The ducts had never been cleaned in the 47 year-old history of the house. I recently had a new heating system installed and the duct cleaning was included in the price of installation hence the zero cost. Jerry did a very professional job (spread out tarps, removed his shoes, did not spread any dust, etc.). He asked me to inspect the work upon completion and it was spotless. I have a several hundred yards long gravel driveway that goes over a swamp and up a steep hill. Incredibly, Jerry BACKED HIS RIG UP THE ENTIRE DRIVEWAY!! A very pleasant fellow, he has my highest recommendation. I had always thought that duct cleaning was a needless frill, but after seeing how dirty the ducts were and learning about the health hazards that can come from it (we have 2 fireplace inserts), I can see how important it is to keep them clean.

jerry told me he wanted to walk the driveway to make sure he wouldn't get his truck or trailer stuck. I told him, and quot; no problem I will drive you there is no issues with our driveway I just had it graveled. Plus I moved into the house 2 years ago with a 60 foot moving van and receive a large amount of Costco, FedEx and UPS deliveries. Halfway down the driveway Jerry said I am going to decline this job. I was shocked and very upset. We got to the top of our driveway and showed Jerry that he would have no problem turning around. Still declined. In my opinion Jerry let his frustrations get to him because he didn't follow my directions to begin with so he took that out on me. I had to take off 3 hours from work to meet Jerry at my house and he didn't even apologize. Jerry might have some good reviews but he should of told me he was pulling a trailer or that he was so particular about his truck. I sent Jerry an apology email and told him that I was sorry for my verbal outburst towards him of course he didn't have the courtesy to reply back. Sorry Jerry you brought this review on yourself.

They were on time, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely flexible. I have an office in my home and they worked around my work to complete the cleaning of all the ducts in the home. Jerry came out himself and they did an excellent job even to polishing and cleaning the metal ducts and grates at the end of each vent. I am getting ready to use them again.

Jerry was very responsive to my needs. He contacted me prior to the service and showed up on time. Was friendly and helpful and even went above and beyond by performing a minor repair to my dryer vent system. I would definitely recommend him!!.

First off, I am VERY pleased I did NOT listen to the previous negative reviewer (which quite honestly, as you read the whole review- seems like the homeowner was told there might be a problem up front) After reading ALL of Jerry’s other reviews – it’s as clear as day that Jerry gets great reviews! Jerry was recommended by my home inspector. However. before I hired Jerry ,I called other heating companies and put out a Facebook plea for recommendations for Air Duct cleaning- EVERYONE said only use Jerry’s Air Duct! He quoted a fair price- that included cleaning the furnace and putting in new filters. Other quotes I received were higher than Jerry and did not include the furnace cleaning and filters. He was on time, described entire process before starting, protected my flooring and made sure everything was spotless before he left. Jerry offers the kind of professional local service that seems harder and harder to come by. Jerry told me I wouldn’t need my ducts cleaned for about another 6-8 YEARS- it was refreshing to hear such honesty.I would recommend him to my friends. Thumbs up to a professional local company!

My experience was that this is basically a waste of time and money with flexible vinyl vents in my heating system. As other reviewers indicated, Jerry was prompt and explained exactly what he was going to do before he started. Hooked up his large gas powered vacuum to one end and then went through the vents one by one, rodding each duct to get the dust and debris out. What that means is pushing a flexible hose with compressed air through the lines that has some flexible plastic strips on the end of it that get blown around by the compressed air and hit against the sides of the ducts. This knocks the dust loose as it goes through. Jerry said this was essential to getting the ducts clean, a vacuum alone would not do it. Once setup, he worked quickly. Some would say efficiently, but the next day, I noticed there was a whistle in the cold air return when the furnace ran, so I pulled off the grille and looked inside. The first 4 feet, which was metal, was clean as a whistle, but beyond that was flex ducting was obviously untouched as it was still coated with a thick layer of dust. When I talked to Jerry, he commented that he was afraid that the rods would go through the vinyl and leave holes in it, which obviously would be a bad thing. He then offered to return my check (which he promptly did) and suggested I hire someone else to do it. Jerry did a great job on my dryer duct which is all metal but if one has flexible vinyl ducting in their heating system as many newer homes do (my house is 10 years old), then this process seems a waste of time, at least with Jerry. Had I not noticed his incomplete job, Jerry would never have told me about this and kept my money.

Jerry thoroughly cleaned the air ducts/vents in each room of our home. This included the entryway, living room, recreation room, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and the dryer vent. He also cleaned the heating unit in the garage and replaced the filter. We found Jerry to be extremely knowledgeable and informative. He took the time to explain each process. His pleasant disposition is an additional asset. We would not hesitate to recommend him to all of our friends and neighbors.

Jerry did an outstanding job. From the first time I contacted him a few weeks ago, until he drove away in his truck. Jerry was very professional. He contacted us the night before to confirm his scheduled appointment. He also called prior to arriving at our home. He did give a quote for his services and was very fair. He explained the procedure at each step, ensuring we understood exactly what was happening as he progressed throughout our home. Jerry was very intricate and careful around our home. The results were awesome!! Jerry was very friendly and I felt as if I had known him for sometime. At the end of the service, he did give me a military discount. My dryer vent was clogged. Called Jerry, and he was there within 2 hours, within an hour window. He was right on time. Greeted me with a very cheery hello. Jerry used a pressurized hose (NOT a vacuum cleaner hose) to pull out all the debris, from the back of the dryer out to the outside vent. He wore a mask while he did this, and cautioned me not to stand too close. Good thing. The dryer dust/debris went everywhere, and there was a ton of it. Jerry then cleaned up the debris, and threw it into the trash. Dryer runs beautifully now.

I had a good feeling about Jerry after our initial phone conversation. He arrived on time and explained in detail how he was going to clean the air ducts. I was amazed to see all of the and quot;gunkand quot; that was circulating around my house, even drywall construction dust that was swept into the vents (my house is 25 years old!) Since having this done my house is a lot less dusty!. I found Jerry to be very honest, he said this only needs to be done every 10-15 years, and very personable. A+ Experience!

I was told by my heating company I needed my ducts cleaned- they highly recommended Jerry. Then I got on Facebook and posted a status asking who people would recommend for Air Duct and Dryer vent cleaning. 8 out 8 people said Jerry! So I got on Angies list read the reviews and called him. He answered all my questions and quoted me a price. He then called the night before to confirm appt- then showed up the next day ON TIME. He was very friendly and got to work. When he got to my dryer vent I was embarrassed by all that was able to remove- but he was very kind and told me he had seen worse... also I felt like the house felt cleaner after he left. When it was time to pay the bill there were no surprises- it was the exact price he quoted (unlike VAL-Pak air duct cleaners who never quite give you the whole story) THEN to top it off Jerry said that I probably would not need my air ducts cleaned for another 8-10 years! Who says that? His honesty was refreshing. Would I recommend Jerry?? YES without a doubt I would!

Jerry was recommended by both our duct sealing company and our window cleaners. He was on time and took extreme caution with the wood floors and furniture as his equipment runs throughout the house. When he fired up the giant vacuum forty years worth of stuff came rattling out of the vent system. Since his work, dust on the furniture and floor dust bunnies, a weekly occurrence, have all but vanished. The good news is Jerry only recommends this level of work every 10-12 years so the money goes a long way. The work went great and only took about three hours.

Jerry showed up in a nice truck and trailer with all the best gear and did a good and thorough job blasting out all my ducts. The ducts were really bad and the home inspector had pointed out the mountains of dust and junk in the ducts when we bought the place. Anyways, they are clean now. $300 plus tax seemed a little steep for a house this small but I know there are a lot of scammers in the air duct cleaning business and I only wanted an Angies list approved person doing it. Jerry is legit, he even went back and redid one of the duct runs he had finished in suspicion that the next duct run had blown something back up into the previous. That is the kind of attention to detail I like to see. On a relative side note, just FYI, duct cleaning isn't house cleaning. When he blasted the ducts it let go of some pretty thick dust which settled throughout the house. I have had to clean and vacuum the whole place and I would almost recommend going to see a movie or something after the duct cleaning is done because it put some kind of nastiness airborne into the house. I almost never have sensitivity to dust or anything like that but I was having some trouble for a day or so until all the dust settled. I would assume that is almost the same no matter who you go with for duct cleaning.. it's a lot of dust and they all blast it out. There is a huge vacuum that sucks it up but its not 100%. I'm much happier the stuff is not constantly in my house and air system but just be prepared to dust, sweep, and vacuum your whole place afterwards.

They charged between two and three hundred dollars, which was an excellent price for cleaning the air ducts, considering the size of my home. I absolutely will be using them again.

We had just purchased this house and wanted to get the forced air heating system cleaned. Jerry was recommended by the home inspecter we had used. Jerry was prompt, courteous and friendly. He spoke with me in detail of what he was going to do, even explaining the equipment he would use and how it would work. He took great pains to keep everything that came into the house perfectly clean and did an excellent job. He showed me the inside of the main air return and the buildup that was inside. WOW! If you have never had your forced air heating system cleaned, get Jerry and get the job done! He also as an additional service and charge can do your dryer vent. That made a huge difference in how quickly our clothes dry. I will recommend Jerry to anyone and will use him again in the future.

It was one of those things that you think they did it; he showed me the dust. They were here when they said and they did a good job.
