T&N Quality Bldg and Remodeling

We were very happy with T & N Quality Building. They remodeled our kitchen for us, and it turned out great. Mark came out and gave us a quote, and he managed the project. The same 3 guys, Russ, Craig and Colin, did the work. We really liked that it was the same team of guys that did the work from start to finish so we didn't have too many different people coming in and out of the house and it helped with consistency and communication. We also liked that Mark was very professional and understanding when there were "hiccups" such as an issue with the fireclay sink that I ordered and some items that I ordered were delayed, and he was patient with us on that. There was also an issue with the wine rack that was built in, and he helped troubleshoot that issue professionally. Overall, the remodel was speedy even with the issues that arose. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a remodel, the price quoted was fair, we interviewed many contractors and their quote was not the cheapest but not out of line either and we wanted quality, and I feel we got just that.

I cannot say enough good things about T & N. The crew of Mark, Colin, Russ and Craig cannot be beat. They came in to my home and put my vision in place. The initial scope of work was to just remodel the kitchen and laundry area. That project was completed in roughly 4 weeks. From there, we decided to paint the whole house (3200 sqft), update the baseboards and doors, replace all electrical outlets, remodel the half bath and update the railing of the staircase. Each time a project was completed, I was left in AWE of what an amazing job the crew did. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this crew. I'll definitely hire them again for future projects!

After buying our home back in June 2021, we noticed the sunroom addition to our home seemed to be improperly supported and was a possible safety hazard. After calling many many many contractors with little to no response, Mark was quick to respond to us and came out soon after our initial chat. He was very friendly and made sure we understood how, when, where, and why they were going to perform the work. We appreciated his straightforward and thorough explanation and agreed to have the work done. We had originally scheduled the work to be done in early September, but the crew ended up being able to come out in late August, finishing the job early. The crew were friendly and helpful in answering my questions and they left the job site cleaner than it was before when they were finished. The final product looks great and we feel much safer after having this work done. Thank you to Mark and his team for doing such an awesome job! You'll be hearing from us again in the future. :)

In a time when it is very challenging to find a great contractor, Mark absolutely shined. His communication was great and the entire process was seamless. Craig, who did the bulk of the hands on work, was awesome. Great guy and the quality of his work was on point. We have a much larger project planned down the road and these guys will be our first call. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any projects you might have.

Mark's team was an absolute pleasure to work with! They quickly and expertly replaced our siding, and helped us out with a few other small repairs around the house. I am looking forward to working with them again on future projects!

Wow. Five stars, easy. Project started off with a rapid response from Mark after we posted a query for a new wood deck at our swampy rear yard. Mark and Colin came out to the house to discuss the project and, thankfully, steered us towards composite material instead of wood. Russ and Craig did a fantastic job providing us with a beautiful deck - substantial structural framing, perfect finish carpentry on deck, stairs, and skirt. Jobsite was left spotless every day and work was done in a timely manner (and in the amount of time promised). Same result with new patio ceiling and ceiling fan, impeccable carpentry and, again, finished in time promised, absolutely no surprises on this project. Also, the team of Mark, Colin, Russ, and Craig is very professional and courteous as well as patient with picky homeowner! Throughout the project their goal was to make sure we were inconvenienced as little as possible and that were happy with the work, including making several suggestions that had not occurred to us. Great design/build group! We are now trying to come up with other projects just so that they'll come back!

Mark, Colin, and team are top notch. They run a very professional business and are customer oriented more so than any other company I’ve worked with in this industry. We trusted their team with a master bath remodel in late 2019. We went with this crew based on how focused they were on satisfying our needs and making sure our bathroom was what my wife had envisioned. They were patient and never made us feel rushed during any of the decisions we needed to make. They were not the least expensive but were competitive and I was comfortable with the premium given the reviews and quality of the work I had seen from other projects. Allow the employees are amazing. Very courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. They worked quickly and efficiently. It’s been 18 months and we’ve had no problems with the work. And when my kids loosened a faucet, Colin and Craig came over within 48hrs to fix at no cost even though it was our fault. Simply the best. I am considering further work on my home with this team and have no interest in quoting other contractors because I may save a little bit in my opinion, it’s worth it to get the best construction team.

Mark,Collin and their crew took our 1980s condo and turned it into a beautiful home to be proud of! Like other reviewers on this site, we were completely satisfied with the work that was done. We hired Mark based on the reviews and felt confident that he was the right contractor for our job. This was a full condo remodel and there was nothing left undone, it looks like a brand new condo!! The crew Mark has working with him are hard working polite and personable, the quality of their work is top notch. When we had questions Mark and Collin always got back with us, No was never in their vocabulary what ever we needed they made sure it got done. I would definitely hire these guys again. It was a pleasure working with them and getting to know them.

I have a deck that was showing its age. I decided to have it resurfaced with composite and have the railings replaced. I spoke to Mark on the phone and the initial discussion went fine. He said they were trying to limit on-site estimates due to COVID (perfectly understandable) and asked me to text some pictures so he could give me an idea of the cost. I did so within a few hours and received no reply. I made several attempts to contact T&N over the next couple of weeks and they never returned my calls or texts. If you don't want to do a job, why not just be honest with the potential customer? I fully understand that no contractor is under any obligation to bid a job, but it's common courtesy to inform someone when you aren't going to. I certainly won't contact T&N for any future projects, since they couldn't even be bothered to call me back about this one. Ultimately, I found another company that was perfectly willing to take my money (about $13,000, so it's not as if this was a trivial job) and they did a great job.

Well, I was really looking forward to hearing more. I got an initial quote over the phone, after Mark had stopped by to see what we needed. I asked for specs on the quote so we could confirm what we were comparing between quotes (talked about options for materials). Nothing. No call back. I’ve called 4-5 times over the past few weeks. I realize the job isn’t real big, but sure would love the respect of a call back. I guess no response tells me what I need to know. Not interested.

Mark Rice (owner) and his crew built us a beautiful roof over our patio. The roof looks like it was originally part of the house and not an addition. It is **** for stout. Mark was on site most days. Otherwise, he always answered the phone and responded quickly to texts. Every day the crew left a very safe and clean work space. Everyone was professional, polite, and friendly. The cost for the roof was $19,200. Additional costs for the architect, drawings, permits, painting, and gutter screens were $8,797. I was disappointed that the whole process took six months. Delays were due to getting the permit, trusses were not available, and scheduling conflicts. Once the ducks were in a row, it took two weeks to complete. In the end, we are very happy with our new roof.

I am extremely satisfied with my new deck and can't say enough about how smoothly the installation process went. From my first contact with the owner (Mark), I was immediately impressed by his experience (+30 years) and eagerness to help me design a unique outdoor living space. He provided me with some excellent ideas and just completed the first phase of my project--installing the deck. Each member of the installation team was friendly, professional, and worked hard to complete the job. They were meticulous, take a lot of pride in their work, and it shows! (They also didn't mind saying "hi" to my rambunctious puppy, which was an added bonus). After dealing with a number of contractors over the years, the top two qualities I value are communication and quality. T&N delivered on both fronts. Mark kept me updated on the status of my project and did what he said he was going to do. It's a simple concept, but not everyone does it. I appreciate finding companies that operate in this manner and T&N fits the bill. As for the quality of the work, it's excellent. The deck looks great and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We are eager to entertain family and friends on our new deck and my only regret is that I didn't contact T&N earlier. We can't wait to get started on the next phase of our outdoor living space and will definitely use T&N for that project as well as any other remodeling projects we decide to pursue in the future.

The entire deck buiilding process went as smooth as it could. Mark was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. T&N was by far the lowest bid we received. The quality of the work was top notch, The entire process took about a month, We couldn't be happier with the work that T&N did. We plan on using them for our next home renovation project.

T&N did excellent work. The deck is beautiful, they were on time, and the workers were wonderfully friendly and professional. When they showed for the work and within 5-minutes they called me out to share that the deck was not properly secured to the house, and was lacking bracing to keep it solid (not moving around when you walked in it). They didn’t charge me to shore up the deck as a part of their work, and that was unusual- and very much appreciated. Service beyond is hard to find these days. The Owner (Mark) was a real pro, and wonderful to work with. This is a really good company and I would highly recommend them for any type of work that they do.

Called and made an appointment for 9 AM. Nobody showed up. Nobody called and said they would be late. At 10:30 I had to call them to see what is going on. Why is this provider rated at an A rating? Must be their friends and family writing reviews to bump up their numbers.

This was the most smooth project I've ever done. Despite starting a week late due to the snowmageddon snow storm, Mark was still done with this complete job in less than a month! Everything that existed was completely gutted to the sheetrock. Every cabinet, counter top, bathtub, door, shower stall, light fixture, molding, electrical plug, blinds, flooring and all appliances were replaced.

Excellent. All work was high quality and done to our satisfaction. Mark is easy going and great to work with, but also wants the work to be done perfectly. There were a couple things here and there that needed to be corrected or changed, and they were promptly addressed without issue. We love our new kitchen and look forward to working with Mark and his crew on future projects.

I started my project by getting several bids. I ended up choosing Mark and his team at T&N Quality Building and Remodeling. His bid came in about half the cost of the rest. I know what you are thinking about going with the lowest bid but after meeting Mark in person you can rest easy. He's old school with a firm handshake the deal was done. He is trustworthy and knowledgeable. My remodel consisted of removing old flooring and installing tile flooring instead, build a custom enclosure for our new washer and dryer, installed a base cabinet for our new laundry sink, plumbed our new sink, built and installed floating shelves, removed old lighting fixture and installed 3 new recessed lights to make the room brighter, installed a new fan, installed new baseboard trim, painted, and installed new quartz countertops. Mark and his crew are very professional. I got to know Russ one of his workers and he is extremely skilled at his craft, and Mike his painter left us amazed with his crisp paint lines. His crew always picked up after themselves at the end of the day and were punctual the next day. Mark himself would give me daily updates and he was very patient with us because at times my wife and I would change things up last minute but he was very respectable and honest in what that would do for our timeline. Also, Mark ended up helping us in getting our quartz countertop because the original my wife and I had chosen was not available. He went out of his to way to get samples and gave us a recommendation on the one we should choose. So, we did just that, we took his advice and went with the one he recommended. We are glad that we did because the countertop color gives great contrast with the color scheme we chose for our laundry room. All in all Mark and his crew are great, honest, and hard working people. He wont gouge you in price. He will be honest and upfront with you, which I like. As a matter of fact I have Mark and his team building a custom cabinet for our laundry room as well. Mark and his team will take care of your needs. Trust in that, I am happy customer of his and I will continue to use his services for my future projects as well.

Mark was awesome. Let's start there. He was very punctual and always kept to schedule. His team was really nice, too. Mark kept me up to date, even when it was stuff that was just wrong with the way the previous contractor - whose problems T&N was fixing - messed things up. He was very flexible when it came to things I wanted, too. And, further, Mark was always able to come up with better ideas for my remodel than I was and brought them up with me. And, things I didn't even know I wanted were brought up and done. The tile in my shower used to be uneven and pooled in spots. Now that the remodel is done with T&N, it's genuinely better than I had ever thought it would be. If in the future I want to get my other bath done, I'm probably not coming to Angie's List first. I'm definitely calling up T&N.
