Better Air Northwest

Amazing. they did such a good job and went above and beyond just cleaning the vent. They went under the house to make sure that everyting was connected properly and they even put on our new vent tube. Very curtious. Would absolutly call them again and have them do the rest of my ducts when needed.

Arrived as scheduled. They were able to meet the challenges posed by our twisting vent duct. They even made corrections to minor mis-fabrications of the original installation. We were also alerted to potential problems that might occur (beyond the scope of this service). We would use Better Air NW again and also the next time we need to clean forced air heating ducts. We secured this service through an Angie's List discount offer. Nice job, nice folks.

we used Better Air last year and were impressed with the quality of the service. They came and checked the air flow throughout the house and then cleaned the entire ducting system including fixing a hole in one of the ducts. This year we called them to clean the dryer venting. They came and did the cleaning but also did a pretty good of connecting the dryer hose to the venting duct. Good service from professionals each time. We will use them in the future.

Finish the entire job less than 1 hour. Other providers took at least 3 hours.

What you read about Better Air NW on Angie's List is true. I wish every business was as conscientious as they are. They showed up on time, explained all that they were doing and got it done. Their "can-do" attitude is so refreshing. I had one question/concern after they left, so I emailed them and they immediately got the owner to address it, miles above my expectations. I cannot say enough great things about them. I like how they give you an upfront price and stick to it. Many other companies hook you in with a lower price, but after they add all of the vents and/or up-sale you, you have spent far more than Better Air NW.

This service was as advertised and I was glad to have taken advantage of this "Angie's Big Deal".

Corey and Tony were great they came in and explain what they were doing so that I understood both were very professional. They were very quick and did a great job I noticed my dryer is not over heating like it tends to when we run a load. I am so impressed with the service I have setup another appointment for the guys to come back and clean out my Air ducts which have never been done and I believe really need it.

I bought an Angie's List coupon for Better Air NW. Jason was very easy to work with - he scheduled an appointment quickly and completed the service quickly yesterday. I will definitely contact Jason again for future needs.

They did go beyond our expectations. They showed us their equipment with sterile filters before they began, and showed us after they had finished... amazing what comes out of the vents. This was the first cleaning after building our house six years ago, and there was dust in there from the construction and an accumulation over the years since. We are literally "breathing easier". Also, the dryers are drying in less time.... not to mention they are safer. They told me many house fires are caused by lint in the dryer vents. They also cleaned air intake vents that are hard to reach in the ceilings, even though they are for ventilation and not part of the heat/ac system, going beyond, and that is so appreciated!! While Edgar was on the ladder, cleaning the dryer vent, he noticed that gutter near the ladder was full of leaves and cleaned that too!!! (We will be looking on Angie's list for a company that will do a more thorough job of cleaning the gutters than the one we paid to do that just a week before.)

It was ok - they left more lint than I wanted in the yard area where the ductwork goes into the house.

I easily made an appointment with Better Air Northwest for my dryer vent cleaning. Jason and a helper showed up on time and went to work. Jason had me come out to look at all the lint he had removed and then questioned if I had ever had my heating ducts cleaned. I hadn't. Jason was very friendly and easy to talk to. I never felt any pressure from him to do more work. He simply explained the benefits I would get from a complete duct cleaning. He offered the extra service at $325.00 for my size house, less the $50.00 I already paid for the dryer vent, making the extra work only $275.00. We made an appointment for the following week when I would be home. Again, Jason and his helper showed up on time. He showed me that his equipment was clean before starting so when he was finished I could see what came out of my ducts. They worked efficiently and keep everything as clean as possible. Jason even crawled into my attic to reattach the duct to a vent that wasn't attached before the actual cleaning! It was amazing how much "crap" came out of my ducts including small pieces of lumber, paper, a couple of pop cans and a huge amount of dust and lint. Overall I am very happy with Jason and the work he performed. I also felt his price was fair and his company is very easy to contact and make an appointment with.

My dryer vent was clogged. It probably contributed to the failure of the heating element within the dryer. Repairman for the dryer recommended we get the vent cleaned. I scheduled a time within a few days when they could come and do the job on an Angie's List deal of the day. They came, cleaned up the vent and left. Things dry faster and the dryer doesn't heat up.

Matt arrived on time and did some cleaning inside the house and then went outside to finish. He removed a great deal of built up lint. Very professional. I am happy with the service. I plan to have them clean my air ducts next fall.

Very nice fellow. Was prompt, friendly, cleaned vent quickly and cleaned up debris afterward. Whole process took maybe 30 minutes. Will use this company to clean our air ducts when the time comes.

It was a messy job but he did it and did it good! He had a helper and they both showed up on time. We were very pleased.

Two men arrived as scheduled Started right to work-were polite and careful about property-performed task in breif time frame. Completely satisfied--advised of addtional work they could perform --but not pushy.

Everything about Better Air Northwest was professional, easy, and courteous. I was able to schedule entirely online via email - from first contact to an appointment within a week - in about an hour. They give you a price right up front and stick to it. The guys that came out (Chad and... Eric?) explained everything thoroughly before they started and were entirely respectful of my home. I had an 8am - 830am appt and they called right at 8am to tell me that they might be just a couple minutes late in arriving, which gave me the opportunity to walk my dog, rather than sit around waiting for them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or hire them again.

Matt arrived on time, and was very careful to remove his shoes when he came into my house. The laundry is on the second floor, so he and his assistant set up a ladder to reach the exterior vent at the peak of the roof on the second floor. They were very thorough in cleaning out all the lint from the full length of the dryer vent hose. When the job was finished, Matt noticed that we had brand new flexible, water leak-safe hoses ready to install on the washing machine. He offered to install them for me, and also pushed the washer and dryer back in place into the laundry closet when he was finished. When I asked him what I owed for installing the hoses, he said, "nothing....I hope you'll give me a good review". I'd give Matt an "A", and I'll definitely call Better Air Northwest next year when I need dryer or furnace vent cleaning again.

Starting with the friendly administrator (Sharon) who scheduled the service, I was very impressed with the entire experience. Tony and Cory were prompt, efficient, and explained every step of the process. They showed me the clean filter of the oversized vacuum and the inside of the shop vac prior to commencing the work, and then re-opened the machines after completing the cleaning to show how much debri and detritus had been removed from my vents. They also installed (without charging for the service) the air filter I had purchased, but was not sure how to correctly place. It turned out the previous homeowner had put it in upside down and in the wrong section of the vent. The pride in their work is evident and appreciated. I highly recommend Better Air Northwest!
