On Nov 7, 2023, I requested service through American Home Shield (AHS) and got dispatched to Washington Electrician Service LLC, phone number 253-325-5152. I paid $125 as a service fee An appointment was made and the contractor never showed up. The contractor reported that the dispatch was completed on the AHS online system. I informed AHS about it and AHS called the contractor investigating this issue. The contractor lied to AHS saying that he showed up and nobody answered the door. AHS issued a recall to this contractor. I called this contractor multiple times and left voice mail to make an appointment. But this contractor never responded. I called AHS about it and this contractor put AHS on hold and never got back to them. Each time I called AHS and AHS tried to call them and the contractor never answered their phone. Basically, this business uses AHS to scam people by taking the money and not providing any service. NOTE: Upon investigation, this business was originally owned by the current owner's father with an Auburn address. His son changed the address and phone number. The current address is in Orting.

Our home warranty through American Home Shield assigned Washington Electrician Service LLC to service and fix our broken ceiling fan. The electrician who was sent, Ted, was knowledgeable, polite and efficient on his first visit to assess what needed to be done to rectify the situation. Ted requested and it was approved by AHS to replace the ceiling fan. He said he could get the replacement as soon as the next week but due to our own scheduling conflicts we were not available for a couple of weeks. Ted was very flexible and able to put us into his schedule with a day and time that worked for us. Upon his timely and prompt arrival this morning he proceeded to replace our broken ceiling fan in a timely and efficient manner with a brand-new beautiful ceiling fan that now makes all the difference in our family room. He also was willing to answer a couple other electrical questions I had regarding other products and services WSE would be able to provide in the future for our family. All in all, it was a great experience. I encourage you to hire WSE for your electrical needs. Ted and WSE have literally lit up our day!
Description of Work: fix-replace ceiling fan want to note this was covered under our home warranty with American Home shield so we pay $75 for the service visit and AHS covers the rest. So I am not sure how much WSE was paid to replace the ceiling fan.

Never showed up or called and never returned phones calls or emails from me or American Home Shield. I even paid my deductible but I'll get that back and go with a different company. They are even open 24 hours is says so their should be no problem calling people back. Their voicemail is even full probably because of all the upset people wondering where the f*** the electrician is. This company needs to be shut down. Don't waste your time calling these people to help with your electric needs.

I cant even review there service, because they were a no call no show. After then didn't arrive at there scheduled time, they did answer my call's and didn't respond to voicemails or e-mails. I can say with confidence that no one should even waste there time even attempting to get work done through Washington Electricians Service LLC, in no uncertain terms.

I have a home warranty through American Home Shield and this electrician was assigned to my service request. The first time he came out, he diagnosed the problem but said he needed to get approval to perform the work. Said I should hear back from him by the following Tuesday. That was the last I heard from him. I tried calling multiple times, left voicemails, and received no response. Then he marked the service request as "complete." I contacted American Home Shield and they reopened my request, but assigned the same electrician. He never contacted me about scheduling and instead unilaterally set an appointment for a time I was unavailable. I tried calling to reschedule and received no response. On the day of the appointment I received a notification that Ted was on his way. I replied that I was unavailable, and instead of contacting me, Ted marked the service as complete again. I cannot recommend strongly enough against hiring this electrician service. They are unprofessional, do not communicate with customers, and cannot be relied on.

Have a home warranty through American Home Shield who offered this contractor to repair my bathroom fans. They showed up once after I paid the deductible and told me I would receive a call when the parts came in. I didn't hear from them for about a month or so and decided to give them a call. They scheduled an appointment and the representive never showed up. They did not call me to say what happened. A day or two later, I called them and was informed that the service person had been bitten by a dog and that was the reason for not showing up or calling. I sheduled an appointment again and no show. I called my AHS and tried to circumvent this company as they appeared to be illigitimate, but ended up having to make another appointment with them and they didn't show again. It's been six months since they first arrived at my home and now I will file a BBB complaint and a small claims. This is like a phantom business. You see their name, but no one's home.

Took several days to schedule the service call. When I finally did speak to someone, they scheduled for 1 week out. Since then I have called 5 or more times and left voicemails on the office number (253) 561-8512, and receive ZERO call backs. I used the phone number from Angie's list which seems to be the electrician (maybe owner) and waiting on a call back from him. Since I was out of town, it was important to get this handled, but I have received no feedback or explanation of what was done to get the problem solved. Don't hire them if you value a customer/service professional relationship.

scheduled through American Home Shield to diagnose and repair a bathroom vent fan. He came out, turned it one and saw it was spinning. When I mentioned it would stop and make a horrible noise in a few minutes he went out his truck to call ahs to get approval to buy a replacement and install. He said they had a computer issue and he'd need to call them later then he would follow up with me if it got approved or not. Once he left, I heard nothing. Despite calling and leaving messages numerous times with him and AHS to get it reopened, I've heard boo. I'm not sure where the issue lies, but the lack of communication and follow up is disappointing. AHS said free claim was closed with no further work needed. So I'm out $75 and plan to do it myself.

We needed our electrical panel changed due to our old panel failing and causing many electrical problems. I called and made an appointment for a free estimate. He came out for the free estimate , (Ted Halady) and was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He gave us a very competitive quote to change our panel. After getting a few other quotes we decided to go with WES. They scheduled the job and Ted Halady came out and replaced the panel. Very clean work and polite. I would definately reccommend this electrical company and will be using them in the future.

In a word: terrible. Washington Electrician Service LLC (Ted Halady) did not respond to the first dispatch within two days, or five or seven days. We called several times before finally receiving a call from him over nine days later. Although I would not have followed through with the appointment were this service not under warranty, I was obliged and made the appointment. He arrived as promised but was unable to identify anything wrong with our electrical systems. Now, I understand that some issues are hidden or difficult to figure out. However, this electrician had no insight whatsoever into the possible risks this might pose to our home due to damage to our appliances or to the home due to fire. Instead, he suggested that Seattle City Light (local electric utility) was providing service that fluctuates and could cause our issues. Um, what? Perhaps the electrician was being funny? Or, maybe he wanted to obscure the fact that he was unable to identify the cause of the problem? I'm not sure. After saying that, he gave us a 60-day warranty that he would come back to our home if we experienced the problem again. We did continue to experience the power outages and flickering so we called him again. No response. So we called the home warranty company and they called him and called him and left multiple messages. Still no reply. There are SO many red flags here. Despite the one other positive review for this company on Angies List, I would not have chosen this company to provide electrical services to my home. Unfortunately, my all-home warranty forces me to accept their choice of provider. I also saw a very poor review of this company on Yelp. (Although I take Yelp reviews with a grain of salt.) If you are searching for electrical services and you prefer a provider that replies to your calls and requests and appears to have some proficiency, I suggest that you do not choose Washington Electrician Service LLC.
Description of Work: We experienced persistent electrical issues with flickering lights and electrical outages. Our all home warranty chose Washington Electrician Service LLC. After receiving the dispatch, the service provider is given two days to respond and contact us to arrange a service visit. We pay a flat fee of $75 since the service is under contract.

Response from Washington Electrician Service llc
We were at this home through the customers home warranty. There were no electrical failures found upon inspection of there electrical system. There home warranty company limits what is covered by there contracts. There is a full dispatch process that must be followed when dealing with or contacting customers associated with home warranty or insurance programs. We originally did call this customer the day after receiving there dispatch. Delays in service or scheduling are not always avoidable when dealing with insurance programs. Would love the opportunity to work directly for you in the future, and not through a third party, and prove the quality service of our company.

Perfect. Great introduction to generator service. We just purchased a new home with a generator that Washington Electric installed a year earlier. The previous owner had a service contract that they had been paying on. Washington Electric seamlessly honored that contract and performed the service. They showed up right when they said they would (no 4 hour show up window). The service was efficient and thorough. I’ve now signed up for a service contract. I like the discounts that can be given for multi-year contracts.
