Better Air Northwest

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List. From the outside of the house they removed the dryer vent outlet and used kind off a drill that went into the dryer vent tubing and pulled out all the lint that had collected in there. There was a ton of lint and I had no idea that it was in there so that was good. Previously I had a dryer overheat and burn out and they said it very well could have been because there was so much lint blocking the dryer vent so I don’t know that was the cause of it or not but I could see how that could happen. They cleaned it out and they did a great job. They cleaned up the area outside where the lint was coming out so my backyard was clean. They replaced that dryer vent outlet equipment and they also did me a favor which was nice. They reattached the screen on my foundation vent that had fallen off, I asked them how I could fix that and they just did it for me. Price was fine but I didn’t have anything to compare it to. I thought the $50 or $49 seemed liked I could afford to have them come over and do that.

I bought the Big Deal for dryer vent cleaning. Corey and Tony called ahead of time and asked if they could arrive earlier than our scheduled appointment window. Fine with me. They were then immediately stuck in traffic because of a bridge lift, but still managed to get here about 20 minutes early. They went right to work cleaning out a dryer vent that I'm sure the previous owner of this house never cleaned once in 25+ years. It was crazy to see how much lint came out of the vent. Corey and Tony were professional and efficient. They even helped me bag up some old carpet we had to tear out because of cat urine damage. The next time this vent is ready for its cleaning (long before 25 more years have passed), I'll definitely be calling Better Air Northwest to do the job.

They explained what they would be doing when they arrived at the planned time. Cleaned the dryer duct and had me look at the reside they removed. They also installed a new dryer hose for me. Very professional, respectful and friendly. I have already hired them to clean my furnace air ducts.

Excellent experience. Corey and Tony were great. Not only were they punctual (they called ahead and informed us of arrival time), but they were very professional, proficient, and courteous as well. Job was done in no time at all. We plan on scheduling a full system cleaning for our home in the near future.

Better Air NW personnel were so very prompt and polite. They arrived on time, they called about 1/2 hour prior to arrival. They introduced themselves and then showed me how all of their equipment was starting out in a "like new" state of clean - so that I could see the difference in the end result. Essentially the "before and after". I was very impressed with that. They also explained what they would do and how they would do it. We have a 3600 square foot house with two furnaces. They were toured through the house as they counted registers and cold air return vents. I had e-mailed the company before hand and received several e-mails with answers to my questions and also received the amount that would be charged for their service. They informed me in the e-mail that there would be no surprise charges. During the day, they took only a 20 min. lunch break. These two gentlemen then went to work on the dryer vent, which they discovered was almost completely plugged. They had to take the pipe apart to remove the "plug". They then completed their work, showed me their "results" of a thick coat of dust in both their vacuum and in their "negative air flow" machine, and a large garbage bag of dryer lint. I was both astonished and impressed. We built this house 15 years ago and had never had the vents cleaned. Their was still drywall remnants in the vent system. I will certainly use this company again. We had our dryer vent cleaned 2 years ago and I cannot believe that that other company did a thorough job at the time considering the condition our vent was in today. Our neighbors just had the same exact cleaning done and paid slightly less with another company, but their house is also less square feet in size. This company Better Air NW is very impressive. Update: 1 week latter, While doing laundry, I discovered how little time it now takes to dry a load of towels, you guys Rock!

Technician called several times to notify me he was running late. Eventually showed up and performed work as promised.

We purchased a big deal, and the service turned out well. They were very informative, they explained everything, they were very careful not to disturb anything around the house, and they were very efficient, they were in and out in no time.

Corey & Mike showed up right on time, they called when they were about 10 min away to let me know they were on their way. Both guys were very professional, courteous, and personable. They went out to the truck a few times to get equipment and every time they came in the house they took their shoes off. We went through the house and I showed them the supply & return vents and Corey explained the process as went. Then they went about doing their work, it took about 2.5-3 hrs and it went very smooth, no problems. I could not "see" inside the vents (before & after) but they showed me the clean filters before they started and dirty filters when they were done, which included a lot of our dog's hair. I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends, family & neighbors and will use them again in the future.

Had some difficulties, but all was resolved eventually

They were running late so they called to let us know. The dryer hose disconnected from the celing when they were cleaning it so they had to stop and reattach it. There was dryer lint that went flying every where in the house but they did clean it up. They were pretty much in and out. It did not take to long at all.

The service provided by Tony and Corey couldn't have been any better! These two gentleman were polite and very professional. They arrived and took a tour of my house, they then explained to me the entire process and got started. Each time they started a new step in the process they showed me exactly what they were doing. Very friendly people! I was amazed at how much junk they were able to clear out of the system. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future as well as recommend them to anyone I know. Sharon in the main office was also very easy to deal with. Very prompt! I was surprised when I sent off a quote on a weekday evening and heard back within a few minutes. I wasn't expecting anything until the next day. Scheduling was a breeze. Great company!

Purchased the ad to air ducts cleaned. The $99 was only for dryer vent cleaning. The additional amount was to clean our forced air cleaning ducts which is why we purchased the coupon to begin with.

The company called me right away to schedule - I purchased as a "big deal". Was able to be schedules quickly. The gentlemen that performed the work were early. They did a great job and were very efficient. Would use them again! Excellent!

The crew called to see if they could come early, which was fine for me. They arrived as promised, and performed the services as promised quickly, professionally and cleaned up after themselves. In order to clean my dryer vent they had to climb into the 3rd floor ceiling crawlspace, which they did without issue. I was happy with their service and plan to have them do this annually in order to ensure that my dryer has proper venting and there is no fire hazard.

Got a lot out of vent but when one guy said lets give it one last clean out the other guy said no there isa huge improvement in air flow so they didn't give it one last cleaning and then we had someone else come and get more lint out because the dryer was still taking more than one session to dry. Now less than one. They did not do a thorough job and were there for a total of 25 minutes and could have spent ten more minutes finishing the job. Must've been too small of a job. One guy seemed in a hurry

The company was very easy to work with. I purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List and called the company to schedule the appointment. They were friendly and worked with me and my schedule to come up with a day and time that would work for both of us. The technitian was to come between 3pm and 5pm, but actually arrived a little early at about 2:40pm which worked well for us on this day. The technitian was professional and thorough.

They guys were terrific. Came prepared, got right to work, and worked to get things unplugged and cleaned out. They not only cleaned dryer vent but placed everything back where it was suppose to go, along with completely cleaned up. An excellent value. We are going to have them do our complete ventilation system for us we were so pleased. Highly recommend them!

The dryer vent cleaning was quick and efficient. There were no problems. But as soon as the techs came in the door, they began pushing their vent cleaning services. They tried to sell me a vent cleaning service for my house and furnaces. I didn't appreciate the hard sell.
