Better Air Northwest

Jason and his co-worker arrived on time. They explained what they were going to do and did it. They were very professional nd I will be using them again.

Arrived on scheduled time and cleaned my dryer vent with a long vacuum hose. I assume everything went well, I couldn't see any thing that was sucked out, so I took the tech's word that all went well. They were professional & courteous, left me a business card for future service. They inspected & adjusted my dryer hose as well.

It was good; they were on time and fast.

The started on the outside of the house and tried to suck it all out. We have a fan booster mid way, so they had to climb up into the attic and get that squared away, then they also had to go back to the dryer vent that goes into the wall.

I was well pleased with the workers' professionalism. They were pleasant, courteous, and efficient -- and they took the dirt they'd retrieved away with them.

They arrived on time, cleaned the vents, cleaned up and when I got home from work there was almost no evidenced they had been there. A friend came to let them in, so I do know they did the work.

Jason called to confirm the scheduled time of his arrival the date of my appoint. He and Edgar arrive exactly at 8:20am as promised and began work immediately. They were finished in less than 30 minutes! Although my dryer vent had not been cleaned since my home was built and occupied in 1998, the amount of lint and such was minor, which tells me we have been doing a good job at cleaning the dryer vent after each use. :)

He came, he was a few minutes early. He had another young man with him, had on Hazmat suits, climbed under the house into a not so pleasant place under the house. Had us watch what came out during the cleaning. Discussed other services they offer.

Three individuals showed up on time to clean a dryer vent. This was done without issue. They also knowledgeably discussed recommended operations of it. The only issue was their multiple efforts to sell add on services that were not requested (air duct cleaning). No no means no the first time.

It was great. One person was in charge of the other two. The spray to kill molds when they were finished had me breathing much better the next morning. We have 5 dogs.

The men arrived on time, fully explained the procedure, and did all the work from the outside vent hole. I had a prior nightmare experience with another provider, so have a basis for comparison. This company was a complete pleasure to deal with throughout. They stress their respect for your property/home, and removed their shoes before entering. I would absolutely recommended Better Air Northwest for dryer vent cleaning.

I purchased a $50.00 coupon from Angie's List. Matt the, the owner, came out the week before and cleaned my dryer duct. Matt told me that the dryer duct cleaning was included if I purchased the full heating/vent cleaning service. He told me to hold onto my $50.00 Angie's List discount coupon and use it towards the full service. I scheduled an appointment for the following Wednesday. On 008/28/13 Tony and Kelly (hope have name right) came out. These guys were awesome! Kelly cleaned out all of the vent areas, making them very shiny. When Tony opened up the vent at the furnace in order to clean out the big duct with their twin motor vacuum system, there was a problem. Apparently the cooling coils in the bottom of my furnace unit were dripping with condensation. This is normal. The drip pan was plugged up and water was overflowing into the duct. Not normal! There was about 12 gallons of water in the duct. Tony told me that they could vacuum out the water and restore my ducting but an HVAC Tech. would have to take care of the furnace it self. It just so happens that Vito (owner) of Pacific NW Mechanical had just been out in July to service my furnace and A/C. He is also an A+ Angie's List service provider. I called Vito and he said that he would be at my home in about 30 minutes. Vito showed up in 15 minutes! Wow! I will do a supplemental report for Vito and the great job he did under his company's name after this. Tony and Kelly were very patient and understanding about Vito coming out and they coordinated their jobs very well. Tony and Kelly took the time to explain to me what was going on and really put me at ease. Overall this was a very positive experience and I will definitely use Better Air Northwest again. I can't say enough good good things about Better Air Northwest. They were punctual, efficient and did a great job cleaning my dryer vent...which was filthy, as I hadn't ever had it cleaned. The two young men who did the cleaning (Kelly and Mike) were great--explained everything in detail, and so polite and professional. I will definitely use Better Air Northwest in the future, both for dryer vent cleaning as well as air duct cleaning.

I purchased a Big Deal for dryer vent cleaning. Tony and Corey were punctual, professional, curteous and friendly. They explained what they would be doing and answered all my question. They explained the process for the air duct cleaning and I scheduled that before they left.

Arrived at scheduled time and did a thorough job. Very professional!

They charged me $200. It is normally $250, but they gave me a discount because I was a previous customer. The intake was kind of dirty, and my wife suffers from allergy and asthma so I had it done. There is a little bit of a difference after they cleaned it. It seems to be better. It was the same two guys who came out to clean the dryer vents.

My experience with them was great. There were no additional charges to the $50 big deal, but I had them come back out again a couple of weeks later to clean my air ducts. This was the first time I used them. They were very friendly. They worked very efficiently. They were done pretty quickly, and they kept my house looking the same as when they got there. That was a fairly new dryer, but we had the house for thirteen years, and the dryer was not working too well. So, when they cleaned those out, it is working much better. It is drying the clothes as good as when we got it. They were a few minutes late, but he did call me. He could not find the address. It is kind of hard to find location. He called me at least half-an-hour before to let me know that they were having a little trouble.

The dryer vent cleaning went well. They found moss growing in the vent and once it was removed, lots of lint emerged. Unfortunately, they weren't prepared for the amount of lint and had quite a job cleaning it up when it fell from the vent 25 feet in the air. Everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction.

Same as last year but with much less residue removed from long (10+feet) vent from dryer to exterior wall. Last year was first time we'd had vent cleaned in years and will never wait that long again. Potential fire hazard is too great! They did a great job, put the dryer back where it belonged and completed the work in a short time.

I bought the special deal for the dryer duct cleaning. They were supposed to contact me within a certain length of time to schedule the appointment. Didn't hear from them. When they finally did call, everything went fine after that. Would hire them again.
