The vent was clogged enough it was interfering with the efficiency of our dryer. They cleaned it out and did a great job.

Got coupon for cleaning for $50. They scheduled about 4 business days out and gave a 2-hour window during the day on a weekday. They called at beginning of window saying when they would arrive, were 15 minutes early. They used a heavy-duty shopvac with appropriate diameter tube, set on blow, from the inside (because my dryer was not operational at the time, else they would have used that). Then from outside, they had some flexible rods that screwed together to get to the length of the duct (like LintGuard), that attached to a drill, and they fed that into the duct until it reached the dryer side. That was 30 feet, for me, so I was impressed. Then, using the drill, they spun a little brush that was on the end of the rods back and forth and basically applied some scrubbing to the entire length of the duct. Lint would be blown out as it was dislodged. I didn't have any major blockages, but there was a lot of lint from the previous owner of the house. The vent output was at easily reachable height, so they had no problems. They use equipment that is gentle on a duct, and will hook up your dryer at the end. If you have an old plastic dryer-to-wall duct segment, that is dangerous, and they have a replacement one available for sale if desired. For the improved dryer ability and peace of mind, I think it was well worth the money.

Easy, fast, clean and done well. They even took their shop vac to the area to take care of the mess that had accumulated over time. They trimmed off the excess piping and re-attached everything properly which made the dryer fit into the space far better.

Called to make sure arriving early was okay. Both crew members were friendly, accommodating and super careful not to soil rug or damage shrubs crowding second-floor vent. Did a careful, thorough job and cleaned up after themselves; worked fast but not hastily. Would use them again in the blink of an eye and strongly recommend them to others.

They did fine, though they could have been a bit more communicative. They were in and out in about 20 minutes and cleaned up after themselves. Turns out that the vent was not dirty at all. Over the whole length of the pipe, after 2+ years, maybe a total amount of about a tennisball of lint came out (if it was even that much!) I am happy that it was not more for sure, but now know that I don't have to worry about it for at least 3+ years ... :-)

They were early, which I appreciated, and they called ahead to make sure it was ok to come early. They worked fast and were done within 10 minutes. We had not had our dryer vents cleaned in a long time, so there was quite a lot of build up. This company was fast, thorough, professional, friendly, and affordable. I would recommend for sure!

Better Air was extremely responsive. They worked us into their schedule so that we could get the vents cleaned before moving furniture into the house. They came at the end of their day and worked into the evening. Price was good, including a discount for Angie's list. Quality of the work seemed good. They repaired holes in a vent, and were very careful about having clean equipment.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING MY DRYER DUCT WHICH HAD NOT BEEN DONE IN MANY YEARS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING UP AFTER THE DUCT WAS UNCLOGGED AND HAD BLOWN DRYER LENT EVERYWHERE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

The guys arrived on time, were very friendly and professional. They explained the process, completed everything quickly, and then reviewed the results with me. They recommended other trouble-shooting methods for our dryer (which isn't drying quickly) and explained their other services and pricing, should I need them. The guys showed up on time and proceeded to clean out the vent. I just moved to this house and the hose on the dryer was to long for this connection. I asked if they could shorten it for me and they gladly did that. When they were done they showed me all of the lint that had been in the vent line. They could have cleaned up the lint on the outside a little better, but it isn't a real big deal.
