very well. Everyone was nice and good to work with.

They were prompt, they did what they said they were going to do. I think there only draw back was some of the trimming wasn't as clean as it should have been. The trimming could have been a little cleaner on some of the trees. They were responsive.

Things went well as far as getting the quote and scheduling - until the day of. They arrived around 11 and after being parked out front for nearly an hour, called to say that a crew member had a medical problem and they couldn't do the job that day. Things happen, and I understand. Then Brian said they were booked for the next month and a half and I would have to wait. I have a city permit that has a time limit, so I asked Brian if it would be possible to rearrange anything in his schedule and to let me know. I have tried following up with both Brian and Bill, through phone and email, and have been completely blown off. Their estimate is about a third of the price three other companies have quoted, which leads me to believe they made a quote for a job without realizing what they were getting into, and decided they don't want to do it after all, and don't have the courtesy to call and tell me so.

Bill and his crew came out and did a quick professional job. They were meticulous about getting all the limbs including one that was stuck in another tree off the site and chipped. They cut the tree in rounds and made sure none fell on my lilacs. I would certainly hire them again since I have a lot of trees on my land.

I was more than pleased. They specialize in big trees so this was just a small job for them. Bill even suggested I might have a landscaper do it to save money. However, the last two landscapers I used have been pretty pricey also. And one of the trees is a big tree and a special tree for me so cutting any of it was hard for me to have it done. Brian was a godsend. He knew his trees, was a hard worker, responded to my needs and could not have done a better job. I highly recommend them!

Brian did a very good job with the work. They used their bucket truck to shorten the cypress hedge from about 36 feet to 16 feet. The use of their bucket truck made the job easier and probably quicker. I considered seven bids for this work and ACE was the only one that said they would use a bucket truck. ACE was also significantly lower in price than of the other bids I received. I will definitely use them again when the hedge needs trimming or shortening in the future.

Bill was very professional and assessed the situation. He explained what needed to be done and how to do it in a safe and timely manner. He gave us a quote that was reasonable considering this was an emergency situation that was dangerous, it was a Saturday afternoon, it had to be completed before dark, and the fact that otherwise we'd have to wait for weeks to get an appt. with him or another company due to the fact that there'd been high demand for tree service because of the recent wind storms. Oh, and the fact that another wind storm was due that night was yet another reason to pay the premium. Bill returned a little while later with his helper and equipment. We were very impressed with their professionalism and skills. They didn't hesitate to jump into the dangerous work after carefully scoping out the safest method for downing this partially downed tree that was pointed toward our house. Watching Bill carefully, carefully scale and then cut away at that 100+ foot Fir tree took our breath away and we truly felt that he risked life and limb to save us from potential disaster. Thank you, Bill, for being our hero! We will definitely be calling you again.

It went great! They called and set a time to come see what I actually wanted done and then sent me a formal pricing sheet detailing what had been decided upon. We set the date and they arrived on time and worked continuously for 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday) doing all that was required. This also included the removal of the neighbors fur. When they finished on the 2nd evening it was dark, so they told me they would be back on Friday to complete the cleanup. I had several errands on Friday, but when I got home everything was completely cleaned up, including blowing my roof where sawdust had landed. Excellent job, very easy to work with, and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company!!! Note: 2 years ago I had gotten a bid from another company....it was almost the same price and did not include removing either of the pines, 2 other companies were not interested in just doing limb removal.

Bill (the owner came by promptly) and inspected the trees. It was too dark to see clearly, but he and an assistant came back and went over the assessment with me. We agreed on what was to be done. They worked like dogs and were very professional. My wife and I were quite impressed. The price seemed fair and the job went well. I would recommend them without hesitation.

From the contact telephone call until the finish, everything was pleasant and professional Bill came over to get an overview of what I needed and came back another time with his employee Brian to review the situation. A few days later he provided an estimate and we scheduled the work. He returned with tow employees (including Brian) and we reviewed everything again before they began. I was asked to stay home in the event they had more questions. Brian is quite knowledgeable about how trees should be shaped and did a terrific job with the pruning of both trees and bushes. They worked very hard and were accessible when I had questions which always were answered in a professional and pleasant manner. The entire project took a little over a day and a half. Several of the people in my neighborhood stopped to comment favorable on the quality of the work Cleanup was completed; no twigs or branches remained behind

BILL AND BRIAN DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON 2 DANGEROUS TREES. THE SPRUCE WHICH WAS 45 FT TALL WAS ABOUT TO FALL OVER. BILL DID A GOOD JOB OF BRINGING IT DOWN IN SECTIONS SO IT DIDN'T DO ANY DAMAGE TO LANDSCAPING OR DRIVE WAY. THE FRUIT TREE WAS MORE TRICKY BECAUSE IT WAS DEAD. THEY GOT IT DOWN AND CLEANED UP THE MESS ON THE GROUND. BILL WAS THE FIRST TO RESPOND TO MY INQUIRES AND CAME OUT TO GIVE ESTIMATE IN 4 HOURS. THEY CAME OUT A DAY AND A HALF LATER TO DO THE JOB. VERY PLEASE WITH THE WORK THEY DID. REASONABLE PRICE, AND PERSONABLE GUYS TO TALK TO.

Staff of 4-5 with a few on the ground gathering fallen branches while the expert (arborist, owner and another skilled guy) climbed and worked together to safely cut limbs, then trunks. Some of these were 2-3 feet diameter with partially rotten cavity and another couple were dead. They didn't just rush in like Rambo with a chainsaw (those types are out there). ACE carefull made a plan and they were methodical, well equipped and clearly used to working together and enjoying the process. They cut stumps clear to the ground, chipped wood on site and removed all debris, yes ALL debris. One rotten tree broke way up high and crashed, taking out a small railing section of neighbor's porch. Owner Bill promptly repaired completely with no fuss. They also improved a view corridor by carefully trimming some evergreens, and limbed a few others to keep rats from reaching the roof. Owner was onsite and communicating with staff most of the time. It took 4 days overall since they also tackled some of our neighbor's problem trees as well. All staff was courteous, well spoken and dedicated to the job. I have hired 2 well-known tree trimmers during the past 10 years and they were reluctant to tackle these super tall trees since they were leaning at 30-35 degree angles on the steep slope. They took out the EASY to climb dead trees for as much as ACE charged to solve the problem once and for all. Year after year we kept avoiding the problem until they became a roof hazard for our neighbors --- and even more dangerous to remove. This year I received several quotes from well known companies some as high as $ 9,800. I found ACE TREE Service LLC in an internet search and what stood out in my mind was their statement that they could tackle dangerous tree removals. They did that and more! I am happy, my neighbors are happy. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again whether it's for a simple tree pruning, stump grinding or a dangerous tree removal. The owner Bill is easy to talk to, offers suggestions and will work within your budget.
