Kelly and Edgar did a great job today. They were able to start a bit early today which was great! They were very thorough and knowledgeable about the process and welcomed questions. Everything was explained and demonstrated before they began, and results were reviewed at the end. Price was quoted in email ahead of time, price is by square footage, makes it simple. Returned call within the hour to schedule appointment. Arrived at the house 30 minutes early and waited for me to return at the scheduled appointment time. The service staff was very informative and performed the job as represented. They were very careful at leaving my home clean. Better Air NW did not try to "up sell" any products or additional services.

It turned out really nice. They showed up on time. They did their job. They are very courteous and clean. They put in the reverse flow filter and they put in a prefilter and they blocked the duct work so that the debris that they're pulling back into their vacuum system wouldn't go into the furnace that I have and then they actually ran tubings into cold air return and the hot air return, they did two separate sides of the heating and air conditioning and so they did the hot air first and they came back and did the cold air and they pulled all that debris into their vacuum system and they run a series of hoses into the duct work and they have these silicon whips on the end and they basically go around the furnace duct work on the inside and basically beats or release the various pollen and dust and hair and other items that collect and then make it cold with the reserve air vacuum system into their filters. And in a couple of instances they actually had to put in some small bore holes into the duct work because the house was built in '37 and there were curbs and tight areas and they plug that when they were finished. And these are access points they can use again in the future. And they explained all that they were going to do before they did it and they actually showed me the results of the - I mean showed me the prefilter and then they showed me the electrostatic filter as well. It was pretty impressive. I haven't had the house probably duct work cleaned in seven years and the previous company that did it didn't do nearly as extensive a job as these guys did. Compared to what I had paid for years before I think I got a better overall cleaning than I paid for before.

The team called to give me their arrival time as they were on their way, and they were then right on time. They had to climb onto the roof to clean out the dryer vent because the laundry room is on the upper floor, with the dryer vent exiting under the eave. The team cleaned the vent thoroughly all the way to where the vent goes into the wall from the dryer. They then came inside to check the flexible tubing going from the dryer into the wall. They found a small tear in the tubing at the wall and taped it up securely with metal tape. They also checked the lint trap inside the dryer, and it was clean. The whole process took about 30 minutes. They were very courteous, responsive and professional, and I have already recommended them to my neighbor who has the same type of upper floor dryer vent. I will definitely use Better Air Northwest again in the future. They did a great job!

Matt and his team cleaned our dryer vent and HVAC ducting. As a homeowner with really high standards, I have to say that Matt and his team exceeded all my expectations. They were able to make and special exception to get my service done the next day, and arrived on time as scheduled. They found several problems with the duct work, and went above and beyond to fix them with not extra charge. The team explained everything they were doing along the way. In short, if you need your ducts cleaned, these guys are the ones to go to - hands down.

They showed up exactly on time. It was a little difficult to get my appointment scheduled. They were very polite. The guys were great and got right to work. They cleaned up after themselves and showed me the stuff they took out of the vent. My vent door is located under my deck, when they pulled up the deck to get to the vent, there was a pile of pine cones from a squirrel nest. They cleaned that up, as well.

It turned out well. They did a professional job and they are very clean. They walked me through everything before hand. They explained everything and answered my questions. They called me and scheduled it within a day and then they came out within a couple of days. We have already scheduled for some other things.

Kelly & Edgar arrive on-time, were very personable, and offered full explanations of what would happen and what to expect. We offered a "horror" story of a neighbor, with the SAME ductwork - broken runs in the line and a $1500 repair of ducts and sheetrock, etc. Kelly took that into account and was SUPER careful and attentive to the "snaky" areas. They approached from two directions, cleaned thoroughly and was totally successful! I was surprised how quick the process was. Went well. Then, they both totally cleaned up, vacuumed and restored patios & laundry area to pristine condition. Thanks, guys, for attention and professionalism! We will have them back in January to clean the heating vents & ducts. They will discount the costs of this work, too!

Corey and Tony were awesome! They arrived on time, were friendly and very professional. I have a hard time with people I don't know being in my house but these guys were so great that I felt very comfortable having them here. They cleaned the vents individually, twice, once with a shop-vac to get the large debris, and once with the big vacuum connected outside. Their equipment was also very entertaining for our 4 year old who had a great time watching them work. They showed us the before and after of the vacuums and of the return air line and it was amazing to see just how much dust and debris we have been breathing in. They then cleaned out our dryer vent and it has made a huge difference in how our dryer runs. They found a huge clump of dryer lint built up in the vent that was not only preventing the dryer from working properly, but also could have been a fire hazard. We really felt the services they provided were worth every penny. Thanks again guys!

Everything was explained before they started the job, and they cleaned up thoroughly when they were through. I was able to get a quote and schedule the job via e-mail and all inquiries were answered promptly. Overall a positive experience and I would use this company again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went well. They were very nice, got in and out quickly and were careful to keep the floor clean.

The two men arrived on time, were very professional, friendly and courteous. They did a walk through of the home, explained their process and promptly began working. They cleaned each of the vents, air intakes, and the furnace which is up in the attic crawl space. They made helpful suggestions for better air movement throughout our home. After cleaning out each vent they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. After completing the job inside they went outside to clean the dryer vent and did the same great job there. I was very impressed with their service, would highly recommend them, and will use them again.

The guys were great, will be calling them back to finish the last little bit.

The service went well. They came out and did their work. There were 2 things, one was duct cleaning, and the dryer vent cleaning went well. The inspection was a separate thing to look at the ducts and earns. I was very pleased with what they did. I chose Mat to go to service because I felt like we did not actually need it. They were very professional and were not pushy. I used them a year ago, just shortly after I researched on that. That was probably March of 2012 or something.

I didn't at all appreciate being told ( complaining) that he had to drive from Tigard to SE Portland just to clean a dryer vent. I would have paid them extra to put the vents back on the dryer. The guy said they didn't know. I probably would never use them for any services again. I prefer hiring people that manage themselves professionally. We found this company on Angie's list is the only reason we went with them.

It was great. They did a good job. I liked that they were on time and they were nice but they didn't clean up on the outside. I don't know if they thought that because they were on the outside and that was the sidewalk, it didn't need to be cleaned up. It sure was full of a lot of limp. They cleaned the interior part up. I would call them again.

The two-man team from Better Air NW did a very thorough and very professional job. They probably do more furnace vent cleanings than dryer vent cleanings, but they took on this job with zest and skill. We had not had our dryer vent cleaned for a number of years, and were concerned about its condition due to the fire risk from lint in the system. We have a very long run on our vent (metal pipe) through a crawl space, and had had some damage at the outlet that made it vulnerable to critters gettng in. The Better Air team advised us how to install a new outlet, and thoroughly cleaned the long metal pipe. We felt much better (and safer) once they had completed the job.

They were fantastic. They were really, really great. They came out and did what they had to do and it ended up more work than they thought it was going to be because something got disconnected inside of the house. So, they fixed all that and cleaned it out. And when they were driving away, they noticed that my garage door didn't close after I hit the button so the guy called me at the end of the street to make sure that I close my garage door.
